Steven Crowder Releases Unedited Video Of Union Thug Attack [Warden]

The left basically had two responses to the videotaped assault of Steven Crowder at the Lansing union protest:

1) Crowder deserved it for provoking an angry crowd. (The unspoken rule being that leftists are fully within their rights to punch someone in the face when confronted by words that upset them.)

2) The video was "selectively edited." Their favorite denial mechanism since Breitbart and James O'keefe burned them with the ACORN sting.

Crowder has now released the full video of the incident. And while it's true that it appears someone tossed that sucker punching union fattie to the ground prior to his attack on Crowder, it doesn't look like Crowder was the one who did it.

What is clear is that Mr. Sucker Punch was spoiling for a fight prior to the incident. The video clearly shows him following Crowder around, sticking a sign in his face, and cursing him out repeatedly.

The video also shows the union mob tearing down the Americans For Prosperity tent.You can see at least two women flee the tent as it happens. It appears that union slobs, in addition to being fat, lazy and stupid, also have no problem assaulting women.

As for Crowder, he comes off looking clean. He does not "provoke" anyone unless you define provocation as calmly disagreeing with a crowd of protesters.

All the provocation comes from the mob on the other side. At one point, Crowder is completely surrounded by angry, aggressive union members shouting profanities at him. Even as these guys push into his space using threatening words and gestures, he puts his hands up palms out to show non-aggression.

In fact, Crowder never raises his voice until they tear down the tent. That's when someone tosses the union member to the ground. It's not clear who did it, but it appears to be the man next to Crowder. I think what happened was that the confused, enraged, and likely alcohol addled union goon just came up swinging at whoever was nearest.

Crowder did an admirable job of protecting himself. This is what I said in the Overnight Thread about the incident after it happened.

I've watched the attack on Steven Crowder a couple of times and noticed something: Check out the :40 mark when the fat old drunk gets a little off balance swinging those haymakers.

Crowder quickly closes the distance and ties up the guy's right arm. Then he moves in and begins to clinch.

Closing with the guy was smart. By doing so, he protected himself from further punches. It's hard to hurt someone when they're clinching with you. That's why boxers do it when they get rocked.

Once inside, he could have easily tossed this fucko on his head with a hip throw, gotten a body lock and tripped him, or taken him down with a double leg. But Crowder couldn't risk taking it to the ground with that hostile crowd all around.

I'm guessin Crowder understands a thing or two about fighting. That fat union goon? Not so much. Any decent fighter would get of two or three accurate strikes by the time he finished one of those wild, off-balanced haymakers.

Turns out I was right. Here's what Crowder said in the comments at Hotair.

Indeed. And notice how he kept his hands up and open…clinched and tangled up the goons when possible.

I’m impressed.

Would love to put on some headgear and pillow-gloves and spar with the dude.

Got a feeling he’d take me easy…inside three rounds.

Tim_CA on December 20, 2012 at 12:48 PM

Haha thanks. I’d actually love to. I’m a grappler, not a striker though. That’s why I clinched to defend, but immediately realized that if I’d have defended myself, the mob would have killed me.

StevenCrowder on December 20, 2012 at 2:04 PM

Yup. Smart. Crowder would've beat that old man's ass if there weren't a mob of other angry, overweight goons on the verge of pulmonary embolism there to back him up.

But that's just how these loutish pigs roll, isn't it?

5 Oh, Warden! I didn't realize it was you. That was a hell of a post last night. I completely missed it somehow, but read it today. I haven't had a chance to read most of the comments, though.

I wouldn't mind seeing it bumped to the top again tonight.

10 Warden- I ordered the book, went to the gold/silver dealer, talked to a well driller, uh, what else.

Bought a bad ass weapon Monday (in addition to the current small arsenal)

My wife is going to lose it when she sees what I'm up to. Instead of preparing for a crisis I think I am going to start one.

11 Looked to me like thug boy tripped over his own feet and stumbled. I think it is misleading to say someone shoved him. There is no evidence of that and given how much trouble he seemed to have staying on his feet when he went after Crowder I would bet money on him tripping himself or losing his balance when he bumped into someone.

12 Trump, I think you ought to really think about what you said.

It reminds me of Michael Moore wondering why New York got hit when so many New Yorkerssympathized with the Muslims, and why couldn't it have been a red state hit on 9/11.

Please get some perspective. Thanks.

13 What Crowder needed was a bag of Cheetos to distract the union thugs. They can't fight when they are greased up with Cheeto dust.

15 Ugh, being compared to Michael Moore really hurts. Thanks for the wake up call Miss Marple. Will do.

16 Crowder is an MMA guy. Its my understanding that he has spent at least some time in the ring working out with the pros.

Posted by: AndrewsDad at December 20, 2012 07:53 PM (C2//T)

17 I think what Moore actually said was something like, "Why did they hit NY? Most of them didn't vote for Bush."

As if Moore thought the Muzzies shared his hatred of Bush and attacked America for that reason.

Posted by: rickl at December 20, 2012 07:53 PM (sdi6R)

18 Tobacco Road,

First give that book a read. Then do some thinking and planning.

I'd say food stores are what you want next if you don't have any. Wells are expensive to drill. More power to you if you can do it and survive the wife's wrath, but I'd hate to spring that one on my own wife without notice.

I'm not saying I'm an expert on any of this. Kick some stuff around with friends and family if you can. The more people you trust that you can get thinking this way, the better.

that dildo pushed your post down?

Posted by: soothsayer at December 20, 2012 08:00 PM (Ba6aP)

22 I myself am thinking about a well. I think our water table is fairly high, since there is a creek near us, so I shouldn't have a huge expense. Also, we are on clay soil with the bedrock about 500 feet below us, so they won't have to drill through rock.

I want to be able to irrigate my garden without paying enormous water bills. I also want something that could convert to a hand pump if things went really bad.

Posted by: Miss Marple at December 20, 2012 08:00 PM (GoIUi)

23
These Union Thugs are outright admitting...that their unions can't survive unless they can force people to join them.

Opperative word here, is 'force'.
Which is all they seem to know.

Posted by: wheatie at December 20, 2012 08:01 PM (K4wCe)

Isn't it funny how the same crowd willing to ditch core Republican principles is the same crowd who is socially liberal.

And the connection escapes them.

25 >>>, we are on clay soil with the bedrock about 500 feet below us, so they won't have to drill through rock.

But they have to drill to bedrock for a proper well, at least the well driller told me today and he's been drilling here forever. I looked at 100' and 200' hand pumps today. I am thinking I'd have to go 200-400'.

26 Was there any explanation of what happened at 6:18 when the guy in the Carhartt coveralls grabbed Crowder by his collar and pulled him to the ground?

Posted by: geoffb at December 20, 2012 08:09 PM (d3wbb)

27 1) Crowder deserved it for provoking an angry crowd. (The unspoken rule
being that leftists are fully within their rights to punch someone in
the face when confronted by words that upset them.)

I don't think this is an unspoken rule. As near as I can tell, it's always been an explicit, spoken aloud with pride rule.

Posted by: Vermin at December 20, 2012 08:10 PM (dAIU+)

28 Thanks Warden. I am doing my research. Analyzing all the options, AND costs. Intend to develop a plan, that is within means, and won't cause spouse to throw me completely under the bus. Then execute.

Well drilling - 200-400 feet through clay to bedrock probably around 4 grand here in NC per the well driller.Getting permits will be the bitch.. Hand pump kit for that depth probably another 1-1.5 grand. I have a basement so 55 gallon barrels is looking more like the plan.

Posted by: Tobacco Road at December 20, 2012 08:12 PM (4Mv1T)

29 I saw elsewhere that someone said the guy fell over a tent strap. I have to say it kind of looks like that in the video.

30 Greetings:

When it comes to multiples, my father's theory, to which I subscribe, was that they're always tricky. So,

1) Identify avenues of escape;
2) Protect avenues of escape;
3) Limit avenues of approach;
4) Chin down, hands up;
5) Offense undermines defense.

31 " Crowder deserved it for provoking an angry crowd. (The unspoken rule
being that leftists are fully within their rights to punch someone in
the face when confronted by words that upset them.)"

The Lefty Rule also has a Trayvon Correllary.
That is, leftists who belong to protected minority classes also feel entitled to use physical force to attack anyone whom they feel have slighted them on grounds of being a minority.

Hence, T Martin, when confronted for looking and acting like a teenage thug who didn't live in the neighborhood, felt immediately entitled to take a swing at Mr. Z, on grounds of being "profiled while black"

Hence the outrage of so much of the minority community (which does, I feel obligated to say, include many, many fine folks, just too many on the Democratic plantation).

The outrage stems mostly from the fact that they too could see themselves doing what Trayvon did. Not staking out potential burglaries of course, but in getting immediately violent with anyone who they feel may possibly have "profiled" them in a racial way.

That is, I truly think that so many minority folks feel so angry with Mr. Z defending himself against fists and concrete with deadly force --as they see themselves as having the "right" to start a serious fight, and inflict serious physical harm on someone, for any perceived racial slight.

So, if Mr Z could defend himself in such a situation, that means it would be justified for themselves to be shot doing what they feel is justified. In this situation, the psychology of human preservation means something must give way. In this case, what gives way is any true logic for the grounds of justified self defense: "does not compute..."

No evidence, I admit, except many years living on the planet.

Having had several face downs with groups let me add these;

6)Without losing awareness of others, look the most immediate threat in the eyes and let your posture be one that says you will fight if necessary.

7)Respond to verbal threats firmly but without escalation. (no cursing)

Back to the wall. Always.

34 I'm a teamster that is ashamed and embasssed of what my union does Plus I know that a lot of my brothers in the union are sick and tired of what our union stands for. Personally I cant even read my union newsletter cause it reads like the communist manifesto. I try to tell my brothers that its not a good thing. Greed is greed no matter what level of income you work at!!!!!
