I'm sure the obamanite assholes are pissed. But the NLRB is supposed to be neutral and act as a mediator between business and unions/workers. Obama has appointed union thugs to the board and it is now anything but neutral. It is time for the Republicans to simply eliminate this board for all time. They could defund it now but crying Boner lost his sack immediately after the 2010 election.

"Obama is a soon to be retired stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure"

Maybe, maybe not.

But the demographics simply aren't there for the GOP to continue to win nationally for much longer.

Heck, the demographics aren't there for the GOP to win even in Texas for much longer.

And, although I hate to say it, you need to be prepared for the possiblity that the Mittster is such a weak candidate, and that the demographics have already turned so badly against us, that JugEars will actually be re-elected in November.

BTW, you'll get a pretty good idea where the PuppetMasters think things are going by watching the change in Goldman Sachs contributions now that the Mittster has the GOP nomination wrapped up.

[Remember, Goldman Sachs was the single largest donor to the Mittster and to his SuperPACs.]

PS: Keep in mind that the Mittster needs to win by a solid 3-points [and maybe even 4-points] nationally - otherwise Holder and the New Black Panther Party and the SEIU and Andy Stern and ACORN [and George Soros and Goldman Sachs and the rest of the PuppetMasters] will simply manufacture the votes necessary to make JugEars appear to be the winner.

And since the PuppetMasters own the media, we'll never get an honest accounting of what happened.

I would have a requirement that your voter registration automatically expires every 4 years and proof of taxes paid would be required for voter registration. The voter registration card would then be required to vote in any election and it would have a photo on it.

38 I am convinced that the left's sole goal is to make sure that everyone is miserable. Seriously. Think of almost anything you like to do, to eat, to watch, anything at all, and then think about how much the left has ruined it.

They have ruined eating out with their constant carping on fats, salt, and sugar. Football? Crappy vulgar half-times at the Super Bowl, politics injected into it with Obama appearing on TV and snarky ESPN commentors mocking GOP.

Golf? They whine about women at Augusta, and make us watch Obama playing. Movies? Every time you go you have to be braced for a political message hidden in the plot, or the stars get on TV and mock conservatives.
Music? I don't even need to explain.

They have attacked Boy Scouts, 4-H, and Miss America. There is no religious holiday that escapes the patented "Judaism/Christianity is simply a silly myth" special on one of the cable channels.

Kids cannot sing Christmas carols at school. Halloween has been turned into nothing but begging. Fourth of July parades are burdened with anti-American groups wanting equal inclusion.

A guy on Fox yesterday morning said that the reason the left is going after Ann Romney (and thus her husband) is because they remind us of the United States before the left grabbed the culture. In another time (like when I was growing up) the Romneys would have been examples we held up to our children.

And let me say this: there are many young women who really DO want to stay home and raise their kids. They cannot because either theeir husbands are out of work or don't make enough money, or they are raising kids on their own, or because they are under severe societal pressure to work and "contribute" and "not waste their degree."

I am on a rant this morning because I remember my mother, who taught school, then quit to raise us, then went BACK to teaching and ended up a dean of a university. Hilary Rosen would have discounted her opinion during those years she was at home.

41 >>Yeah, we beat this to death yesterday...

Today marks the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. People are commemorating the occasion in all kinds of ways.

One of the more interesting methods is being used by the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. It will be using Twitter to broadcast the Titanic's original wireless transmissions.

When the Titanic was built, it was the most modern vessel of its kind. It included an advanced wireless telegraph machine.

By following #TitanicMMA on Twitter today, you'll be able to read the exact messages read by operators in 1912 as they were received. Tweets began at 11:55 p.m. Newfoundland Standard Time last night.

R.M.S Titanic has on board two Marconi operators--Jack Phillips and Harold Bride. They're not really employed by the White Star Line--just "leased" through the Marconi International Marine Telegraph Company. Still, White Star Line signs their paychecks and the wireless operators are considered junior officers. (That's why when the headline Five Officers Saved! ran in the papers, it was assumed that Sixth Officer Moody survived when really Harold Bride did.) Considering all the work they are required to do, both operators are paid a pathetic wage. Jack Phillips--as the senior and with 6 years in the Marconi Company under his belt--earns 4 dollars a week (16 dollars a month) and Harold Bride earns 2 dollars a week (8 dollars a month). In British Pounds, Bride's monthly salary was 6.75. 4 pounds from the Marconi Company and then another 2.75 from White Star Line. It doesn't sound like much, but those are very decent wages in 1912. Shipboard wireless operators made more than their relay station and railroad counterparts and Mr. Marconi himself remarked that "the wage is better and going out to sea is very appealing to many young men."

http://tinyurl.com/bmf565q

April 2nd~~The telegraph equipment is delivered to Titanic in time for sea trials. Phillips and Bride spend the day installing and adjusting the equipment.

April 3rd~~the equipment is adjusted (again) and is now working correctly. From this time on, the wireless is in constant use. Phillips and Bride exchange messages with coast stations and sea trial reports are transmitted to Bruce Ismay (the Managing Director for White Star Line) in Liverpool. The Marconi Men leave the ship for a break in Southampton.

April 6th~~Phillips returns briefly to Titanic to check the spare parts.

April 9th~~Bride signs back on board.

April 10th~~Sailing Day. Phillips and Bride are up early conducting final equipment tests. They agree on watch hours. Phillips--the chief operator--takes the 8 p.m-2 a.m. watch and Bride from 2 a.m.-8 a.m. During the day, they would relieve each other to suit convenience. A continuous 24-hour watch is to be maintained.

The Wireless Shack ("Marconi Room") is located 40 feet aft from the bridge and connected by a corridor on the port side of the officers' quarters. That's on the boat deck, so the operators could sneak out for a smoke alongside the lifeboats.

Bride and Phillips shared sleeping quarters that was connected to the operating room by a door. While getting undressed or ready for a meal, they could still hear what messages the other was sending so the wall (and door) was thin. The operators also shared the officers' toilet/washroom across the corridor.

51 The government has always loved them some inflation since FDR was in office. And they have always undercounted it. That enables them to raise taxes through bracket creep. And that even before they started "adjusting" the tax tables for inflation. Look at the difference between 2011 and 2012 tables. A few dollars only. They are saying we have essentially no inflation when it is actually around 20%.

Think about it. Using the government official numbers that $4/week which was considered a good wage in 1912 is the equivalent of $89/week now.

$89/week is shit.

Carter was the village idiot, but for astute investors, his presidency and ensuing spiking interest rates created opportunity never before seen in America. Not the time to purchase homes or high interest automobiles, but for those with cash, it was Nirvana.

To purchase a non-callable 30-year Treasury at 13 - 14 1/2% was gold, and muni's were trading at 12 - 16 % tax free. Also, stuffing IRA's with non-callable zero coupon Treasuries with maturities 40 years forward was like printing money.

75 years ago, the instructions for Form 1040 were two pages long. Today, they are 189 pages long. There have been 4,428 changes to the tax code over the last decade. It is incredibly costly to change tax software, tax manuals and tax instruction booklets for all of those changes.

According to the National Taxpayers Union, the IRS currently has 1,999 different publications, forms, and instruction sheets that you can download from the IRS website.

Our tax system has become so complicated that it is almost impossible to file your taxes correctly. For example, back in 1998 Money Magazine had 46 different tax professionals complete a tax return for a hypothetical household. All 46 of them came up with a different result!

In 2009, PC World had five of the most popular tax preparation software websites prepare a tax return for a hypothetical household. All five of them came up with a different result.

I hate to tell you this, but the Mittster just ain't The Gipper.

Furthermore - although we didn't realize it at the time - the success of The Gipper's "supply side" tax cuts was fueled [on the "demand side"] by the huge surge in demographics caused by the Baby Boomers coming of age.

Baby Boomers who looked and and thought and acted like the characters whom Tom Cruise Val Kilmer in Top Gun.

By contrast, our contemporary demographic surge consists of young adults who look and think and act like they just stepped out of a Youtube video of a flash mob in Filthydelphia or at the Wisconsin State Fair.

And no amount of "tax cut" mumbo-jumbo is ever going to turn that demographic into the kinds of kids who can master the engineering curriculum at Annapolis, much less maintain a sufficiently high GPA at Annapolis to even have any hope of being asked to serve as a pilot.

Obama is always seeking fairness, and Congress should accommodate his wish. To make it fair, capital investors should be allowed to index for inflation. Deducing the annual inflation rate from the sale of real estate or common stock would dramatically lower the capital gain tax, and that's why fairness is not on the menu of things to do. It's all about money to spend on social programs and previously concocted entitlements.

According to The Tax Foundation, the average American has to work until April 17th just to pay federal, state, and local taxes. Back in 1900, “Tax Freedom Day” came on January 22nd.

When the U.S. government first implemented a personal income tax back in 1913, the vast majority of the population paid a rate of just 1 percent, and the highest marginal tax rate was just 7 percent.

"I refuse to sit around wringing my hands and muttering about how we are doomed."

Except that we are doomed.

We could have won in 2012, and we might still have a chance in 2016, but sometime around 2020, the demographics just won't be there for a GOP national victory anymore.

If you haven't studied demographics yet, then you need to stop whatever you are doing and get to work on it.

NOW.

I will agree with you that there is somehope for young GOP kids in the hard-Red parts of the country, but for the Blue States [and for the urban/Obama zones in the Red States],there is NO HOPE WHATSOEVER.

Furthermore, the combination of the Blue States and the urban/Obama zones in the Red States is poised to overwhelm us at the voting booth.

And, again, THERE IS NO HOPE FOR THEM.

You can tell yourself sweet little lies, and pretend that this isn't the case, or you can get off your lazy posterior and start learning about demographics and figure out how you can best position your family and your loved ones for survival in what will prove to be the socio-political nightmare of our impending demographic disaster.

95 More research.

The average income in 1913 was about $1200 per year. You got to write off the first $3000 income and then pay 1% tax on anything above that up to $20,000.

So the average person paid zero income tax.

>>and figure out how you can best position your family and your loved ones

Couldn't agree more.

The United States is the only nation on the planet that tries to tax citizens on what they earn in foreign countries. The top 20 percent of all income earners in the United States pay approximately 86 percent of all federal income taxes. You could take every single penny that every American earns above $250,000 and it would only fund about 38 percent of the federal budget. Were gonna get fucked.

The United States has the highest corporate tax rate in the world (35 percent). In Ireland, the corporate tax rate is only 12.5 percent. This is causing thousands of corporations to move operations out of the United States and into other countries.

Some tax havens are doing a booming business in setting up sham headquarters for U.S. corporations. For example, the city of Zug, Switzerland only has a population of 26,000 people but it is the headquarters for 30,000 companies. In 1950, corporate taxes accounted for about 30 percent of all federal revenue. In 2012, corporate taxes will account for less than 7 percent of all federal revenue.

Thank you Exxon-Mobil..paid $15 billion in taxes in 2009, but not a single penny went to the U.S. government.

Many wealthy Americans hide enormous amounts of money outside the country in order to avoid paying taxes. According to the IMF, a total of 18 trillion dollars is currently being hidden in offshore banks.

Heh.

Most of the tax debate is focused on income taxes, but the truth is that Americans pay dozens of other taxes every single year. The following are just a few of the taxes that many Americans pay….
#1 Building Permit Taxes
#2 Capital Gains Taxes
#3 Cigarette Taxes
#4 Court Fines (indirect taxes)
#5 Dog License Taxes
#6 Federal Unemployment Taxes
#7 Fishing License Taxes
#8 Food License Taxes
#9 Gasoline Taxes
#10 Gift Taxes
#11 Hunting License Taxes
#12 Inheritance Taxes
#13 Inventory Taxes
#14 IRS Interest Charges (tax on top of tax)
#15 IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax)
#16 Liquor Taxes
#17 Luxury Taxes
#18 Marriage License Taxes
#19 Medicare Taxes
#20 Property Taxes
#21 Recreational Vehicle Taxes
#22 Toll Booth Taxes
#23 Sales Taxes
#24 Self-Employment Taxes
#25 School Taxes
#26 Septic Permit Taxes
#27 Service Charge Taxes
#28 Social Security Taxes
#29 State Unemployment Taxes (SUTA)
#30 Telephone Federal Excise Taxes
#31 Telephone Federal Universal Service Fee Taxes
#32 Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Taxes
#33 Telephone State And Local Taxes
#34 Tire Taxes
#35 Toll Bridge Taxes
#36 Toll Tunnel Taxes
#37 Traffic Fines (indirect taxation)
#38 Utility Taxes
#39 Vehicle License Registration Taxes
#40 Vehicle Sales Taxes
#41 Workers Compensation Taxes

When you account for all forms of taxation on the federal, state and local levels there are many Americans that pay out more than half of their incomes in taxes. We are being taxed into oblivion, and yet most Americans do not even realize that it is happening. It is kind of like being killed by thousands of tiny cuts.

So what do all of these taxes buy us?

They buy us a massively bloated government that wastes money on some of the craziest things.

VIC: PLEASE LISTEN TO ME.

"Tax Cuts" only help TAX PRODUCERS.

They do nothing for "people" who are inherently TAX CONSUMERS.

We no longer have even the demographics which The Gipper had back in the 1981.

And we certainly don't have the demographics which Jack Kennedy had in 1961.

TAX CUTS DON'T DO ANY GOOD IF YOU ARE DEALING WITH A POPULATION WHICH IS INHERENTLY INCAPABLE OF PRODUCING ANYTHING WHICH COULD EVER POSSIBLY BE "TAXABLE" IN THE FIRST PLACE.

"Tax Cuts" will be wonderful for hard-Red parts of the country, like Utah or Kansas or Alaska or Idaho.

But for e.g. urban Filthydelphia - for the New Black Panther thug intimidating GOP voters at a Filthydelphia precinct voting place, or for a Filthydelphia flash mob rioter breaking store Apple Store windows and stealing iPhones - tax cuts have all the relevance of Quantum Mechanics or the Theory of Relativity - "tax cuts" amounts to a concept and a reality which is utterly beyond their ability to even comprehend, much less [in any sense] to "profit" from.

Indeed, to the extent that "tax cuts" will eventually force cuts in their gubmint freebies [which will, in turn, increase their risk of starving to death or freezing to death], the very idea of "tax cuts" constitutes a mortal peril to them.

108 #91 I understand demographics quite well. But demographics are not the complete answer to every question, and while they affect our lives, they do not control them.

In the 1930's ASSUMED demographics of the future encourage the set up the Social Security system Changes in family size after birth control and abortion changed the supposed success of that program.

Demographics can be affected by outside factors. It is not written in stone that always and forever inner cities will be populated by leeches. What it takes to change that is to change the perception that work and education is something only white people are interested in.

So while I understand your frustration, I do not share your despair. We are a nation which has always been able to adapt, and I see no reason to believe that we cannot change our course.

The IRS spends $2.45for every $100 that it collects in taxes.

Is that the total budget of the IRS v taxes collected? Or is it a sub-category, expenses that can be directly attributed to tax collection?

I ask that question because liberals love to claim that Medicare has only a 3% overhead -- no CEOs pulling down mega-bucks, y'know.

I refuse to accept that 97% of all Medicare funding goes directly to paying for medical services. I believe the 3% claim can only be correct if it involves a sub-universe of Medicare funding.

But they are PRECISELY the portion of the population which fueled the economic growth after JFK's tax cuts in the 1960s, and after RWR's tax cuts in the 1980s - i.e. the young people out of GaTech and Rensselaer and Carnegie Mellon and Purdue and Rice and CalTech/MassTech are PRECISELY the ones who go about creating the wealth in the aftermath of any tax cuts.

But the Obama voters - the intimidators at the voting booths, the flash mob rioters, the Henry Louis Gateses and the Cornell Wests and the Amber Lampses and the Trayvon Martins - they are [at best] nothing but leaches [and, possibly even more likely, simply thieves and rapists and murderers].

If you want your Grandkids to get paid for doing something stupid, just turn to the U.S. government. The U.S. government is paying researchers to play video games, it is paying researchers to study the effects of cocaine on Japanese quail and it has spent millions of dollars to train Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly. The amount of money that the government wastes is absolutely horrifying. Do you remember all of that political wrangling over the debt ceiling deal last year? Do you remember how our politicians told us that there were cutting spending as much as they possibly could? Well, it was all a giant lie. The U.S. government is spending money on some of the most stupid things imaginable. What makes all of this even worse is that we are going into enormous amounts of debt in order to pay for all of this. We are borrowing billions of dollars a day in order to pay for stupid stuff that no government on earth should ever be paying for. Trust me, you are going to find sweet money for your useful degreed Grandkids! It is almost inconceivable what our politicians are doing with our tax dollars.

Well, most of them are in college for their Masters in Relationship Studies. Unfortunately if they admit it they are committing a sin against the systerhood, so they have to pretend that they are serious intellectuals.

I would imagine that many of them look up to their therapists from years of talking about why daddy left, didn't love them enough, loved them way too much, etc. When they don't know what they want to do with their lives, they start to think "Hey, I can do that."

"Frankly, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say."

I'm trying to warn the old folks [in their 40s 50s 60s on this board, with a clear memory of the Reagan tax cuts, and maybe even a memory of the Kennedy tax cuts] that the "supply side" idea of tax cuts doesn't work without an accompanying "demand side" consisting of sufficiently many industrious, intelligent, idealistic young people who can make something of the extra revenue.
This is what our young people looked like during the Reagan Administration:

Val Kilmer, Top Gun
bit.ly/IdrJUk
Tom Cruise, Top Gun
bit.ly/ITZ61r

Those [kinds of] guys got outstanding [top-of-their-class] grade point averages in an extremely demanding Engineering Curriculum at Annapolis [after simply having gotten into Annapolis in the first place, which was no mean feat, back in the day].
They were clean cut, smart, hard-working, dedicated, loyal, and patriotic - i.e. precisely the kinds of kids who could be given "tax cuts" and the freedom to run with them, such that their elders could be safe in the knowledge that something good would come from it all.
But this is what our young people look like nowadays, during the Obama Administration:

Amber Lamps

And those simply are not the kinds of people who will benefit from tax cuts - the intellectual moral spiritual material just isn't there for anything to come of it.
Indeed, to the extent that tax cuts will mean eventual cutbacks in gubmint freebies, all of those Obama voters would STARVE AND/OR FREEZE TO DEATH without high taxes.

Heh, true.

I've been calling for a reform of law school for years. Make it an undergraduate degree. If you do this, you'll see a lot of these poli-sci/pre-law/whatever guys disappear overnight. Same thing with medical education.

207 Bwahahaha, I wish I knew flathead!

A Celebration of the life of Michael "Flathead" Blanchard will be held on April 14th, 3 pm 8160 Rosemary St, Commerce City. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Mike wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors' orders and raising hell for more than six decades. He enjoyed booze, guns, cars and younger women until the day he died. Mike was born July 1944 in Colorado to Clyde and Ethel Blanchard. A community activist, he is noted for saving the Dr. Justina Ford house from demolition and defending those who could not defend themselves. He was a Republican delegate, life member of the NRA, founder and President of the Dead Cats MC. He loved music.Mike was preceded in death by Clyde and Ethel Blanchard, survived by his beloved sons Mike and Chopper, former wife Jane Transue, brother Stephen Blanchard (Susan), Uncle Don and Aunt Cynthia Blanchard(his favorite); Uncle Dill and Aunt Dot, cousins and nephews, Baba Yaga can kiss his butt. So many of his childhood friends that weren't killed in Vietnam went on to become criminals, prostitutes and/or Democrats. He asks that you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. As the Celebration will contain Adult material we respectfully ask that no children under 18 attend.

My guess is that they are looking to make it a narrative about misbehavior by low level guys. The real problem isn't the $47 hookers being brought to a cheap hotel room. It's the $4700 hookers being brought to the VIP suites.

Natives are getting restless in Afghanistan. Countrywide attacks today with between 40-50 rockets hitting our compound here in Gardez. Got to watch an A-10 and two Apaches strafe the buildings they were firing from. They had footage of it up on CNN a little while ago, it's the pink building getting pounded. I found it pretty funny that our media is reporting that no US troops were involved, I didn't know we had Afghans flying our air support now. The building was finally leveled by a JDAM that was fired from an unknown aircraft, our military counterparts said it was a B1. Pretty cool if so. The shockwave from the blast rocked us pretty good.

Another worthless "study" from a left-wing indoctrination mill:

Study charts Pa. Legislature's greatest laws

Seeking to accentuate the positive in an institution that's often perceived in a negative light, Temple University student researchers have produced a "greatest achievements" list of the most important laws passed by Pennsylvania's General Assembly in modern times.

To ease the suspense, No. 1 is the personal income tax.
...
2: The Public Employee Relations Act, approved in 1970, giving public employees in Pennsylvania the right to organize and bargain collectively with employers, as well as a limited right to strike.

3: The Children's Health Insurance Program. Enacted in 1992, CHIP provides free or low-cost health coverage for nearly 200,000 uninsured children and teenagers not enrolled in the Medical Assistance program.

4: The PACE and PACENET programs. These related programs, approved separately more than a decade apart, provide low-cost prescription drugs for low-income senior citizens and are funded largely by state lottery revenue.

5: Laws creating the Department of Environmental Resources in the early 1970s. It has since been renamed the Department of Environmental Protection.

6: The 1971 law creating the Pennsylvania Lottery.
...
9: The Police and Firefighter Collective Bargaining Law, approved in 1968, giving police and firefighters the right to collective bargaining and binding arbitration.

10: The 2004 law that legalized slot-machine gambling in Pennsylvania and the 2006 law that set up a system for distributing the portion of slots revenue dedicated to local property-tax relief.

All tax and spend , pro union and pro environmentalist laws. BTW -- mills on the gambling dollars actually go to "property-tax relief."

Well, part of the reason is that the military is still a very regulated society. Unfortunately that is changing, as the Army attempts to appease the forces of diversity and social progress. Also, the increasing ability of soldiers to remain connected to family and friends at all times makes it easier for stuff to get out. What used to remain a story told amongst friends now can end up a Facebook post complete with pictures.

I'm talking about THE KINDS OF CHARACTERS THAT THEY PORTRAYED.

Jesus Christ - I thought this was supposed to be a MilCon blog - I mean, WTF, people ?!?

I actually knew guys from Annapolis who would have been right at home as cast members on the Top Gun set - Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THEM.

Furthermore, they were all as smart as a whip, had mastered an insanely difficult curriculum at Annapolis, were complete gentlemen towards the ladies [I actually had a very good female friend get married and exit the chapel through the "sword tunnel"], and they were some of the funnest guys to hang out with that I ever met in my entire life.

And yes, there are still a few young people like that out there today, a quarter of a century later [no small thanks to the homeschooling movement].

BUT THEY ARE BEING SWAMPED BY A VERITABLE DEMOGRAPHIC TIDAL WAVE OF TRAYVON MARTINS AND AMBER LAMPSES AND FLASH MOBS AND RIOTERS.

Let's look at some consequences of ProstitutaPuerta (ProstituteGate)

#1. The incident threatened to overshadow Mr. Obama's economic and trade agenda and embarrass the U.S.

#2. On the steamy streets of Cartagena, there was condemnation for the SS agents for what residents saw as abusing their station and dishonoring their country.

Edwin Yepes, a souvenir vendor, said: "They are supposed to come here and set an example. We are an inferior culture, and so it's better if they(Americans) don't come than if they damage our image of them."

What taxes? You would be hard pressed to find anyone who pays zero tax....sales tax, gas tax, property tax, state income tax..........

and, really, the issue isn't the percentage of people who pay taxes,,,its the amount of the spending. Look, if our budget was balanced and only 50% of the public paid income taxes, we would be thumping our chest about how great that was. Sorry, this "only 50% pay income tax is bad" meme is a little too close to Slow Joe's "skin in the game" meme.

Barky embarrasses the US, both by the fact that he's an incompetent, inept retard, but also on purpose. Barky loves dragging America through the mud. He's been doing it for over 3 years, straight - one embarrassment after another.

Further, there was nothing to overshadow. Barky prefers the diversion.

This incident happened because Barky and his America-hating junta have so degraded every American institution they could get their uncoordinated and greasy little hands on that these sorts of incidents are guaranteed. It's the people ... and the people have changed. Imagine what you would see in Indonesia and expect to see it here. We are a third world nation, now, devoid of laws or sense. ... or money, now, too.

As I have said repeatedly we should have a flat 10% tax on all income regardless of source. This would be an actual tax increase for most people.

And the other line is not so much "skin" in the game as in order to vote you should pay for the privilege. If tax payers were the only voters the Democrat Party would die.

After all, when we were 13 colonies you had to own property to vote or hold office. This was because that was what was taxed in those days, not income.
