28 Today is the first day in many, many years that I paid my bills and gave nothing to charity. I went without for years to give to charity--I'm apparently the only person in the country without a smart phone, e-reader, or iPod (I've seen homeless people on tv with iPods hanging out of their heads, but I don't have one). However, on Tuesday the Free Shit Army voted to confiscate my money at gunpoint. They can have charity freely given in love, or they can have money that was confiscated at gunpoint. They chose the one, so they no longer get the other. In with the church envelopes was an extra one for the Hispanic poor--the church got paid, the Hispanic poor also chose to steal my work, so they get nothing.

Soldier seriously wounded, two other moderately injured after terrorists target patrol traveling near Karni crossing. Heavy fire exchange follows; Strip's medical source say four people killed, 20 injured

Latest Update: 11.10.12, 19:37 / Israel News

Three soldiers were wounded Saturday when an IDF force patrolling near Karni crossing was hit by terrorist fire. The military jeep sustained a direct hit by an anti-tank missile.

Two soldiers sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. A third was rushed to the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon in moderate condition.

The fire was identified as emanating from a location east of the Gaza Strip neighborhoods of Zeitun and Sajaiya. The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (PFLP) military wing have claimed responsibility for the attack.

IDF forces scrambled to the scene and a heavy fire exchange followed, with the IDF using tanks and machine-guns to neutralize the threat.

99 Can we not put this notion to rest? West did not win anything.

That site, on which they breathlessly proclaim West the winner has a picture of results taped to a wall. It shows both candidates with something like 66 thousand and change.

The early vote numbers were over 136 thousand. This might have been that tally.

Or it was one county.

Whatever the case, there were well over 300 thousand votes cast in this race.

West didn't win any recount, and he won't win any recount. Which means he has plenty of time to stir up whatever support he needs for a national campaign.

No reason to panic
Op-ed: Obama won't force Israel to divide Jerusalem because Bibi's wealthy friend funded Romney campaign
Hagai Segal
Published: 11.10.12, 15:01 / Israel Opinion

A number of days have passed since Obama's reelection, and Israel can breathe a sigh of relief. The sun still shines here, and the American flag still flies on HaYarkon Street in Tel Aviv. Despite the fears and warnings, Obama did not sever diplomatic relations with us an hour after the exit polls showed he was going to win the elections, and it is safe to assume that when he spoke of vengeance last week he was referring to Mitt Romney, not to Benjamin Netanyahu.

This is from an Israeli Newspaper and it just shows how many Israelis do not understand obama what so ever. Some still don't get it the he and his left wing ilk just don't believe in the concept of Israel and will as days go on screw Israel to the wall. Not because of some donor or Bibi, but because they believe in Moral Equivalence and can't seem to comprehend the difference between a carpenters nail and a suicide bomber.

Congratulations, Comrade! Again, congratulations.

120 I didn't get a thank-you from Romney, either. When evil George Bush ran, I got a Christmas card in 2000 from the Governor's Mansion. Those had to have been printed and addressed before he knew whether he won or lost. And I only gave Bush about $75, not the much larger amount I gave this year to Romney (not counting RNC).

It's a small thing, but that right there is a clue why Bush had and still has so many people loyal to him.

Unfortunately, those of us who are not being told these supposedly astonishing things can't know if they are true, because what we have seen over the last few years is a trend where journalists report "leaked" information that turns out to be blatantly untrue.

Most likely because the journalist and/or the leaker have no vested interest in being proven right over time, only in getting the story out first.

So we'll wait, and may never get the truth, or the truth turns out to be underwhelming.

300 Thanks, but I was prepared for the loss. Tuesday has made me a total pessimist.

301 AM girls are pretty hot as well, god I miss college.

302 We can still win the SEC though, boys. Get those chins up.

Posted by: toby928 for TB at November 10, 2012 07:16 PM (QupBk)

303 What was that, four pass plays from inside the ten they called there? Who the hell makes that call?

Posted by: Burn the Witch at November 10, 2012 07:17 PM (uD2fR)

304 There ya go. You gonna watch my guys tonight?

Posted by: teej says go K-State & delurks for cfb at November 10, 2012 07:17 PM (cWpCn)

305 You gonna watch my guys tonight?

Oh yes. I gotta go get Mrs928 some takeout seafood and restock with beer.

Posted by: toby928 for TB at November 10, 2012 07:18 PM (QupBk)

306 Johnny Manziel scooby doo'd a win here, if Optimus Klein is hurt the Heisman is his.

Posted by: Adam Smith's Invisible Pimp Hand at November 10, 2012 07:18 PM (NzBQO)

307 And KS goes up right away.

Posted by: toby928 for TB at November 10, 2012 07:20 PM (QupBk)

308 Damn, that sounds good. And who knows, Oregon and ND could still lose a game. And if they do, when Bama wins the sec with one loss you could still get in the big game.

309 Dethroned Alabama, seems the skies aren't always blue....

310 Damn, game started and I missed a K-State TD. Stuck listening to it on radio.
I wonder how Collin is looking. They said he hit Harper for a long one into the wind to start the game.

311 Dammit, get the ionosphere the hell of the air. Jeebers, I just heard the ref clear as a bell but the radio announcer sounds like a weak short wave connection.

312 We've learned three things tonight: 1) Johnny Manziel is the real deal, 2) A&M as a team is legitimate and belongs in the top ten, 3) 'Bama girls are a 9.0 on the Boner scale.

Posted by: Ernie McCracken at November 10, 2012 07:34 PM (ZETiK)

313 4) A little respect for that conference A&M came from.

316 So it's a Nebraska-Wisconsin Big Ten Championship then.

317 WHOOP!

Posted by: Dumn Aggee at November 10, 2012 09:00 PM (+MyDQ)

318 23-0 at the end of 3. K-State needs to drop 3 scores on em in the 4th.

319 One could say that KS has put in a dominating performance.

Dave, I might be late to the party on this one...but have you addressed the new Dallas Mavericks Dancers's uniforms yet?

If not, I think you need to do some research on this. I realize that football season is still in full swing, but there may be may be a huge story here. Involving possible nudity. Potentially. At. Any. Given. Moment.
Some say that Mark Cuban is a dick. Some say he's a genius. Some may never go to a Mavericks game to watch basketball ever again.
