| Kind of Cute: ESPN Lards Up Football Recaps With "Princess Bride" ReferencesVia @rdbrewer4. Why? I don't know. Still, I guess it's funny, if references are funny. Let's say more cute than actually funny.Comments1
This word you keep using, Offense, I don't think it means what you think it means.

I always liked to fuck with people about the whole spoilers thing.
Like when somebody would tell me about "Titanic:" "Then the boat hit the iceberg -" "WHOA WHOA, Spoiler Alert! Some of us haven't seen the movie yet!" And on that note, I've taped this season of Boardwalk and haven't watched it yet, so please: no spoilers . . . Posted by: The Q at November 14, 2012 05:44 PM (IgwTl) 33

I was laughing by the end of the clip. I was expecting a few lame references, but they actually worked them in pretty well ("COUS's [Corners of Unusual Size]). But some of the commenters have fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is, never get involved in a land war in Asia. Only slightly less well known is never talk bad about "The Princess Bride" when death is on the line!

i thought they did a good job working those references in. The brute squad could easily have been worked in, though.
