Yes, watching the video, if the audience members they panned to were typical (VFW or American Legion, I think) they probably don't follow the social media campaigns, and Romney took a long time to explain it, I think, so they could get a real flavor for what it was all about. I don't think they got it. But the one liner they got, and laughed at. He should have kept it to that.

I have questioned how he will be as President... because the two things are completly different skill sets.... (as some are now figuring out with Obama).
Posted by: Romeo13 at May 08, 2012 09:32 PM (lZBBB) ------------> A legitimate concern that I share, also. However, the Republicans are likely to gain control of the Senate and keep the House of Representatives, and Romney as President is unlikely to go against a Republican-dominated legislature. Futhermore, we already know how President Obama governs. Posted by: Retired Buckeye Cop at May 08, 2012 09:49 PM (M0NzJ) Posted by: weft cut-loop at May 08, 2012 09:49 PM (ebPtk) 138

I like Hatch. I don't think he's even close to being a RINO and has never been close. He did great things sheparding Roberts and Alito and a bunch of lower court judges through the Judiciary committee. He has been a good soldier on our side.
And. If I lived in Utah I would vote AGAINST him. These guys, like Hatch and Lugar, think we need a reason to thank them for their service and dismiss them. We don't. They serve at our pleasure. And in both cases, it's simply time they get a gold watch and move on. Posted by: chris not rock at May 08, 2012 10:25 PM (YLqOu) 168
