All It Requires To Get David Shuster To Accurately Report the Facts Is A Libel Lawsuit

Shuster claimed, for the sixty bazillionth time, that James O'Keefe was a "convicted felon."

No. Misdemeanor. It was a prank, dude. And the judge threw the book at him, because, conservative.

But that book was still only a misdemeanor. That was the most this out-for-blood judge could get him for.

O'Keefe slapped him with a libel suit.

Resulting in Shuster claiming he "misspoke."

Correction; when reporting on James Okeefe's arrest, I misspoke and said OKeefe is a convicted felon. He's not. I apologize for the error.

That's on Twitter. We'll see if he corrects on Olbermann's show, where he's guest hosting, and where he made his libelous remark.

Shuster, of course, has been claiming this for years. No matter how many times people informed him he was factually inaccurate, he kept on claiming it.

Because he's not a journalist, and realizes his reputation is too stinky to ever work in that field again. He's now just a rabble-rouser in a suit.

It kind of came and went but last night and this morning it was swollen again. He went to the dr.. sent him for a sonogram but waiting to find out was agony.. thankfully they didn't find a clot, but the doctor just has dropped the ball. Hubby left after the sonogram and didn't know whether to go back to doctor, go home.. nobody told him what to do since he still didn't have an answer. The first two hours of this day were just horrible. I lost my dad to a blood clot after knee surgery.
Now my son just called. He got fired.

He is home, and feels a blood clot, calls 911 and before they can get to his house he is dead. Died in front of his grand kids knowing what was happening. Pretty crappy. A guy with several 100 mill is sent home to save the hospital some money and dies.

He's 30 years old and he's moving back in with mom and dad? Does your town/city have a rescue mission? If it does, I have a suggestion.

Posted by: Soona at February 29, 2012 03:20 PM (LWXry)

93 soona.. he's been on his own for 8 years.. struggled like hell, still is. Not to get into anything personal but his partner of 7 years was constantly unemployed causing him stress and he's even lost most of his hair. He got tired of it and finally broke it off in December. He can't afford his apartment, utilities etc so we suggested he move back home to get back on his feet. Now he's lost his job. I can't turn my back on him.

94 Hydropower is the most efficient energy source in America.

Moving water is responsible for lighting entire cities, even countries.

Of the 75,187 dams in the US, less than 3% are used to produce 10-12% of America's electricity.

So why can't we.......oh look........a bunny!

Well jewells, look at it like this....maybe with your husband down with the knee problem, it's as good a time as any for him to move back home. You can use the extra help.....and I'm sure help he will.

96 @94: The environmentalists have successfully gotten the courts to declare dams illegal (they endanger fish or some such crap) and they'll be tearing most of them down on the West Coast.

97 @93

That "hope and change" has a lot of people in the crapper.

Remember, it will work out, God works in funny ways.

98 It will all work out Tami.. just praying for some strength right now and my hubby to get better. I just got an email from my husband. He has talked to our son a few times this afternoon. He was suprisingly upbeat. Said maybe this is the perfect time for the kid to look into the health care industry.. he would love to be an x-ray tech or something like that.

102 Tami!

How ya doing today? Are things ok?

Posted by: jem at February 29, 2012 03:51 PM (0oYHO)

103 Hi jem....I'm still kinda meh and weepy. Can't bring myself to put away his things, bed/bowls/toys. I'm sure I'll get there but just not yet.

The vet called me yesterday to see how I was doing and reassure me I had made the right decision. I know, I know...just doesn't make it any better.

104 I have 2 friends who grew up in the USSR. They're both scared by the USA version of Pravda. But the thing that bothered them more is that hardly anyone outside of the dogmatic Commies actually believed Pravda. The "average" citizen today just guzzles the kook-aid. They say that the average USSR family let the kids know that Communism and Socialism were bullshit over the courses of their lives (very carefully with the young kids because they repeat everything they hear). I've briefly chatted with one or two of the folks at The Peoples Cube site who say that they're from old USSR countries and they sort of teen the same.

107 Tami, believe me, I do know. My vet and all of his staff signed a condolence card and sent to me. I had JUST put his bed and bowls and toys away. Then went and checked the mail. Holy mackeral, that kind of sent me over the edge again. But it was very sweet of them.

Glad your doing "ok" though.

109 Slightly less stupid than being an enemy of the cook in a pizza restaurant. No really, you don't want to be the enemy of a cook at a pizza place. Trust me.

113 Shuster has an easy defense. Nobody watchescountdown. Its like he whispered his slander in the cone of silence.

114 Shuster was so accurate with his reporting on Plame and
Scooter Libby.

So true that they made it into a movie. As factually sound as In the Valley of Elah and Redacted too.
