In the last year so many people who smugly thought their job was safe and they would always be employed got the shock of their lives when suddenly they weren't employed. Besides, if the US economy stinks come August and Europe looks like blowing up then Republican-supporting business interests will likely want QE as well even if it does help Obama's chances of re-election.

Over what I thought was a dead issue. Remember when, a few days after he was awarded bail, the judge called him on the carpet for claiming to be destitute and failing to disclose the money donated to his website?
