Democrats' Platform: Really, You Didn't Build That, Unions Did

Amazing.

The Democrats’ convention platform endorses a slew of organized labor’s wishes and says unions “helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known.”

The platform, which was released Monday night, is a clear nod to labor unions. It endorses an increase to the minimum wage and strongly supports other labor laws, such as collective bargaining.

The platform goes on to talk about all the things unions have done over the years.

Democrats believe that the right to organize and collectively bargain is a fundamental American value; every American should have a voice on the job and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s work. We will continue to fight for the right of all workers to organize and join a union. Unions helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known. Their work resulted in the 40-hour workweek and weekends, paid leave and pensions, the minimum wage and health insurance, and Social Security and Medicare – the cornerstones of middle class security.

Not included in that list? Actually creating a single damn job.

Here's what the platform says about small business.

Small businesses employ half of all working Americans, and, over the last two decades, have created two out of three net new jobs. Democrats believe that small businesses are the engine of job growth in America. President Obama signed 18 small-business tax cuts to encourage with a tax credit to help pay for the cost of coverage. In 2014, the tax credit will grow and small businesses will be able to pool their purchasing power together to get affordable coverage.

We recognize the importance of small business to women, people of color, tribes, and rural America and will work to help nurture entrepreneurship.

President Obama and the Democratic Party are committed to continue cutting red tape for small businesses, helping them sell their goods around the world and access the capital they need to grow. This includes tax cuts for small businesses that make new investments, hire more workers, or increase wages.

First, can we go without one section talking about sub-sets of Americans? I guess not.

Note that small businesses owners didn't create the greatest middle-class ever, that honor belongs to unions and the government according Democrats.

All the talk of tax cuts and "cutting red tape" is nice and all until you look at their real actions....proposing to raise taxes on many small business owners by allowing the "Bush" tax cuts to expire for people making $250K and up and a little thing known as "ObamaCare" which is a huge tax hike and regulatory mess for many small businesses.

Note also the approach of Democrats to job creation....they'll give you a few hundred bucks in tax credits if you spend tens of thousands of dollars employing a new person. They actually think this is how the world works.

I hate when people say "there's no difference between the parties". That can seem true at times (like when big spending bills come up) but at the grassroots level there's a huge difference. Look at the people the Democrats will trot out...losers demanding more free stuff, people who see themselves as helpless victims who can't get out of bed in the morning without a government program, people who'd rather drag others down than try and climb up themselves and the rich people who pretend to care about them.

Contrast that with the mainly self-made people at the RNC who are proud of what they have created and people who admire them for their accomplishments and strive to be as successful as they are.

That's the real difference between the parties and it's what's going to make this week insufferable to watch.

Obama has been running ads that Romney will raise taxes on the middle class to "pay for tax cuts for the rich."

An AP article responds thusly:

"Romney denies that his plan to help the economy and reduce federal deficits will result in higher taxes for the middle class. But he has yet to provide enough detail to refute the claim. Obama's assertion rests on a study by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center."

The GOP can't refute a nonpartisan claim that we're going to raise taxes? Does Romney have an intern working on this message problem? Seems a tad important.

97 This platform makes me physically ill. What a bunch of festering, bloated, rotting leeches these people are. And I use the term "people" very loosely.

I don't believe for a second that the Dems believe unions are the best thing to happen to the working man, anymore than they believe that of small businesses. The Dems don't know how thefuck jobs are created and maintained, period. This is all about MONEY. The unions have been cutting off the moneystream to protest Obama's something or other (who the hell can keep track of the professional grievance mongers on the left?), and this is a blatant attempt to pander to them and turn on the money spigots again. Yet they release the platform while holding their convention in a frigging RIGHT TO WORK state. The irony, IT BURNS!

All the talk of tax cuts and "cutting red tape" is nice and all until you look at their real actions

And lets not forget, Drew, that if the Dems had their way, ALL businesses would be unionized, even mom and pop stores. You want to talk about adding red tape?

113 Democrats and The New Party are clearly in serious trouble. Rather than reaching out to independents and cross-over Republicans, they are narrowing their audience to the most dedicated of the dedicated. Unions are losing power and membership and the general public, not to mention simple math, have turned against them. Economics demands that they won't be coming back sans a Fascist takeover.

The Progressives shot their wad and lost. Now it's probably just a matter of Team Obama and the "leadership" scavenging as much loot from the diehards as possible before getting kicked to the curb.

Labor cartels. Their entire existence is based on monopolizing one field or segment of an industry. Companies producing goods or services are enjoined by numerous anti-trust laws that prevent similar behavior but not unions.

164 #145 In 1967 I flew to West Berlin to join my husband, who was then in the Air Force. I wore a suit, heels, and a hat. I was given a 3-seat row by myself which had removable arms so I could lie down and sleep. I had an ASHTRAY for smoking. I was given a full, hot meal with silverware and glasses for WINE.

And in the morning, when we were cruising down to Prestwick in Scotland, we were given a hot breakfast and HOT TOWELS to wake up.

I only fly British Air now when I travel to Europe. I like that they wear actual military-style uniforms and have excellent service. And I like the pilot talking in a British accent, which makes me feel like he knows what he's doing. LOL!

Great economic news for the donk convention:

Manufacturing another headache for U.S. economy

Manufacturing shrank at its sharpest clip in more than three years last month, while separate data showed exports and hiring in the sector slumped in another shot to the country's struggling economy.

August was the third month in a row of contraction in manufacturing, and firms in the sector hired the fewest workers since late 2009, according to an Institute for Supply Management survey on Tuesday.

193 Union membership in the private sector workforce is between 7% - 8%.

In actual numbers, public employee union members outnumber private sector union members. In many govt offices, everybody is a member of the union, even the management.

Unions have not only destroyed individual companies, they have destroyed entire industries. The steel industry for example. The auto industry. Most manufacturing. That's why the US economy is now driven by consumer spending.

If anybody in the world is trying to live in the past, it's the democrats. They want to return to the 1950's with every ounce of their being. Tax rates of 90%, check. Unions making unsustainable wage and benefit demands, check.

But the demographics of the 1950's are not coming back. Democrats are clicking their heels together furiously and shouting "There's no place like the past! There's no place like the past!" But it ain't gonna happen.

Unions are and were nothing but organized crime. The direct victims are the dues-paying rank-and-file. The beneficiaries are the leadership and organizers.

Their supposed accomplishments were in fact achieved by the muckraking progressivists. When the progressivists joined with the international socialists in their quest to bring heaven to earth no matter the cost in poverty, suffering, and blood, they retconned these accomplishments into the labor union "historical" narrative.

It's no surprise that they lay false claim to other advances as well.

Their idea is the indie bookstore or coffee shop, or the fair trade hippie grocer, or the tony restaurant that serves their elite, but what they especially have in mind is the small law firms

It's certainly not the small machine shop or the trucking company attempting to grow from two trucks, nor the construction company that isn't big enough to bribe the hacks

My nephew was made shift manager, made enough money to cover his college living expenses, and gained job experience and experience supervising teen aged employees.

btw, sunny-dee, check out the typical work week for the working class before organized labor. The right to strike was no right, either. Give credit where it's due. During the early 20th Century the working class used to labor 10-12 hour days, more often than not six days a week with every member of the family working -- whether farming or urban factory -- barely making ends meet. The mercantile factories where women and children worked were horrendous, as were the slave conditions in the mines and steel factories. 288 Are they really an important source of our problems?

Yes.

Other Morons have already schooled you on the issues surrounding unions and private industry, but I'm going to expand on the issues surrounding unions and the PUBLIC sector.

Unions have ruined the public sector, and it was never much good to begin with. It's virtually impossible to fire a bad government employee now without having to go through miles and miles of red tape. This is what leads to the "rubber rooms" and "round robins" for bad teachers who can't be fired but can't be in the classroom either. This is why the idiot behind the counter at the DMV can smack her gum and chat with the guy at the registration desk while you stand there turning purple with rage waiting for someone to take your license photo. This is why municipalities are going bankrupt, as they're forced to pay bloated pension packages on top of overpriced salaries and benefits for current employees, all thanks to "collective bargaining agreements."

And who does the bargaining? The unions and the politicians. Nowhere in that process is the TAXPAYER allowed at the table. You'd think the politicians who depend on the taxpayer for votes would stand up for their constituents - but you'd be wrong. Because the politicians are dependent on the UNIONS for their campaign coffers. So the taxpayer gets the shaft every. Single. TIME.

Unions are VERY MUCH a problem in this country right now.

Now please go away. It's tiresome trying to reason with your Paultarded ass.

Posted by: The littl shyning man at September 04, 2012 12:14 PM (PH+2B)

290 Are they really an important source of our problems?

A fundemental, perhaps the fundemental, thing about being unionized is never getting punished for incompitence.

No docked pay, no fired. Job for life. Your right.

You put this mentality into our schools and you get teachers who can't be fired, infinite fuckups getting payed $80k+ a year to sit in a rubber room, or get handed around from school to school, fucking up kid's education and possibly hobbling them for life as idiots too far behind to catch up.

These people, who's education got cut to cover a pension plan, cannot understand complex thoughts and vote for democrats.

Put this mentality into our law enforcement, and you get a giant civil rights violation. Ill-suited dickheads with anger problems and a napoleon complex can't get fired, practically no matter who they shoot it's a payed vacation.

A cop can flagrantly violate people's rights, and there is no punishment for him or accountability ever, because unions are fundementally against punishments for incompitence or rewards for merit. They operate on loyalty and seniority, those are the values being maximized.

Without accountability, bad cops are tolerated and protected, and our police forces become culturally corrupted.

The progressivists did not join with the unions until much later. When they allied, the muckrakers who had gone socialist by then rewrote history and retroactively credited the labor movement with their own accomplishments.

This is how Taiwan became rich.

They also have a special phrase for not having time for loafing around and shit..."not enough American time" i.e. our military had week-ends off, and clocked out at 5, while the industrious Taiwanese would work 7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day.

Its called getting ahead.

Now granted, I think this works best when you are a poorish country, and once you get rich enough week-ends actually stimulate the economy by adding consumer activities.

True this. In New York, I believe, you're forced to become on member of whichever union is calling the shots on being hired. In California, you don't actually have to join the union, but they still take dues from your pay.

If unions are so f'ing great, then clearly workers would be flocking to join them....they're not. Without laws mandating union membership, in this day and age, I don't believe they'd exist anymore.

341 An objective of appealing to politicalfactions is rife with problems and is what was discussed in great detail within the Federalist Papers.
Political appeal should be based on that which transcends division and that which binds us as Americans who uniquely flourish under the construct of a document engenderingliberties and the right to pursue our individuality.
Yes, we are in perilous times and while much of history is marked bysuch peril, never before was it marked by a killing 10,000 babies a dayunder legal authority.With1/6 of the economy reordered under a federalstatute (Obamacare) thatwas a fraud yet, now law forcing religious institutions to go against the primacy of their ownbelief systemsconcerning the killing of babies insidea mother's womb. This is dangerous to our sensibilities and our humanity as the ultimate guaranteeof base freedoms has been eroded with nary a peep from the media.
75 million babies have been killed inside the wombe sinceabortion became legal in the early 1970's.
My question to you is: Do you think theCreator whowe acknowledge as benefactor of our inalienable rights as propounded in the Constitution, isnot affected by such moral decay?
Obama is the gift to a countrywho has embraced a pathe of debasement.
However, this is also leading to a new found cohesion among Christiansin this nation which lest we forget was established in its primacy by those who weren't merely deists but those who understood the unique spiritual aspect of divinity andliberty. This is why prayer was conducted before and after every conclave and assemblyand why our money is stamped in God We Trust.
My dear morons,we must understand our history as the newly minted liberal mind is one of arrogance and one which forebears the truth at all costs as justification to implement the means to achieve a consolidated super-state where power is king and benefactor.

New York Times Proves Clint Eastwood Correct -- Obama Is Lousy CEO

A New York Times front page story today — New York Times! — might have killed President Obama’s re-election hopes.

The story is called “The Competitor in Chief — Obama Plays To Win, In Politics and Everything Else.” It is devastating.

With such a title, and from such a friendly organ, at first I thought Jodi Kantor’s piece would be a collection of Obama’s greatest political wins: His rapid rise in Illinois, his win over Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries, the passage of health care, and so on.

But the NYT piece is not about any of that. Rather, it is a deep look into the two outstanding flaws in Obama’s executive leadership:

How could there be? For is this not the party who supports partial birth abortion? Did not Mr. Obama support late term abortion and the right of the mother to terminate the baby in the event the abortion failed and the baby was completely delivered alive?
You may think this abortionis a pedestrian political discussion but it is the roadwork to where we are now and to the horrors in political / engineering that await usin the progressives' super-state, wherethe individual is soluble to the continued attainment of power.
Why is Christianitybeing railed against by the progressives?
Because it recognizes individual liberty and is thus at odds with a collectivist state.

Best part of that Forbes/NYT piece:

2. How he spends extraordinary amounts of time and energy to compete in — trivialities.

For someone dealing with the world’s weightiest matters, Mr. Obama spends surprising energy perfecting even less consequential pursuits. He has played golf 104 times since becoming president, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News, who monitors his outings, and he asks superior players for tips that have helped lower his scores. He decompresses with card games on Air Force One, but players who do not concentrate risk a reprimand (“You’re not playing, you’re just gambling,” he once told Arun Chaudhary, his former videographer).

His idea of birthday relaxation is competing in an Olympic-style athletic tournament with friends, keeping close score. The 2009 version ended with a bowling event. Guess who won, despite his history of embarrassingly low scores? The president, it turned out, had been practicing in the White House alley.

Kantor’s piece is full of examples of Obama’s odd need to (a) dominate his peers in everything from bowling, cards, golf, basketball, and golf (104 times in his presidency). Bear in mind, Obama doesn’t just robustly compete. The leader of the free world spends many hours practicing these trivial pursuits behind the scenes. Combine this weirdly wasted time with a consistent overestimation of his capabilities, and the result is..

395 The Democrat Party has removed a section of its 2008 Party Platform in the 2012 version recently released online -- some key language in expressing support for the state of Israel.
Below is the section missing from the 2012 document (h/t Republican Jewish Coalition, @RJCHQ) :
The United States and its Quartet partners should continue to isolate Hamas until it renounces terrorism, recognizes Israel's right to exist, and abides by past agreements. Sustained American leadership for peace and security will require patient efforts and the personal commitment of the President of the United States. The creation of a Palestinian state through final status negotiations, together with an international compensation mechanism, should resolve the issue of Palestinian refugees by allowing them to settle there, rather than in Israel. All understand that it is unrealistic to expect the outcome of final status negotiations to be a full and complete return to the armistice lines of 1949. Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.
Each of these items is crucial to Israel, and all have been key areas of contention for those who believe this President has not been friendly to the Jewish State.

Best part of that Forbes/NYT piece:

2. How he spends extraordinary amounts of time and energy to compete in — trivialities.

For someone dealing with the world’s weightiest matters, Mr. Obama
spends surprising energy perfecting even less consequential pursuits. He
has played golf 104 times since becoming president, according to Mark
Knoller of CBS News, who monitors his outings, and he asks superior
players for tips that have helped lower his scores. He decompresses with
card games on Air Force One, but players who do not concentrate risk a
reprimand (“You’re not playing, you’re just gambling,” he once told Arun
Chaudhary, his former videographer).

His idea of birthday relaxation is competing in an Olympic-style
athletic tournament with friends, keeping close score. The 2009 version
ended with a bowling event. Guess who won, despite his history of
embarrassingly low scores? The president, it turned out, had been
practicing in the White House alley.

Kantor’s piece is full of examples of Obama’s odd need to (a)
dominate his peers in everything from bowling, cards, golf, basketball,
and golf (104 times in his presidency). Bear in mind, Obama doesn’t just
robustly compete. The leader of the free world spends many hours
practicing these trivial pursuits behind the scenes. Combine this
weirdly wasted time with a consistent overestimation of his
capabilities, and the result is..

Surreal

So it's not Democrat "leadership" pushing this issue, but Democrat "grassroots" who believe that Republicans should be disenfranchised. Nice.

This is why I no longer believe that anyone who votes Democrat has any redeeming qualities. Their allegiance is to a party made up of individuals who believe that, because I disagree with them, I should have no voice in running the country. If they can ally with such, then they must be okay with that idea- which means they view me as sub-human.

The husband is obviously a whipped punk. There's no way this is the first incident of her shitting all over him and him just accepting it.

Anyone who commits vote fraud or interferes with the delivery of ballots should be executed, without exception. That's a crime that strikes at the very core bedrock of the system. Its worse than murder. Its worse than terrorism. It mean the perpetrator doesn't have the right to breath the same air as other citizens do.

There are some crimes that are simply unforgivable under any circumstances. This is one of those.

487 Democrats believe that the right to organize and collectively bargain is a fundamental American value;

The idea of a closed shop - which is really what they are talking about, here - is a decidedly un-American value ... and anti-American one, in fact. The idea of forcing the owner of a company to allow an unrelated organization to take over bargaining for all emplyees - which is what the deceptively labeled "collective bargaining" really means - is a decidedly un-American value. The idea that wage earners are further entitled to any say in the operation of a company they don't own is a decidedly un-American value.

Unions are shit. They know they're shit which is why they can't label their ideas correctly but, instead, have to use fake labels that describe things that they do not pursue. If 5 employees or potential employees choose to bargain as a unit, then fine. But they cannot impose anything on the company, only on themselves. If the company wants to bargain only with individuals, in individual contracts, then the 5 have to take their "business" of begging a producer for a wage somewhere else.

I don't know how the idea of a closed shop ever made it through our courts. It is un-Constitutional insanity writ large. The idea that this ridiculous notion ended up applying to government workers takes it past un-Constitutional insanity to the realm of purely depraved governmental savagery.

501 A federal judge on Tuesday ordered state prison officials to provide a taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery to a transgender inmate serving life in prison for murder.
U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf ruled in the case of Michelle Kosilek, who was born as a man but has received hormone treatments and lives as a woman in an all-male prison. Robert Kosilek was convicted of murder in the killing of his wife in 1990.
Wolf is believed to be the first federal judge to order prison officials to provide the surgery for a transgender inmate.
Kosilek first sued the Massachusetts Department of Correction 12 years ago. Two years later, Wolf ruled that Kosilek was entitled to treatment for gender-identity disorder, but stopped short of ordering surgery. Kosilek sued again in 2005, arguing that the surgery is a medical necessity.
In his ruling Tuesday, Wolf found that surgery is the "only adequate treatment" for Kosilek's "serious medical need.

In my world, murder and terrorism are a whole bunch worse than throwing away someone else's ballot. With the latter, there are simple remedies. With killing someone else, there is no way to bring that person or persons back, so that's when execution is appropriate.

The lady should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, YES!, but don't equate this act with something much more serious.

Let's go through some of these:

1) "... right to organize and collectively bargain is a fundamental American value..."

Which is it? A "right", or a "value"? "Fundamental"? Not really. "American"? Nothing especially American about it.

2) "... every American should have a voice on the job and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s work. ..."

"A voice"? What can you say, except, "Spoken like a bunch of socialists"! It's the business owner's company; why should YOU have a "voice", in any kind of legal sense?

3) "We will continue to fight for the right of all workers to organize and join a union."

By which youmean you will "continue to fight to deny workers the right to NOT join a union"and you will continue to try to destroy communities and states with public service unions.

4)"Unions helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known. [etc]"

Sowe were taught by our public union employee teachers! But it's not really true, and - if anything -that "security"results in the lion's share of people feeding off the others like parasites.

Also prevents legally-resident foreign nationals from voting, provided the law doesn't allow university or consular ID cards to be used as proof of identity.

The driver's license of a legally-resident foreign national in Indiana is marked with a restriction that states the driver is not a citizen. When you get naturalized, you have to get a new license.

577 Screwing with voter registration also preps the battlefield for legal challenges. Rolls full of fictional names that cannot be checked ensure that it's harder to fight claims of disenfranchisement.
If you have 1000 registered voters, and you add 100 more names to the roles that are fictional, then you have a 10% increase in voters. If those names are fictional, then when someone tries to vote under one of those names, they either are allowed to, thus giving one candidate an illegal vote, or they are denied, in which case you sue.

last two decades, have created two out of three net new jobs. Democrats
believe that small businesses are the engine of job growth in America.

Democrats believe that the right to organize and collectively bargain is
a fundamental American value; every American should have a voice on the
job and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s
work. We will continue to fight for the right of all workers to organize

days, more often than not six days a week with every member of the
family working -- whether farming or urban factory -- barely making ends
meet. The mercantile factories where women and children worked were
horrendous, as were the slave conditions in the mines and steel
factories."

Propaganda, propaganda. The era of "robber barons" was a myth, created by populists and socialist demagogues using gross exaggerations and lies.

Example 1: America's antitrust laws were vomited forth in this time period on the basis of such lies and half-truths, and remains one of the most stupid, wide-ranging, and unjustifiably harsh sets of competition law in the world. The federal courts have had to deliberately redefine numerous elements just so commerce would continue to work in the United States.

Example 2: "Predatory pricing" was a driving justification of these kinds of laws at both the federal and state level. But it never, ever, anywhere manifested as a serious problem. Actual cases of predatory pricing were few, far between, and tended to backfire. It remained in the courts only as a way for small competitors to extract concessions out of big companies with threats of litigation.

586 In my world, murder and terrorism are a whole bunch worse than throwing away someone else's ballot. With the latter, there are simple remedies. With killing someone else, there is no way to bring that person or persons back, so that's when execution is appropriate.

Please tell me what that remedy is. The absentee ballot is in the trash. It was not counted. The returns are in. How can this be remedied? Had the election gone the other way because that one vote was not counted, how can this be remedied?

Tampering with the vote is the worst possible crime any person can commit in this country. It attacks the very foundation of our system of government especially since the federal government operates far beyond the limits of its charter. Without the integrity of the vote, we have no rule of law and are effectively living in the might-makes-right jungle. If enough people reach this conclusion, civilization as we know it will end.

599 Democrats' Platform: Really, You Didn't Build That, Abortion Did

Posted by: Mirror-Universe Mitt Romney at September 04, 2012 06:34 PM (UuASu)

600 "The Democrats’ convention platform endorses a slew of organized labor’s wishes and says unions “helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known.”"

Sure. Most "middle class" people are part of a union. And the free market had absolutely nothing to do with anything. Unions! (Also, class warfare much?)

"It endorses an increase to the minimum wage and strongly supports other labor laws"

I hope the DemOcrats raise the minimum wage to $100/hr and impose the most stringent labor laws! possible so that even more people lose their jobs and finally figure out who is to blame. Keep it up Leftists. Eventually, even the dullest "Proletarians" will figure it out.

"Democrats believe that the right to organize and collectively bargain is a fundamental American value"

Sure. That's why America was founded: Marxist-Leninism; it's in the Declaration and the Constitution.

"every American should have a voice on the job and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s work"

Actually, the salary is negotiated before the work, you fucking idiots. If you don't like it, don't take the job. And I'm pretty sure you can still ask for a raise, with or without Unions (in fact, Unions limit your ability to ask for a raise). Don't get the raise you want or "need," quit. Freedom, how does it work?

"We will continue to fight for the right of all workers to organize and join a union."

You will continue to fight for high unemployment and poverty so that there is someone to vote for you aside from "upper class wannabe" retards (and the actual "upper class"). Always follow the incentive structure (and the votes).

"Unions helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known."

Go on...

Dipshits.

What else "helped build the greatest middle class the world has ever known?" Syphilis?

"Their work resulted in the 40-hour workweek and weekends, paid leave"

Mohammed. If you don't like the hours, don't take the fucking job. There is absolutely no need for everyone to work exactly the same number of hours or have exactly the same quantity of time free at exactly the same time (not that that happens anyways) aside from your Marxist-Leninist hatred of freedom and lust for power and control.

"and pensions, the minimum wage and health insurance, and Social Security and Medicare –the cornerstones of middle class security. "

The minimum wage does nothing (especially for the middle class, by definition!) but increase unemployment by knocking many people out of the labor market -- unless they're "illegal." The very people who think the Democrats are actually trying to help them. That, and produce inflation, I guess.

I'm pretty sure that Socialism is not the cornerstone of anything having to do with the "middle class." Perhaps "upper class" control over the "middle class." But that's about it. Also, you idiots are going to look mighty stupid when the Ponzi Schemes you built up (and are continuing to build up) collapse in your/our faces.

"Not included in that list? Actually creating a single damn job."

Jobs are racist. Some people are more competent than others. Racism.

"Small businesses employ half of all working Americans, and, over the last two decades, have created two out of three net new jobs."

Ergo, let's fuck them, Lefty style.

"Democrats believe that small businesses are the engine of job growth in America. President Obama signed 18 small-business tax cuts to encourage with a tax credit to help pay for the cost of coverage. In 2014, the tax credit will grow and small businesses will be able to pool their purchasing power together to get affordable coverage."

Why don't you try pulling your cock out of "small businessmen's" anuses? Maybe that might work. Also, businessmen do not love you, regardless of their or their business' volume, weight, mass, or height.

"We recognize the importance of small business to women, people of color, tribes, and rural America and will work to help nurture entrepreneurship."

What about to people who don't have any of those "disabilities?" Oh, right, fuck them. Evil oppressors. Evil oppressors without a shred of actual political power because they are stuck in the "middle class" i.e. divorced from the levers of power, by definition.

Also, People of Color is a term which betrays a Nordicistic worldview. Dipshits.

"President Obama and the Democratic Party are committed to continue cutting red tape for small businesses"

Lol. Why can't you Leftist dipshits ever maintain a shred of internal consistency.

"helping them sell their goods around the world"

For fuck's sake, leave them the fuck alone.

"and access the capital they need to grow."

Because of the unhealthy business (including financial) environment Leftism and Leftist policy has brought about, capital isn't as plentiful as it once was. Good job, dipshits. "We'll create the problem, and then the proles will elect us to fix it. And fux them."

"This includes tax cuts for small businesses that make new investments, hire more workers, or increase wages."

You want businesses (small or otherwise) to "make new investments, hire more workers, or increase wages?" Leave them the fuck alone. But that wouldn't satisfy your "needs." Fucking malevolent retards.

"First, can we go without one section talking about sub-sets of Americans? I guess not."

No. If we do that, then Racist-Americans will have won.

"Note that small businesses owners didn't create the greatest middle-class ever, that honor belongs to unions and the government according Democrats."

That's pretty racist. I'm pretty sure Obama did it all by himself. Stop trying to rob him!

"All the talk of tax cuts and "cutting red tape" is nice and all until you look at their real actions"

It's not even consistent with any of the other crap they wrote.

"proposing to raise taxes on many small business owners by allowing the "Bush" tax cuts to expire"

And why not? Taxes created and create the middle class, after all. They, and unions.

"and a little thing known as "ObamaCare" which is a huge tax hike and regulatory mess for many small businesses."

Well, the good news is that ObamaCare was engineered to fail, like pretty much everything else Leftist do. Single Payer, here we come!

"Note also the approach of Democrats to job creation....they'll give you a few hundred bucks in tax credits if you spend tens of thousands of dollars employing a new person."

You should be happy with your place in the world, you "middle-class" racist. Know your place, or you'll be called "a racist" or a whole bunch of other "bad names" designed to induce as much psychological pain as possible. Over and over and over.

"They actually think this is how the world works."

It is how the world works. Because they make the anthropogenic rules, and the world works according to those rules. Until it all comes crashing down. But that's what you deserve, you evil "middle-class" racist.

"I hate when people say "there's no difference between the parties". That can seem true at times (like when big spending bills come up) but at the grassroots level there's a huge difference."

Both parties have to operate within the constraints of the same social environment and cultural context (the ones created by Democrats). That is the problem. (Also, by definition, both parties are ruled by "upper class" people.)

"Look at the people the Democrats will trot out...losers demanding more free stuff"

And why shouldn't they, if no one is willing to call them out on it?

"people who see themselves as helpless victims who can't get out of bed in the morning without a government program"

Most of them are victims. Of Leftism. Or their genes. Or the interaction between their genes and the environment Leftism has brought about (i.e. a combination of the two factors.)

"people who'd rather drag others down than try and climb up themselves"

And why shouldn't they, if no one is willing to call them out on it?

"and the rich people who pretend to care about them."

And why shouldn't they, if no one is willing to call them out on it?

"Contrast that with the mainly self-made people at the RNC who are proud of what they have created and people who admire them for their accomplishments and strive to be as successful as they are."

People are mostly a combination of their genes and environment (including what opportunities "are offered" to them by the Potemkinist Pseudocapitalism we have left over after all of Leftism's Progress).

"That's the real difference between the parties and it's what's going to make this week insufferable to watch."

The real difference is that one party is trying to destroy America, and the other party mostly seems to like to watch (de facto speaking, but even rhetorically speaking -- i.e. much of their/our rhetoric sucks).

Posted by: Mirror-Universe Mitt Romney at September 04, 2012 09:08 PM (UuASu)

601 "Democrats believe that the right to organize public displays of violence, defecation, drug use, rape, and anti-semitism and collectively bargain intimidate ideological opponents with charges of racism, sexism, fascism is
a fundamental American value; every unemployable American should have a voice on the
job and a chance to negotiate for a fair day’s pay after a hard day’s work time pretending to be sick. We will continue to fight for the right of all workers or so we like to call them to organize
and join a union cult of violent mob agitators. Unions helped build the greatest middle class subversive socialist political party the
world has ever known. Their work resulted in the 40-hour workweek unless you are the one who fixes our mistakes and
weekends and thousands of jobs for non-union contractors who actually do all the work the union "workers" are supposed to do, paid leave and unsustainable, government guaranteed pensions, the minimum wage which triggers automatic wage increases for us and health
insurance which we don't have to pay for because you do, and Social Security and Medicare – the cornerstones of middle
class security our pending fiscal doom."

Fixed that for them. Hope they don't mind. Should really win over those pesky independents.
