A judge has now ordered them to cover the mural.

The poll workers, you see, didn't see any problem with this. A judge's order was required to make this happen.

They've Kind of Just Ignored The Judge, Left The Obama Symbol Displayed: Holy crap.

Just back from voting in my 2x4town. A steady stream, very efficiently handled. I live in NY, so I doubt that the state will flip, but the turnout (according to the totals recorded on the machines) has been double the last national election.

In time, I suspect, we WILL flip this place.

Just finishing up lunch, by actual count I have transported22 voters to the polls, all Rs, and have some more scheduled by the local R staffers, maybe about a dozen or so for the afternoon. Every time I get to a poll, I do a quick check, the turnout is very high here in SW Oakland County MI, at least the spots I have seen.

I think this is good. Very good.

Finally this is military country. It is quite common for for students to select military duty over college. The roots of the militia and the minute men are still here. Obama's apologizing to foreign princes and his anti military actions have raised eyebrows and ire from Allentown to Erie. Benghazi was a final straw proving his ineptitude and vacillation is deadly and perhaps cowardly.

He has revealed himself and the picture isn't pleasing to most Pennsylvanians.

Romney will win here if the election is mostly honest.

I went back to the polling place at lunchtime, there still were no donk signs at all, no donk staffers handing out literature. Weird. I'm in a mainly blue collar ward. Although some donk operative did pull out all the FREE AMERICA FIRE OBAMA signs that lined the main road for the past month or so. Even from people's lawns. Bucks County and Chester County will go GOP this year, Delco and Montco will be tougher.
Philly is not all deep blue, there are neighborhoods that vote Republican outside the inner city. So maybe PA going red this year is not such a long shot.

It's Carl's Jr. in CA and out West. So, Hardee's has the same star logo, but I've never seen the resemblance between the food items served at the places. They have things as a Hardee's that they never had at a Carl's Jr.

Yeah it was bad advertising, just nasty looking to me too.

The best local place is called Burgerville and they are really, really tasty. Unfortunately the city I live in really annoyed the owner of the chain and he won't put a franchise in town now.

Subway is just bad. Its not inedible, its just a mystery to me how they can make 800 different sandwiches all taste exactly the same.

Just got back from saving the Republic.
Ballot number 325 in my little slice of Cuyahoga County. Usually whenI vote in a regular election (non preezy) my ballot number is anywhere from 70 to 90. Last time when I voted for Palin/McCain it was 165 (if I recall) I vote about the same time (230 to 300pm) all the time. Lots of middle class (mid range) in the area and of course older folks. Signage in the area is majority Romney. This ward went Obama last time. I dont think he has a snowballs chance this time here. Housing prices down 30-50k on houses that were up around 275k 4 yrs ago. The whole area is fed up FWIW.

Having been born and raised in Ohio, I really like Wendy's, but since moving to Missouri in 2009 I've discovered Culver's and they are pretty good too.
Also, I'm a hardcore Conservative and I drink Pepsi. I was raised on it and now I drink Pepsi One simply because it's the only diet pop that I can stand and it doesn't have aspartame.

Really? The wife and I were just overin that area at Rib City on Sunday and I don't remember seeing it. Of course we live in North County so it's not like it's really that much closer, but we are in the Chesterfield area a lot because our church is there and the wife works at our church.

A friend who lives in Philly said that the helpful poll worker showed her how to use the voting machine by punching all the Democrat buttons and saying "Like this". He then stepped back so the voter could enter the curtained voting booth, but stood right behind the voter.
My friend said that if she had switched the votes to Republican, the poll worker would have easily known, because he would have heard her pushing the buttons, and observed the delay in voting.

She thought it was funny, since she is a big lib and was voting for Obama anyway.

Me, I didn't think it was funny at all.
