Oh, My: Next (Taiwanese) Animation Makes It Official; Depicts Romney Pummelling Dunce-Capped Obama
The Onion, Jon Stewart Pounce on the Pigpile

Well, it's actually a schoolboy's cap with a whirligig on it (a propeller beanie, commenters tell me) but they intend it to be a duncecap. Or a schoolboy's cap.

They mean it in a bad way.

I won't give away the funniest part of the animation.

I'm liking the potential for a viral hit, here.

Via Nicholas Kronos and the Kronosphere.

Oh, No: And now, the Onion.

Following last night’s nationally televised presidential debate, President Barack Obama’s 11-year-old daughter Sasha reportedly asked her father why he was “acting like such a goddamned pussy up there.” “Daddy, how come you were being such a little bitch?” asked the sixth-grader, who told the president she was “genuinely worried” that maybe somebody had “cut Daddy’s balls off” right before he took the stage.

And Jon Stewart... is wondering exactly how smart Obama is.

This is bad.

There is the Gatekeeper Narrative and then there is the Real Narrative.

The Real Narrative is getting a little ugly for Obama.

Onion link via JammieWF.

Also Very Funny: "Ronnie Ferocious," Mitt Romney's punk-rock debate alter ego, at The Onion.

I linked this earlier. I think it's much funnier than the Sasha piece, which I don't think is funny at all. I didn't link that for the humor, but to establish the shifting pop culture narrative.

Neither Israel nor the US has the capabilities to obliterate Iran's atom program, he said, and a military operation against the country's nuclear facilities "would make a nuclear-armed Iran inevitable. They would just bury the program deeper and make it more covert."

106 The U.S. government paid a Chicago consultant hundreds of thousands of dollars to put on diversity training workshops that, according to one watchdog, included an exercise in which employees were told to chant "our forefathers were illegal immigrants."
Conservative group Judicial Watch made the claim this week as it released a handful of documents pertaining to the program -- and alleged that the sessions ended up enforcing political views more than promoting tolerance.
"Instead of being diversity-oriented or tolerance-oriented, it's more about adopting a mindset," said Lisette Garcia, a senior investigator with the group. "It seemed to go so far as to encourage illegal immigration."
Judicial Watch began to investigate the sessions earlier this year after being approached by a tipster at USDA who was "offended" by them, Garcia said. Judicial Watch claims it has identified at least $200,000 spent by the USDA over the last two years on the company Souder, Betances & Associates.

Even if it didn't destroy every hidden nuke manufacturing facility, a strike would still probably delay Iran's acquisition of a nuke for a few years, and that's worth something.

And even if such a strike didn't entirely remove Iran's nuke-making capability, it might still destabilize the Khomeinist regime to the point where it would fall.

There is a limit to what CAN be done to help Obama here.

Despite his reputation as a "great speaker", Obama is actually quite lousy speaking extemporaneously. He's just good at reading from a script.

He also can't defend a record that is effectively indefensible.

Obama might *LOOK* better next debate (and he probably will) but he's still going to have his ass handed to him by Romney.

The only reasons Obama didn't have his ass completely handed to him three times last election cycle was because McCain was being extra-polite (and IMO McCain still beat Romney last cycle, just not like last night's drubbing). Not only has Romney started with a "gloves off" attitude, but Romney actually has Obama's crappy record as POTUS to wave in his face, too.

188 Funny how this good news makes me revert back to some anger thatwe Republicans didn't nominate Romney in 2008. Would Romney have won? Don't know just as it may still be too close to tell if he will win for sure now but I would have liked our chances.

To me, Romney's competence has always been just as obvious as Obama's incompetence.

201 Damn that onion thing is hysterical.

I do think Romney actually held back a wee bit last night so he can save the bigger caliber rounds if needed, and I think he will up the horsepower over the course of the debates. Three debates...three level beat down. I think he will keep TFG off balance. All the left has is talking points, and they wore them out for the last 4 years. Romney probably has a dozen answers for each, and I think each has more gunpowder as you go down the list. Shit, from what I saw last night he thinks real fast on his feet. I don't care how obama practices, Romney has an arsenal of different types of ammo, and he'll just select what he needs for the task at hand. The dude is locked and loaded. Like shooting marxists in a barrel.

D+150,000 in 2008 (O won big)
D+60,000 in 2004 (Bush won)

If numbers keep trending down with R absentees rolling in, Iowa is yet another state where D "early vote" expectations bomb.

I see this debate being a MUCH bigger factor in the election than either of the Conventions. The Left is finally acknowleding that maybe Obama isn't some sort of god, and that's going to trickle down to the useful idiots that aren't going to be bothered with voting this time around.

Actually, Barky pretty much sucks shit reading speeches, too. He sounds like a junior high schooler when he's reading. He often doesn't know what the hell he's reading and usually sounds contrived when he's trying to inject some sort of emotion or feeling into it. Barky's TOTUSed speeches are pretty much all C- speeches, were he in any decent junior high school speech class.

About all Barky has is a half-decent voice. That's pretty much it. And his skin, of course, as Joe BiteMe and Hairy Reed have pointed out. There's nothing else there but a seething hate of America and everything we stand for.

There was no applause...no audience feedback...for him to feed on, last night.

221 @201 Romney knew what obama was going to say when obama managed to remember whatever it is he was going to say. That's because the lib talking points are floated ahead of time.

That being said, I think we were all surprised that Obama was going to run to clinton so hard. "Clinton was gud so will me." Romney was able to tap dance that one quite simply because, duh, you've been in office for 4 years, what are you talking about?

Bigger point is that Obama can't prepare. He doesn't have enough time. It's more like a lifestyle choice to be ready..

Basically, the problem is, Obama doesn't have fingerprints over his own presidency, so he can't really talk about it. He's done no work, so he has no idea what happened.

Which Romney can easily prepare for, IMHO.

They need to view the the 2008 Republican Town Hall debates as preparation, as those fuckers used every Dem talking point possible as questions for Republican candidates.

Have a line of pushy, obnoxious speakers like Gingrich get up and ask his position on Prop 8, gays in the military, Sandra Fluke, etc., until he can handle libtards without even thinking about it.

One refinery is all fucked up from a fire in the past few months. Another is undergoing maintenance and I believe a third is having a different sort of problem.

And they haven't built new refineries to help with demand, nor can they readily get gas from other states to meet Cali gas standards.

It all adds up to lower supplies of Cali's boutique blends than there is demand for them.

Republicans didn't nominate Romney in 2008. Would Romney have won? Don't

now but I would have liked our chances.

Even if.....Romney would've been the nominee in '08, I'll say again what I've said for years. Obama has been waiting in the wings and pegged by the Dems for a decade. If he wasn't elected 4 years ago, he would've at some point. We were going to have to endure this nightmare, regardless of whether he won in '08, or '12, or '16. So this could be another disaster for him, because being mean to Romney isn't going to play well, especially if Romney is as kind and genial as he was last night. And if an audience member asks a tough question, he will no doubt get mad at that questioner, which will also make him look bad.

Especially, the one with clinton, which is just insane--because ain't nobody hates clinton like us Okies, we knew how bad he and hillary were from the decades of him being Head Bubba in Charge of Arkansas. We had a huge lawsuit against Arkansas/Tyson Foods over chicken farms/slaughter/waste being dumped in one of the most beautiful rivers in the world. I am not a huge environmentalist, but, just plain wrong is wrong, at some point, the Tysons have enough profit. I will starve to death before I buy a d@mn thing with a Tyson label on it.

BTW, the happiest people on the planet when bj and hillary went to DC to do his Prezidentin and Predation, were the people of Arkansas. With Tyson money and the Arkansas mafia, there was no way to get him out of there otherwise.

325 Onion's Ronnie Ferocious

The funniest thing is how the world identified Romney's perfect gentleman debate demeanor and patience with Obama's on-air mental breakdown as the most effective "violence" against The Loser.

There simply is NO RETURN for Obama. None. Nada. Nichts. Zilch. Squat.

Even a "better" performance next time won't measure up to recover from the total self destruction that Obama committed on air last night. Obama made himself the butt of every joke and the target of public rejection and outright ANTAGONISM from all quarters, friend and foes. There is no recovery to power from that. Just ask Tiger Woods. Viewers are rooting against Tiger when he's competing. People no longer want to love Obama the Loser. People want to hate him for being the biggest loser EVER, still stuck on himself. Even if he wins re-election, everyone saw him naked as a jaybird without a clue last night, so his charisma's gone and the bitterness he promised if reelected "to keep fighting" dirty won't get any sugar coating. The world no longer accepts Obama's image as a brilliant orator and peace maker.

The threat to national security? Obama's remaining time fucking up, the mental patient clinging bitterly to the Oval Office whether "Present" on vacation or AWOL, accompanied by Congress.

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, uneducated voters will come to awareness before the election.

He was running ads on ESPN during LSU-Auburn, which only makes sense as part of a national buy because about 65% of the population of each state wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire.

That may actually be up to 80% in LA thanks to him and Salazar fucking with oil production in the Gulf, which produces a ton of offshore jobs and business for coastal communities which supply the rigs.
