Coffee, Tea, or N.E.? [Niedermeyer's Dead Horse]

Welcome to your in-flight entertainment.

I'll be dropping by to lighten the load when things get too heavy or too stale.

Don't expect the King's Speech and don't look for captivating social or political commentary. Think more along the lines of Michael Bay.... or Kate Upton.

Cheap? Yes.

Easy? Yes?

I know my limitations but I know you, dear fellow morons and moronettes, almost as well and I know myself: You appreciate a well-placed elbow or a good song and dance as much as anyone I know.

So, with that in mind, let's get to it.

From "Matt Damon is gay" to a world populated by Charlie Sheen clones, the National Enquirer never disappoints.

Okay. They sometimes disappoint. Like the time they were sued by Carol Burnett, and lost. But, then they come around like a thief in the night and steal a headline-grabbing story right out from under the nose of an ever-watchful mainstream media. For that reason alone, they deserve the occasional drop-see because you never know what truth is lurking beneath the surface. Sure, you'll have to wade between the usual Alien Stole My Baby and Man with Six Nipples stories, but that's half the fun.

Look at it as a treasure hunt.

Imagine... What would a world full of WINNING! look like?

Kopi luwak (Indonesian pronunciation:[ˈkopi ˈlu.aʔ]), or civet coffee refers to the beans of coffee berries once they have been eaten and excreted by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other civets.[1]
The name is also used for brewed coffee made from those beans. The
civet eats the berries for their fleshy pulp. In the digestive tract,
the civet's proteolytic enzymes seep into the beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. Passing through a civet's intestines the beans are then defecated, keeping their shape.

106 People, people ... seriously?

1. Traditionalist is a sock yanking your chain, not a concern troll.

2. It wasn't racist to run against Allen West because he is a house slave like Tim Scott and Clarence Thomas. So, by stealing his seat and giving it a preppie white boy who has been arrested for multiple criminal acts, the Dems were actually freeing him from our repressive clutches.

3. Counter-intuitively, however, opposing John Edwards was racist, because he really cared about people. And because his wife had cancer, he had absolute moral authority, right up until the point he didn't. Like Cindy Sheehan.

You wacky racist teabaggers make this so much harder than it has to be.

Well it's impossible to report if you're not there. Syria is lying it's pants off.Listen as much as we hate the MFM, I think it's fair to admit that every so often they do something....brave. (We may question their intentions in any particular instance, but it still takes guts to walk into Syria and trust them to abide by rules of engagement for the press.)I have no beef against Engel personally. He and Ben Wedeman seem to be genuinely concerned for the region (which they seem to hold considerable affection form, almost a sense of home.)What they choose to report or not to report with regards to the final Muslim Brotherhood takeover of places like Egypt is a somewhat different question (I tend to believe it was a combination of factors, including but not limited to: internal biases, i.e. they had blinded themselves to it and editing at both their and higher levels to make Obumbles look good.)

200 Cheapest Tappan Zee bridge replacement chosen
From ASSOCIATED PRESS
Last Updated: 12:37 PM, December 17, 2012
Posted: 12:37 PM, December 17, 2012
New York State Transportation Commissioner Thomas Madison says the state will choose a $3.14 billion project to replace the Tappan Zee bridge in New York City's northern suburbs.

Madison announced that the state Thruway Authority is expected to approve the least expensive of three options when it meets later Monday.

Tolls for the heavily used commuter bridge between Westchester and Rockland counties are expected to nearly triple from the current $5.

The state is waiting on a decision from the federal government on a request for a loan that could cover $2.9 billion of the cost. The Obama administration rejected New York's application a year ago, but invited the state to reapply. That was viewed as a positive sign in Albany.

Triple the toll? Well my friends in NY State, been nice knowing ya

223 Tolls for the heavily used commuter bridge between Westchester and
Rockland counties are expected to nearly triple from the current $5.

If they simply shut it down for a month and observed how traffic patterns responded, I'm sure cheaper alternatives would become obvious.

With population and business fleeing NY, it may be more cost effective to just keep this bridge going for another 20 years, at which point there may be no need for it.

If you're just beginning to look into the use of dinosaurs for home defense and decoration, the dilophosaur is a good choice. The care and feeding requirements aren't quite as intensive as for velociraptors. The venom also produces victims that aren't quite as messy to clean up after. I would recommend starting with only two or three and then working your way up to a dozen or so.

Surprisingly, the dilophosaur gets along quite well with dogs and cats. Squirrels are another matter.
