33 Les Miles had his patented baffled look on at the end of the game last night.

Les Miles = the Tony Romo of SEC coaching.

Worst play calling ever. LSU had 208 total yards with TB Jeremy Hill getting 125 of it and 2 TDs on just 12 carries (10.4 yards per carry). Naturally, he didn't get a single touch in the 4th quarter.

It's hard to imagine how Miles and his staff watch the film each week and somehow can't see that they are the problem (again see Romo, and his brilliant play-calling mentor Garrett) but there you have it.

48 Your stats may be true, Toby, but as a die hard LSU fan I'd like to punch Les in the face right now. His ridiculous decisions cost us that game last night, yet again.

It was Miles' fault we never put Jarrett Lee on the field in the national championship game last year or opened up the play book against Florida earlier this season (losing 14-6 on nothing but line bucks and lateral wide-receiver screens); it was his stupid fucking trick-play calling that cost us the Bama game at the end of this season; and his call to not give Hill even a single 4th quarter touch last night even though he was the only productive offensive player we had.

Winning record or not I hate that motherfucker.

53 Well, regarding LSU's last possession last night...

Throw on 1st down was a good change-up. Throw on second down was an OK call, QB just screwed up an easy first down. If he hits that pass, it's pretty much game over. Throw on 3rd down: guess it didn't really matter after the 2nd down screwup, as LSU's defense could not stop them anyway later on 4th and... what was it? 17 FUCKING yards???

*burp* Seriously, it was a biscuit.

As for Miles' effort in last year's NatChamp game, those weren't his only mistakes. Who runs a QB Option down the line of scrimmage so close that a DL can reach out and touch him?

Also, after that game, I ran into a guy in line at the liquor store (who should be a reliable source, heh) who said that the LSU team had some sort of disagreement in the locker room before the game. Something was definitely wrong with them, they sure didn't look like the same team we played earlier in the season.

109 I wonder how bad my home State team the Nebraska Cornhuskers will choke during this game?

Their Big 10 loss to Wisconsin was painful even when I just glanced at the score the next day to see how it went. Their heyday from the 90's is long over. Not the worst team obviously as they still enjoy a 70-80% win rate most years since but they're no longer championship material by any means. I'm not rooting against them by no means but I'm just a realist in what I think their odds are. They have consistently had a hard time winning against ranked opponents let alone winning a Bowl game for many years now.

187 MMM, I don't think IL will see it that way, this isn't about self-defense, it's about EEEVIL GUNZZZ.

Reckon that everyone would have a revolver... WTH is wrong with you? Only IMPORTANT people get anything in Illinois.

190 Nebraska beating my pessimism at the moment and just scored again. Maybe they'll pull it off.

Hey Sassy! How's the kid?

Posted by: Steck at January 01, 2013 03:23 PM (RL7U1)

192 She's good, thanks. She had a blast at a big sleepover last night with 7 kids. She's in a great mood. Did you have a good New Year's Eve?

Posted by: Sassy at January 01, 2013 03:25 PM (lhBr9)

193 Great NYE, thanks Sassy. Stayed the heck off the roads and (at a moron's suggestion) watched the Red Eye NYE Mildly Entertaining Special.

Posted by: Steck at January 01, 2013 03:28 PM (RL7U1)

194 Sometimes those are the best New Year's Evenings. Enjoy the holiday. Stay warm. At least it's sunny today in the low 20s as opposed to cloudy.

195 It looks like whoever scores last will win the George/Nebraska game.

196 Jesus, that ref in the UGA/Neb game is yoooge. Looks like a defensive end. Or Brock Lesnar's brother.

197 they never post pics of Michigan cheerleaders. Ugliest girls in the Big 10. As opposed to Ole Miss in the SEC where they red shirt Miss America.

198 Enjoying the Michigan v SC game -- rooting for the Big 10. Looks like Nebraska has shown up to play, too.

199 OMFG!!!! Monster helmet-popping-off fumble-causing hit on Michigan RB. Most devastating hit I've ever seen!

200 Georgia up by 14.

Posted by: toby928© for TB at January 01, 2013 04:11 PM (QupBk)

201 Clowney! That was just a monster slobbernockin hit there. Agree, best hit I've seen from scrimmage all year.

202 Nebraska.... *chokes*

Unless they pull off a serious 4th quarter miracle which they were sort of famous for this season then this outcome isn't terribly unexpected sadly.

Everything from elections, to employment woes to a lack of an apocalypse is against me it seems. No reason for a football game outcome to be different I guess....

207 Well it's good to see the Big Ten showed their prowess by getting that important win by Northwestern. Good grief.

210 Are those cheerleaders mocking their ex, or current-soon-to-be-ex, boyfriend's manly attributes?

Funny, whenever I tried to talk to a hot cheerleader, or most any any young lass, in high school or college they gave me a hand jester as well, the same one oddly enough; involving just a single digit.

211 Holy shit. I know this thread is old, but I just noticed the link to the "Saint" generator.

I went there and clicked on it.

It said my saint was St. Paul Miki of Japan. His Feast Dy is February 6.

That is my birthday.

Holy SHIT.
