ESPN Idiot: I Need To Know The Racial Bona Fides of RGIII

I mean, he's marrying a white woman, there are Rumors he might be a Republican... He just doesn't seem authentically black, not a real brother, not "on our side." This racial miscegenation business is very troubling, I tell you.

Ancient Chinese secret:

Seriously, should take no more than 8 minutes max on the stove.

1) put 1 cup of rice in a pan with a tablespoon of olive oil on low to medium heat. Toast the rice until it's slightly golden.

2) pour 2 cups of boiling water over it. Watch out for sizzling.

3) add some salt, stir and cover.

4) put flame on low.

Check at about the 6 to seven minute mark. Should be done in 8 minutes.

101 Rob Parker was a fucking hack forever in Detroit. He called Hank Aaron a coward over the Barry Bonds mess and got suspended for saying that a guy from State was in a fight when he was at church with his parents. 103 I've never heard Parker talk until I watched the clip, thinking maybe there was some context in it.

(There isn't.) (And searching is not helping.) (None of the stories about this have any context.) (How the fuck did this come up?) (People don't just cartoon-anvil that kind of crap into a sane conversation.) (Except when they do.) (Because they're not sane.)

Anyway, I didn't expect from the transcript that those lines were all delivered in a nervous-white-sissy voice.

But I should have.

But black Americans are unique in that there is usually no one in their line who went by the name having an origin in the old country. No one. There's a reason for that.

My original point was that present day blacks repudiate through immorality something which their grandparents coveted.

And, yes. The blog is still there though I feel that blogging is...superfluous., at least for me.

I didn't read it carefully, I must confess, but how is it possible to trace one's ancestry back centuries but not decades? If you don't know who Dad is, and Mom doesn't know who HER Dad is, that's pretty much the end of the genealogy project, isn't it?

I was a rabid football fan years ago, not so much anymore.

The game like society, has changed radically. It's become less of a sport and more of a venue for Correct-Think. (CT)
If a female announcer can add some insight into the game, great for her. If she's there just because of her gender, it's CT. If players are sincere about raising awareness about terrible diseases or people in need, let them express their views off-air, if it becomes only one or two causes that are highlighted by uniform changes,it's CT.
If rules changes are legitimately brought up by players, they should be addressed. If these changes are being promoted by other entities, it's CT.
The worst change in the game became the concept in announcing that "controversy sells". To a limited degree within some boundries, I agree.
The problem is that there are no longer any boundries.
Just like society, CT sucks.

334 What a burden it must be for black people to constantly tow the Rob Parker black line.

They don't. Talk to real black people (not the kind on TV) and they aren't all like that at all.

You know, we shouldn't fall prey to the line we all know is fake. They do not speak for everyone in the country who happens to be tan, no matter what they insist.

A big part of the problem I think is we don't go out and find black people where they are and challenge this bullshit, and we'd find a lot of them don't like this shit either. Our politicians, if the subject comes up at all, are more apt to apologize for it than challenge it. But much more importantly than them, the grass roots isn't out there challenging it. The politicians are useless anyway.

We have absolutely no voice and no presence in practically any aspect of black culture or in most minority neighborhoods. No way to even reach out to talk to them regardless of whether they vote for us. So they are more apt to believe what they hear. But that's not even really true.

Just like they presume to speak for everyone when they don't, we all accept that they get 90% of the black vote. But they don't. They get 90% of blacks WHO vote. Many are non voters too. 90% of blacks don't think like this bullshit racist sportscaster. We have voters out there, but we cannot find them and we have at the moment no means to reach out or look for them. We don't do turn out in those neighborhoods. We don't even try.

we all accept that they get 90% of the black vote. But they don't. They get 90% of blacks WHO vote.

And I'm not so sure that that's even true. Many of those votes are recorded in cities which are dominated by Democrat machines. Vote fraud is endemic.

If vote fraud were to magically disappear, we might find that 90% of black voters really don't vote Democrat. That percentage might be heavily padded with fictitious votes.

336 If vote fraud were to magically disappear, we might find that 90% of black voters really don't vote Democrat. That percentage might be heavily padded with fictitious votes. That's why the Dems are so scared of voter ID.

And I'm not so sure that that's even true. Many
of those votes are recorded in cities which are dominated by Democrat
machines. Vote fraud is endemic.

The 90% figure (98% for Obama) isn't from votes, it's from exit polls. Now you can argue that blacks feel pressured to tell a pollster that they will vote Obama. But even taking that into account, I'd say the black vote is at least 85-90% and for Obama around 95%.

338 Vote fraud is protected by law. Has been since 1980 or 81. RNC can not stop it.

339 OK, so why isn't this Parker fuck saying the same thing about Russell Wilson. Is it because he is a lost cause because he is a 'light-skinned' black who went to an $18,000/year private school in Richmond and married a smokin' hawt blonde white chick?

Now I live in Richmond and know that Russell comes from a stand up family and is strong in his faith and I have no clue if he is left or right. The way he and RGIII carry themselves, I could frankly care less. What I do know is that he is very much like RGIII....works harder than everyone on the team, first one in-last one out kind of guy, and wants desperately to win.

This is yet another example of stereotypical racist bullshit from the left. This Parker fuck is judging RGIII because he wears dreds, dates a white chick and thinks he is no 'part of cause'.....and yet ignores RW because he is lighter skinned and as already married the white chick.

Well FUCK YOU Parker....you and your racist sacks of shit.

340 335 "Mark Levin just mentioned that Frederick Douglass was a Republican, and married a white woman."

Things change. There were lots of black Republicans during reconstruction. Now there's only one, (I believe) Tim Scott... out of 286 elected representatives.

1 out of 286. Sheesh.

Posted by: logprof at December 13, 2012 08:32 PM (gBuIk)

341 I'm sure someone before me has noticed this, but apparently contemporary liberalism stands for two propositions:

1. It's OK for RGIII to marry the dude who plays nose tackle.
2. It's not OK for RGIII to marry a white girl.

OK. Just so we understand the new rules.

345 Why, isn't it wonderfully progressive of the ESPN guy to express essentially the same opinions that Sheriff Bull "Waterhose" Connor held almost 50 years ago? Ole Bull didn't think too highly of Republicans or interracial marriages either. And, like Jordan, he certainly thought that there was something called "authentically black" behavior that the darkies should adhere to, instead of doin' uppity things like getting an education and talkin' all fancy and actin' like a white man, like this damn football player does. Isn't that right, Jordan? You're Bull's brother under the skin, so to speak.

346 342 Sorry about missing your post up thread. Wilson actually married his high school sweetheart who started out at UGa and ended up in Raleigh. Russell is as stand up as they get. I saw him play a bunch in high school....hands down the best high school player I have ever seen. What kills me about these black journalists is that they only care about 'the cause'.... whatever the fuck that means. I guess we really know what that means....gangsta, multiple times a baby-daddy and devoted to the race baiting cause. Then you have guys like RGIII and RW who are leaders, smart, smart guys who are at the top of their profession who ate true role models, not just for the black community but for all young people and they get vilified because they aren't black enough. Fuck that. Just another gross example of the insane nature of the left.

But that's my point. If the black D vote was "only" 85% instead of 90-95%, that would be enough to change some election results.

352 Obnoxious comment of the night, regarding our ESPN friend: When you have succeeded mainly because you were black at the right time to be such, then to see a man achieve success while at the same time seeming to claim his blackness is nothing special to take note of is a direct personal threat to your continued gravy train.

But black Americans are unique in that there is usually no one in their line who went by the name having an origin in the old country. No one.

I know, I know, dead thread and all but on the off chance .... Not to take away from your unique experience, but it was actually rather common for names to be changed at Ellis Island. It was (not is, unfortunately) part of the great American crucible, a burning away that forged Americans out of a disparate population. Of course, the pre-1965 Black population could be said to have been fired (as in a kiln) hotter and finer than any of us. Stanley Crouch is a fine exponent of this line of thinking, btw.

Aposter above saidthat said his name bugs some blacks, like this asshole who can't even talk, is right. RGIII suggests the young man has a father and a grandfather who didn't run off and let a baby momma raise him. That pisses off those who come from dysfunction because it sounds so...so...so...so WHITE.

I'll add that what's really bugging that asshole is that RGIII is an articulate young man who doesn't want to play the racial spoils game. He wants his abilities and his character to speak for themselves. He is refusing to be a symbol of race. He'd like to be a symbol of excellence at his chosen profession.
Bugging asshole the most is that the kid has a mind of his own, thinks for himself, is bright. "Uh, oh, we got ourselves a bright one here, a bright black man who just might not do and say what we want him to. What we do about this? Tear the mfucker down, that's what we do. Make him look like he be a white-boy who just mighta voted for Romney or whatever. After all, he be goin' wid a white girl. He be wantin' to lift hisself up and look down on us."
This asshole has a big problem. He's praised RG for his smarts and now he's found out that those smarts might just have led RG to different political conclusions and to different behaviors than REAL black men ought to have. Uh huh....big problem...gotta tear him down.

This asshole should be fired by tomorrow. What a prick.

"Jeff Goldstein had it nailed over four years ago. Predicted that electing Obama would send race relations back thirty years, and it did."

And it's too bad. The POTUS had an opportunity to be a uniter, but he's done everything to divide the country along every line imaginable. Now, it's divide based on union versus non-union.

367 As always, the media only has the desire to create racial profiles instead of news.

Sports are suppose to be about "talent" "desire" and even "pride" but liberal dirtballs like this need to have a racial purity check before respect can be given.
The Race Baiters and Racist media must prove their liberal stupidity on a regular basis.

Can he swim? That's the real tell."

Hilarious...and true!

When I was going through Navy aircrewman school, I saw a shipmate of mine, who happened to be black, swim the mandatory mile swim.

He was not a swimmer. He would sink like a stone, but by keeping that forward motion going, he was able to stay within striking distance of the surface. This guy literally swam the whole mile underwater, struggling to the surface once in a while for a quick breath.

When he got out of the pool, I had to shake his hand. It is one of the gutsiest things I've ever seen. He REFUSED to give up!

370 The Society is sick, because teaching a common morality has become forbidden. It is not possible to rule a society with laws, it is only possible to maintain a functional society by maintaining a common morality. As Edmund Burke said:

The use of force alone is but temporary. It may subdue for a
moment; but it does not remove the necessity of subduing again: and a
nation is not governed, which is perpetually to be conquered.
