It tells me that (for the most part) they are starting to poll likely voters because their credibility will be shot if they "get it wrong" by sticking with RVs and oversampling Democrats to get what will (G*d willing) be the wrong answer.

What Romney has going for him is (1) Hatred of Obama
policies and the overwhelming desire to get him out of office (2) Bad
bad economy has made the Democrats separate themselves from Obama this
will result in lower turnout (3) Black unemployment has caused a lot of
dissatisfaction. He will still get 96% of the black vote but they will
not turn out in record droves this time.
You can see this
model developing in a lot of formerly guaranteed blue States like WI
which have turned purple and maybe even red in the next election. The
States that were borderline in 2008 will be large wins for Republicans.
This election could turn into a Carteresque rout. It is Romney's to lose now.

Indeed...this is very foretelling and Brown went up 49 to 44 over Warren in MA as well...this in the northeast???? This is not a good sign for the Dems at all....If Conn has McMahon up by three and Ma has Brown up by 5 than there is serious movement in the polls. This is a great sign for the Repubs without any money yet from the massive war chest Mitt has been building and will be unleashed after the Convention!!
Another Florida poll from the same group that surveyed Michiganand had Mitt up by 4 has Mitt up by 14 in Florida amongcloseto 1,600 Likely Voters!! They released this poll yesterday as well. This group out of Michigan according to Powerline slants Democratic and yet has Mitt up by 4in Michigan and 14 in Florida!!

We had another paper, which was Conservative, but, the Tulsa World owned the printing operation and when the other paper's printing contract expired, the World refused to even offer a new contract. Europe has far less permissive abortion laws. Mostly because it actually has to be a law over there and we had law school graduates imposing one-size-fits-all on us. Truth be told, if we were allowed to use the messiness of democracy, rather than the language of "rights", it would have probably resolved similarly.
Those same folks are horrified by late term abortions and
partial birth abortions. As for gay marriage, it has failed every ballot

religion, really believe in their heart of hearts that marriage is for
one man and one woman.
There's also the polygamy thing. If you use any "rights" argument, then polygamy is next. That has real and tangible social damage. Also, same-sex marriage supporters are their own worst enemies.

If you owned a Prius you wouldnt mind it so much....Try inflating your tires more, the bigger the tire the more distance you travel per revolution of the tire = less revolutions to reach your destination = less gas used.
You could also try removing all unneccessary hardware from your car like extra seats and stuff to reduce the weight, lighter cars take less gas to push.
Also you might want to consider investing in a wind farm...

For the eleventieth time, there aren't enough voters that even understand the concept, let alone that would be willing to let our military undertake such campaigns.
It may be the most effective of strategy, it may yield the best long term results, but for all the bluster and historical precedent, you live in a county where the military is under civilian command. That command is not a war-friendly one. We're not Sparta. We're not Rome.
And quite frankly, the conditions and events that would have to occur to transform us into a modern Horde would not be fun, to say the least.

What events do you have to hope for to improve your chances? War sure as hell won't help. Can the economy get better? How? They can fudge the numbers. But even that can be dismissed as "we've seen minor increases before, this is no different."
So, it's all praying to whatever they pray to that the GOP screws up. There's a good track record there. But even that's a par 4 hole-in-one shot at this point. It has to be live girl/dead boy to have enough juice to move the needle at this point.

I am shocked his staff is still working for him. I don't mean the die hards and family members, but the professional staff. His "money bomb" is netting at most $7K/day even after national TV appearances. That won't last. Consider the expenses of paying these professionals. Then of having offices in such a big state. Internal polling.

The only savings from your logic is tire wear. If the larger wheels turn less, then you aren't saving any gas, only treads. And larger wheels are heavier, adding more weight to the car and increases braking distances.

But after 2010 when they didn't elect even 1 out of the 5 House Seats to Republicans, I thought CT was 100% lost (even while envisioning a national preference cascade). But with a crappy Dem Governor (after years of somewhat solid, moderate republican governors) who has bent the citizens over for the benefit of the PEU's, and a SCoaMF in the White House, maybe the cascade will even hit there.
If this polling is solid, it indicates that any state that went (R) in 2010 (Maine, MI, WI, etc) ain't going for SCoaMF this fall, and it's all over but the arson when the lefties melt-down

1. Yes overinflating tires saves gas by reducing tire friction. This is both known, and dangerous. The loss of friction reduces your ability to control the automobile. It will more likely skid in corners, while making swerves, and while breaking (and accelerating if you have enough power)
2. The reason braking takes more space is the loss of friction. The weight of the additional air you add to the tire between properly inflated and safely overinflated is negligible, and the weight of the rubber doesn't change whether the tire is inflated or not.

The only savings from your logic is tire
wear. If the larger wheels turn less, then you aren't saving any gas,
only treads. And larger wheels are heavier, adding more weight to the
car and increases braking distances.

tires saves gas by reducing tire friction. This is both known, and
dangerous. The loss of friction reduces your ability to control the
automobile. It will more likely skid in corners, while making swerves,
and while breaking (and accelerating if you have enough power)
2.
The reason braking takes more space is the loss of friction. The weight
of the additional air you add to the tire between properly inflated and
safely overinflated is negligible, and the weight of the rubber doesn't
change whether the tire is inflated or not.

If you
owned a Prius you wouldnt mind it so much....Try inflating your tires
more, the bigger the tire the more distance you travel per revolution of
the tire = less revolutions to reach your destination = less gas used.
You
could also try removing all unneccessary hardware from your car like
extra seats and stuff to reduce the weight, lighter cars take less gas
to push.
Also you might want to consider investing in a wind farm...
If you really want to get better gas mileage you might want to consider this invention my buddy uses:

I'd prefer Reagan's restraint to Obama's lackadaisical use of drones and dead service members to not look weak while just watching chaos unfold.

The fact is, they're ALL out of touch. What they NEED to do is go back to their districts and SPEND TIME with their constituents. I'm not talking about some staged town hall or any bullshit like that.
Go to their homes, invite them to your office. Make yourself available. LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.
They're all surrounded by yes men (and women) and environments that blow so much smoke up their asses, they think they're HOLY!!!
This MUST stop. KNOW your public, then you can lead them SUCCESSFULLY.

Yep, you want to understand the State Department, read Ann Coulter's book, Treason. I am not always a fan of the Blonde Bombthrower, but, that book should be required reading for anyone with Conservative leanings. It is also a book that I would recommend to folks to give a young person on the verge of becoming a voter. Have them read it, then discuss it with them.
