89 Romney may not have been the best candidate for conservatism, but he's developed into a good candidate. Years of practice does that. And I applaud his campaign team now if it's indeed designing the message and delivery that Romney is making.

His campaign is not beta but it's not offensively (as in crude) alpha, either. That bodes well. It's a good political balance. I hope he'll use it for good and not evil after he crushes Obama's styrofoam columns and TOTUS.

A legitimate concern that I share, also. However, the Republicans are likely to gain control of the Senate and keep the House of Representatives, and Romney as President is unlikely to go against a Republican-dominated legislature. Futhermore, we already know how President Obama governs.

And. If I lived in Utah I would vote AGAINST him.

These guys, like Hatch and Lugar, think we need a reason to thank them for their service and dismiss them. We don't. They serve at our pleasure. And in both cases, it's simply time they get a gold watch and move on.
