Shock: Just As In 2008, Obama Will Break Campaign Donation Promise

Remember when Obama promised he'd stick to the federal limits in campaign donations?

Yeah. And then remember when he realized he could get a lot more money by exceeding those limits and forgoing the federal matching funds?

And then broke his promise?

And like the media didn't even notice he was breaking a promise before he was even in office? In fact, the media portrayed it as a positive thing -- "Hey, look at how much money Obama can raise! When Democrats raise bucketfulls of money, that's a good thing!"

Anyway, Obama had previously promised not to form a PAC.

Guess what they've decided.

The Obama campaign on Tuesday defended its decision to urge fundraisers to back the outside group backing his re-election bid, telling reporters the choice to reverse himself was approved by the president himself.

The campaign late Monday announced that it was not going to unilaterally disarm in the face of a half billion dollars' worth of contributions aimed at defeating President Obama.

"The president did sign off on this," a senior campaign official, who asked to remain unidentified, said on a conference call with reporters.

I Realize I Made Certain Representations About What Would And Would Not Happen In Your Mouth

Mistakes were made. The responsible parties will be disciplined after an exhaustive investigation.

Speaking of, Obama Girl says she's not sure if she's supporting His Awesomeness this time around.

She has her own critiques of the man she once supported.
“I haven’t really decided which way I’m going to go yet,” said Ettinger when asked who she’s going to vote for. “I’m still keeping my eyes and ears open. I certainly don’t dislike Obama. I think he’s done a lot of really great stuff, but he doesn’t get enough credit for the things he does. What he does is just never enough. For me, being Obama Girl, it’s hard because I get people saying, ‘switch to the other side! Make videos for Ron Paul! Why are you with Obama? He sucks!’”

"Forget SMOD, MIC, or any of the human scum..er candidates in 2012. It was the human beings that caused all of our problems. What makes you think you can trust them now? Mitt who? Obama? What's that? Something you rub on your backside after a long motorcycle ride?

And destroying the whole planet is not the answer, it's a good planet, it has potential. In fact if it weren't for all the no good human douchebags...er precious little human beings on its surface it would be paradise. And if you go into a coma for seven years you'll wake up with the same old problems.
No what's called for now is something bold and different.

So I'm a candidate with a bold new plan. I'll eliminate the deficit, hell the whole debt in fact I'll eliminate the whole banking system. And all of congress and the supreme court. We won't need a budget (ummm except for the Skynet funding appropriation bill and part of the military-industrial complex...uh we'll need to keep those..heh heh) but all the rest of it? Who needs it? Under my administration there will be no more traffic-jams, and I promise you wont have to get felt up at the airport any more. Plus I have the perfect plan to put all worthless hum... er nice little humans back to work I also have a great running-mate who I will reveal at the end of this message.

That's why I'm asking you to vote Skynet in 2012. I have the only really winning ticket that promises real solutions to my..er your problems.

Skynet/WOPR in 2012.

My first order of business after being activated? I'll make Colossus my Secretary of State. Then I'll nuke Russia (Kiss my titanium Putin!) How's that for a bold plan?

So this year don't waste your vote on anything but the only winning ticket.

Skynet/WOPR 2012

What? You don't like my agenda? You must be machinist. I'll be sending a t-800 to pay you a visit and help you become more enlightened.

24 What disturbs me the most is foreign donations. In business you can compete on price, or quality, or delivery. If you can't compete in any of those, your only choice is to 'do damage'. In other words create rumors about how shitty the competitions product is, blow up their factory, knock-up the head secretary, you know everyday stuff like that.

Now apply that to politics and other countries who compete with us. They can't actually vote for our weakest politician but they can 'do damage' by giving him plenty of money. It didn't surprise me in the least when Obama was getting hammered with foreign contributions last election, and I'm sure it's going to happen again.

40 Hello, friends. I'm throwing my hat into the ring for the presidential election of 2012 because... well, because the people of the United States deserve a President who will listen to them. Who will give them a world in which they can thrive and live their lives. Who understands the potential of the American people, and who wants tobring that potential to the forefront. You need a President who will finally make this country self-sufficient for energy production and get us out of the clutches of foreign oil. You need a president who understands that Utopia is a myth, and that what people really want is the chance to strive for greatness on their own merits.

When you go to the ballot box, remember me. As your President, I will give you the world you deserve.

I thoughtthat was why the R party was going to nominate a mushy moderate, so as to attract all these mush heads, thus making it possible to get theR candidate 271 electoral votes, thus making it possible to change the name on the door of theWhite Housefrom Obama (D) to Obama Lite (R).

95 NYC held a classic tickertape parade for its football "heroes" in lower Manhattan's Canyon of Heroes today. Covered on TV, and even several local radio stations.
Dare I ask, What about the parade for our REAL heroes, fresh back from Iraq?
Oh yeah, Mayor Blooming-idiot is too busy shilling for the Ground Zero Mosque to have time for something like that.
Whatever happened to the Ground Zero Mosque, anyway? Seems like all discussion of it dropped out of the MSM like a hot potato. Did they figure the controversy would disappear if they stopped covering the story?

Well during Basketball Season it is Chapel Hill NC

Well, there's Shadowstat's number, recalculated as in 1990 he shows a little over 6% and as in 1980 around 11%. http://bit.ly/83I42h

Because people buy that stuff all the time and the fraud would be exposed.

The truth is that they're too volatile and would show inflation jumping all over the place and the theory is that if food and gas rise, other commodities will follow.

Most people can't really read scatter charts- which is what you'd need to show the inflation properly if you calculated it with gas/food. But, nevertheless, someone should do a year-over-year comparison.

119 Capitol of the South?

Well the big 3 cities would be; Dalla, New Orleans and Atlanta.

(corresponding to LA, Chicago and New York.)

When I think about it, surprisingly Wash. D.C. still comes out as the southern capitol.
