No, but neither do the Republican consultants. Rush went through this last week, noting how Steve Schmidt and Mike Murphy have a record of failure as consultants everywhere they go, yet they then turn around and blame everyone else for their failures.

And then we have this:

Mitt Romney's foreign policy adviser Dan Senor ripped Romney advisers and surrogates who asked for positions in a future Romney cabinet before the election but then slammed Romney publicly days after his defeat.

“They were talking about him because they believed he was going to win in four or five days," Senor said. "In fact, some of them were already talking to our transition to position themselves for a Romney cabinet.”

Though Senor did not name any names, he was speaking of those in what Pat Caddell has called the Republican "Consultant-Lobbyist-Establishment" complex. People in this permanent political class, Caddell said, are toxic and care more about making money and their own interests than the candidate they support.

“No presidential campaign should be run by consultants,” Caddell said. “They should be run by people who are committed to the candidate and not into making big money.”

Senor said he would not “mention their names,” but they were “talking about Romney like he’s Reagan" days before Romney's defeat.

123 Moustache cancer?

Posted by: Prothonotary Warbler (@ProthonotaryW) at November 25, 2012 02:21 PM

Movember is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com. The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."

By encouraging men ("Mo Bros") to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides getting an annual check-up, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of any family history of cancer, and to adopt a more healthful lifestyle.

Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand. In 2007, events were launched in Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Taiwan and the United States.

I think if you went up to them and said, "Hello young ladies, I'm incredibly wealthy and a bit lonely.", quite a few would follow you home.

Was in Biloxi back in the 2000's at a casino playing 4 card poker in between two fine young ladies who were on the Houston Texans cheerleader squad. They were there for some promo. At any rate I whipped out my wallet and started showing them pictures of my then infant son. Before I knew it I was surrounded by these beautiful, healthy, very healthy babes with the nicest elbows. Had I dropped dead then and there it would have taken the coroner a week with a crowbar to pry the grin off of my face. Babes love babes.

DiT: my compliments on the pic. The one in the middle can lean on me anytime.

134 Sprinklers on in Miami.

Posted by: Butters at November 25, 2012 03:04 PM (NIZHJ)

135 Hey navycopjoe - This is why I don't put my faith in sports teams, especially the Bears.

Tillman injured, Forte injured, 2 O-linemen injured. Looks like our season is just getting worse. Same downward spiral as last year.

And this is exactly why the Bears were correct to not give in to Forte on his high demands and were smart to go out and get Michael Bush. They knew RBs are injury prone. Sure enough, Forte is injured again. IF we didn't have Marshall, we'd be screwed.

As it is, if our O-line doesn't hold up, our season is over.

Posted by: Clyde Shelton at November 25, 2012 03:17 PM (vUK/h)

137 Someone should tell Lovie Smith and Rod Marinelli that you're supposed to have someone cover the opposing team's TE. How can we not see Kyle Rudolph going out on pass routes? Over and over and over again, the guy is WIDE.OPEN.

138 It never fails that the moment you look lovingly upon your cat, saying "Aww, my sweet boy." he will reflexively roll over and lick his ass.

139 Hahaha, just saw the replay of the 3rd down where Briggs DECKED Kyle Rudolph within the 5 yard area. Well, if we can't cover him, that's the way to make sure he doesn't catch the ball!

Technically, we have not been in 1st place since we lost to the 49ers. Green Bay holds the tie-breaker, since they beat us head-to-head. So we've been in 2nd place (and the #5 seed in NFC) since last week. Right now we have to worry more about keeping a Wild Card spot instead of worrying about the division lead. Especially since the Pack is supposed to get Cedric Benson back in time for the Bears game and will probably have Matthews back by then as well. Matthews is going to destroy our pathetic O-line.

Posted by: Clyde Shelton at November 25, 2012 05:18 PM (vUK/h)

152 "Technically, we have not been in 1st place since we lost to the 49ers."

Yeah, we're not going to win tonight though. Far to many injuries and problems with our offensive line also. The Packers will need a little time to work through the inexperience and injuries. I look them finishing out 3-3, maybe 4-2 with the loses coming tonight and in Chicago.

Posted by: Niedermeyer's Dead Horse at November 25, 2012 05:38 PM (piMMO)

154 True, or just funny fiction?? A 7 year-old boy caused quite a commotion in a Philadelphia courtroom when he challenged the judge and refused to allow any of his relatives to be awarded custody of him. His parents were stripped of custody because they beat him, but apparently so did his grandparents, aunts & uncles. In frustration the judge allowed the boy to suggest who should have custody of him. After two recesses and conferences with child welfare officials, the judge allowed the boy's request and so temporary custody was awarded to the Philadelphia Eagles, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone....
