Buried Bombshell: CBS Video Shows Obama Refusing To Call Benghazi A Terrorist Attack...On September 12th

Obama did an interview with CBS' Steve Kroft on the night of September 12th and the first question is about why he didn't call it terrorism in his Rose Garden statement that day.

As Fox News' Brett Baier points out
, that directly contradicts Obama's pre-planned statement during the second debate with Romney. You know, the one where hacktastic Candy Crowely vouched for Obama's lie.

Do you think CBS, the official network of fake Texas Air National Guard memos, would have sat on this if they could have shown Bush lied his ass off in a debate?

Bias? What media bias?

33 I see the Network News media and Hollywood entertainment industries as much harder nuts to crack.

Actually, I think these problems will both be solved by unintended consequences. In the case of the network news, they are obsolete. Only a very old demographic watches them, as you can see by who advertises on them. Biology will eventually cure the problem. Younger folks have never developed the network news habit.

As to HWood, the advent of cable and home theaters is starving them of their revenue stream. If you're over about 50, many of you never even think of going to a theater any more. There isn't nearly as much money in Redbox.

50 yeah ... Barky caught triply purple-lipped in his outrageous and intellectually offensive lies about Banghazi.

Won't make a difference. Barky and the treasonous dems are totally impervious to reason, language, or common sense. Everyone knew that Barky and his admin had gone out of their way to claim it was all due to the Innocence of Muslims video (which was very good and funny, BTW) and the guy who worked with it is STILL languishing in jail (I guess he's lucky that Barky hasn't decided to ship him off to Egypt). There were headlines about just that idiocy all through the weeks that his junta was pushing the bullshit story. People were arguing that he and Cankles and that dipshit Rice were being treasonous shits in deflecting the story. Everyone knew what they were doing and the junta never even tried to refer to that joke line in the Rose Garden retard-speech. But, none of that matters because Barky and his junta just lie out their asses about everything and then accuse everyone else of being liars (just as ol' mo did, BTW).

This 60 minutes piece is nice but doesn't change anything. It won't change what oturageous liars say. They are, after all, just outrageous liars and were never constrained by the chains of truth or reason. It won't change what idiots who ever took them seriously think, because those sorts of people are too fucking stupid to be affected by truth or reason.

I can tell you what Barky and his junta would say about this, "The Precedent called it terrorism at the Rose Garden speech and was working through lies fed to him by the military, CIA, and everyone in government who is constantly trying to sabotage the reign of the first black Executive." Something to that effect.

This. Sharyl Attkisson has been doing a damn fine job trying to actually report NEWS, even though her network has thrown up every block imaginable to prevent what she finds from making it to the air. I'd say of the big three - ABC, NBC, CBS -- CBS is actually the one with the LEAST appalling record in regards to this Preezy. They aren't angels, and they're going to expire soon, just like every other fossilized piece of excrement in the MFM, but the worst by far is NBC (and by extension MSNBC). Get rid of them first.

Could be, but if I'm not mistaken the D numbers are down from early voting four years ago and the R numbers are up, and I believe that in those states Yosemite Sam actually got more voters than Jugears on Election Day. Tea Party in the Streets

Conservative groundwork could push Republicans to victory in 2012

By Andrew Evans

The Determinators, a new documentary produced by the Tea Party Patriots, is hitting voters’ mailboxes in a sign of the vigorous and sophisticated grassroots organizing presence of outside conservative groups.

The Tea Party affiliate sent out 360,000 copies of The Determinators to “undecided households in key states,” according to the Patriots’ website, along with a copy of the Constitution.

“We wanted to make sure that people in the country understand why we are concerned about the healthcare law and the choices that our country has this election as far as the future of our country goes,” Jenny Beth Martin, Tea Party Patriots cofounder, told the Free Beacon.

The Patriots followed up on the documentary by calling those households, Martin said.

The documentary is part of a larger effort by the Tea Party Patriots and many other conservative groups to increase voter turnout.

Martin explained that the Patriots have more than 3,500 local groups. The central Patriots organization serves as the support organization for these local groups.

Jackie Bodnar, press secretary for FreedomWorks, said that the “bottom up-structure” of the conservative grassroots movement distinguishes it from liberal organizing efforts.

CBS is definitely not the worst, although they are pretty annoying.

NBC is by far the worst, hands down. They have a script and they keep to it, come Hell or high water. Al Sharpton on a major network? Really?

I caught some of CNN in the days after Benghazi, and they did seem pretty upset about the whole thing, and determined to "get the truth out".

And then they went quiet, because......SHUT UP! Somebody up top shut that noise down, because the Obama Regime told them to.

I have a clue for you. The truth about what happened that day in Benghazi will NEVER come out. We will get dribs and drabs, and somebody may push together all the pieces and puzzle it out, but there will never be a wholly truthful narrative from either the government or the major news organs.

Posted by: Reader C.J. Burch writes..... at November 05, 2012 10:21 AM (RFeQD)

131 Delenda est!" Is correct. How do we go about doing this? I understand the newspapers will be wiped out by the internet, but I see the Network News media and Hollywood entertainment industries as much harder nuts to crack.

Harder nuts to crack is right. But the good news is it's already started. Has anyone else noticed the sudden influx of celebrities voicing their political opinions that are NOT speaking the party line? Maybe they aren't spouting conservative principles, but they ARE speaking up. What we have to do is support them, engage them in positive ways that respect their attempts to break out of the cognitive dissonance in which they're cocooned, and show them that we'll boost them up if the regressive media establishment tries to beat them down.

What keeps a lot of closet conservatives quiet is fear, pure and simple, and there's a lot to fear in the fickle atmosphere of Hollywood. Not everyone is an Angelina Jolie or a Brad Pitt, making multiple millions on every picture and in little fear of being passed over for work. For a lot of Hollywood -- not just actors, but writers, directors, producers, etc -- speaking up with an unpopular viewpoint will get them blacklisted, and their income will disappear. They have families to support, just like everyone else; it's a very scary prospect.

"Let them get another job," we might say, but that's not what we want. What we want is for these closet conservatives (or even conservative-sympathetic liberals) to stay in Hollywood, write their screenplays, direct and star in their films, and break the leftist hegemony that's dominated the entertainment industry for decades. Abandoning Hollywood -- or New York, or Chicago, or any of the other entertainment meccas in this coutnry -- to the regressives does our side no good, and in fact gives us a world of hurt. That's what got us into this mess in the first place. "Oh, let them play their silly make-believe games while we do the REAL work." After forty years of near complete domination, those chickens are finally coming home to roost (some of them badly fucked, but I digress).

What we have to do is foster an environment that destroys that cloud of fear. We need to show that there's a market for material outside of the leftist paradigm. And not just a market -- a HUGE market. We need to stop feeding the regressive Hollywood machine, stop seeing the movies that spew their leftist bile, and start giving our support to those films, TV shows, and even literary works that promote not just our own way of thinking, but that promote an open and free exchange of ideas. THAT'S what's missing in Hollywood. If you don't speak the party line, you're anathema. It's time to put an end to that.

154 Benghazi--it was only a matter of time.

When Obama first came to office--he took months to make a critical decision about Afghanistan.

He wanted to take time to study it, do focus groups, debate the issues and who knows what else.

The American people had elected a President with zero foreign policy experience, who picked Joe Biden to reassure people. A President who picked a Secretary of State--with little experience.

In the best of conditions it took that team months to make a decision--and then when they finally did make a decision it was only after Obama's hand was forced.

After leaks, after open letters to the American public and finally after one of his own generals--McChrystal had to corner the Commander in Chief while he was on Air Force One on a tarmac overseas.

President Obama had been riding on luck, rolling the bones and then--

Benghazi happened.

Obama and his team--including one National Security adviser with the resume of a fund raiser and lobbyist-- had to make a quick and decisive decision and more importantly commit to that decision.

Robert Gates was gone--and it was pure team Obama.

Obama's luck ran out--but also four Americans --

Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Ambassador Stevens, and Sean Smith were sacrificed and given up because of Team Obama's crippling indecision.

Probably many more Americans have died because of that--but the press never shows you their names or faces anymore.

America's military almost forgotten by everyone--but still out there fighting.

No. These are their enthusiastic voters. On Tuesday they run dry.

If you want to be cheered up with good data read this blog:

http://battlegroundwatch.com/

This has made me FAR more believing that the polls are wrong and that GOP will kick ass.

Dems always win EV, but they don't manage to make on Tuesdays. They aren't winning all the EV's either.

Other thing, polling hates EV because it messes up likely voter screening.

They ask people if they have voted, and if they say they already have, they put them in the LV pool. But, think about this, people love to say they already voted, or watch the First Lady Debate, thus you have a bunch of people who are not LV but they are in the LV pools.

166 U.S. Navy hits shores of Belle Harbor to help victims of Hurricane Sandy
Several vehicles were unloaded onto the beach from a large landing craft, including two amphibious vehicles known as LARCs

Navy personnel showed up early Sunday morning to bail out flooded homes in Belle Harbor, Queens, in what residents said was the first help they’ve gotten from the federal government since Superstorm Sandy hit.
Several vehicles were unloaded onto the beach from a large landing craft, including two amphibious vehicles known as LARCs.
Chief Gary Evans-Murphy of Beach master Unit 2 said his crew of 29 would be in the neighborhood all day helping dewater homes.

Their initial orders were to pump out four specific housing units, but Evans-Murphy said he would skip bureaucratic red tape and help out however they could.
"I asked permission to go ahead and just help where we can, without too much coordination, too much paperwork," he said.
Relieved residents hailed the Navy’s arrival.
"This is the first sign (of help) and it's a week later," said Beach 126th St. Resident Jeanne Duffy, a nurse recruiter. "Oh my God, I'm so happy the Navy's here. It's been total devastation."
Some members of the Navy unit grabbed shovels and started digging out the wall of sand that landed in front of homes, like retired Con Ed worker Marty Lattanzi's house on Beach 127th St.
"If I talk any longer you're going to see tears," Lattanzi said. "I'm just so relieved."

Saying that a glass is half full or half empty is bias. Claiming that there is no glass or that some awful right-winger came along and stole it, that's dishonesty, and that is what the media engages in.

Yep.

Would have also been the right thing to do. Funny how doing the right thing might have allowed him to keep his job.

It's almost like a President who does his job is rewarded or something. So --- he decided to shirt his responsibilities before, during, and after the attack.

Great plan, Barack.

236 The greatest gift to Obama and the media was making this tragic farce all about One. Word. This nonsense about 'when did he say the word terrorism?' totally immediately took the focus off the big picture: 1. The embassy was left vulnerable. 2. Obama blamed it on a video. 3. Obama lied about it.

Mitt gave Candy the opening, and she squeezed through to protect the president. The media wanted to change the narrative on it, and Romney did it for them. Made it all about one word.

256 I received this email today. If you are praying people, please forward:

God Bless America:
"While the storm clouds gather far across the sea

Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free

Let us all be grateful for a land so fair
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer

God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies

To the oceans white with foam

God bless America
My home sweet home."written by Irving Berlin, 1918

Please pray for our country today and tomorrow. The power of prayer is like no other force:Heavenly
Father, please bless our nation. I pray that You will restore our
country to your integrity and goodness through godly leaders who extoll
their faith through their actions and words. I pray that our vote
tomorrow will raise the standard for morality in this country, lest we
never forget our founding principles. Thank
you for the right to vote, and let us never forget that privilege and
all the abundant blessings you have given us in a free country. I pray
that Christians and Jews will seek this privilege wisely tomorrow,
casting their vote to protect the unborn, the elderly, the disabled, our
military, our freedoms, our children and future generations of free
Americans. I pray America will always be a country to extend her hand to
those in need, to protect and assist those who need our help.
May
there be a force of righteousness in this prayer that will effect every
citizen and every element of government in our country, sending a
powerful message to our elected leaders and the world of who we are and
the values we stand for. These values have always been with us, and
forgive us for taking them for granted.I
pray the United States of America will continue to be a beacon of light
on the hill for the rest of the world. Please restore our place as the
land of freedom and economic prosperity through new leadership. Dear
Lord, please protect and bless our military in harm's way, as we owe
them our eternal thanks for their sacrifice. Please give them a
Commander in Chief who will protect them and serve them with honor.

I ask for protection, safety and strength for those we vote for tomorrow.Dear
Lord, please continue to protect and bless our country, and may we
please have one more chance to change the course of history with our
vote tomorrow. Thank you for all you have given us. In Thy name, Amen.

The
time has come to turn to God and reassert our trust in Him for the
healing of America...Our country is in need of and ready for a spiritual
renewal.
Ronald Reagan

Morons: Please forward this prayer if you wish. Blessings to you all, and may God continue to bless America.

Karl Rove, (I know I know) was on Fox. He said in 08, the JEF's led early voters by 10%. So in Iowa or Ohio, the JEF lead early voters. McCain won the election day vote, but could not overcome the huge lead of early voters.

In 08 the JEFs EV lead was 10%. In this election it is 5% or less. With that decrease in EV lead, even McCain would have won. If the EV is depressed, Romney wins

342 "Superstorm"? At one point they dubbed it a hybrid storm. I knew that couldn't be true, because a hybrid would have gone 96 miles and pulled over.

Now that NYC has firmly teased the idea that all reconstruction costs should be borne by the rest of the country, we may find some shocking news about the supposed bedrock under Manhattan. I know, ever since Louis Sullivan we've been taught that NYC was the birthplace of skyscrapers because it is solid rock, but with federal money dangling, it's a sure bet that the total immersion with seawater is going to be found to have caused a total-loss level of subsoil subsidence in hundreds of cases, particularly in buildings that weren't selling at the asking price.

Furthermore, the research and findings will continue for decades. Just watch.

lol!No worries, tasker! Lots of people, especially political junkies, are into the Dixville/Hart's vote. There are actually people from all over the country, and even the world, who show up for it. In a year as decisive and historic as this year, it's even more of a draw. So chin up!

376 I don't get why this is news? It isn't going to move the needle with anyone.

At this point I'm seeing this video as being less about m oving the needle in terms of votes, and more about moving teh needle in terms of impeaching this lousy motherfucker's ass as soon as the lame duck session begins. It's just more evidence of the categorical lying, prevaricating, and deception that Bammy and his "administration" have indulged in since September 11th.

*snort*

I expect most of the NYT's editorial staff will slit their wrists and join their brethren at MSNBC in the Dead Pool after TFG's epic loss tomorrow, so I think the survivors will just take this article, swap out "Carter" for "Obama" and "Reagan" with "Romney," then send it to print.

I keep asking myself this - how the fuck did the people in this country elect someone who is essentially a foreign national in all but citizenship to the WH? He's not an American by way of thought, views of the world and of America, or by any other qualification of what makes an 'American'. He would better fit in with the old Soviet Union than he does with a (supposedly) free people.

How could our Republic have become so corrupted that this could happen.

386 You know, a couple of weeks ago when Pat Caddell flipped out and called the media "the enemy of the American people" I kind of involuntarily cringed. It just sounds so un-American to call other Americans un-American, if you know what I mean. However, everyday and in everyway it becomes clearer and clearer that it is in fact the case. The problem becomes what to do about it. There truly needs to be a day of reckoning for these people in this world. I assume their reservations for the next world have already been made.

387 One of my neighbors showed me a shirt and said this is why he was voting for Obama - it showed Obama holding his little girl. I thought 'well that's cool'. Then I realized it didn't quite look right. 'I said show it to my wife - can I see it again?'

He wouldn't do it, so I called him on it - I said 'her picture was photoshopped in, wasn't it?', at which point he admitted it was photo-shopped (I'm sure he didn't do it himself). Why so desperate that you have to make up a lie?

I told my wife yesterday 'this is what we face - a cult of personality. He (neighbor) isn't voting because of what he his record or based on any sort of logic. It's a cult'.

This isn't a fucking game. This isn't a contest. These people who treat it as such piss me off.

A game or contest, when over, means everybody shakes hands and goes about their business.

In this case, if one side wins (Obama) everyone will lose. It will just take a few years for the loss to become obvious.

They are burying the lede:
"KROFT: Mr. President, this morning you went
out of your way to avoid the use of the word terrorism in connection with the
Libya Attack,

Check it out.
At that point , after the comma, Obama audibly
agrees. This was the edited version. There would be two full tapes: one of
Kroft asking questions, and one of Obama reacting and giving answers. That tape
would undoubtedly show Obama nodding and verbally agreeing.

399 I think it's impossible to predict at this point.

Romney's been a great candidate who only made one mistake, and his work ethic has been fantastic.

Romney seems to have last minute enthusiasm, on account of him being a great candidate and many hating Obama.

But there are a lot of socialist ninnies, the media's been in the tank even more than usual, and the Dems have the margin of cheating in their favor.

The erosion of Romney's numbers over the last week in both Gallup and Rasmussen's tracking polls (despite Rasmussen ticking up a point for Romney today, and Gallup showing a 1 point lead) is worrisome.

However you slice it, a 1 point lead is tight.

And the polls get crappier as fewer people answer the phone, so who knows how close they all are?

It could be tight as hell. Or maybe Romney will overperform his polls.

No way to tell really. No pointing in even trying to at this stage, except bragging rights.

Which side wants it more? Which side turns out?

We know the Dems want free stuff. They'll turn out to demand it.

Do Republicans, as a group, turn out enough to send a message and give Romney a mandate, or do too many of them get hung up on their pet differences on policy or equally bad, just assume their vote doesn't matter/they can't be bothered.

You know, they don't believe in this government thing and voting's kind of like that.

With both Rasmussen and Gallup showing a 1 point lead for Romney, and with Obama having a bit of an advantage on how the Electoral College map breaks down, the only smart bet is to assume it will be close, avoid complacency, and get out the vote.

Independents, for their part, will do their thing.
