Obama: Tea Partiers Are Racist

Ace was the first to blog about this earlier in the week and now the US News report is available online.

Ladies and gentlemen, your post-racial president:

But Obama, in his most candid moments, acknowledged that race was still a problem. In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent "Tea Party" movement that was then surging across the country. Many middle-class and working-class whites felt aggrieved and resentful that the federal government was helping other groups, including bankers, automakers, irresponsible people who had defaulted on their mortgages, and the poor, but wasn't helping them nearly enough, he said.

A guest suggested that when Tea Party activists said they wanted to "take back" their country, their real motivation was to stir up anger and anxiety at having a black president, and Obama didn't dispute the idea. He agreed that there was a "subterranean agenda" in the anti-Obama movementa racially biased onethat was unfortunate. But he sadly conceded that there was little he could do about it.

Yes, he's exactly who we thought he was.

Added Thought [DrewM.] So if you want to "take back" America you're a racist? Well then, what do you call someone who give a speech at conference called "Take Back America"? You might want to ask Barack Obama who spoke at this conference at least two times.

The group that organized these conferences that hosted Obama even have a music video with a song called...Take Back America.

Oh wait, that's ok because they are "progressives".

Thanks to Gabe for letting me add this.

8 Pretty easy to understand how he might think this is true. Easier than admitting to yourself that you are an abject failure at your job. Better to blame it on unquantifiable "subterranean" racism.... Lame, in the extreme.

9 Of course he wants the guests at a private White House dinner to believe that anyone who doesn't support Obama's policy agenda is racist. Because then those guests will have to prove they aren't racists themselves by writing big checks to the DNC and Organizing for America.

Wasn't helping them nearly enough? Bullshit. It was because we were expected to pay the bill for all the bailouts. Big f*cking difference.

The tea party peeps aren't some group looking for a hand out. They just want the governments hand out of their back pockets.

11 Okay, Teapartiers are racist. So what are democrats? This is the party that incorporates a Congressional Black Caucus that required Fannie and Freddie to discard basic underwriting principles as a payoff for supporting Clinton's welfare reform. This is the party that demands "racial homelands" designation for congressional districts. This is the party that demands unequal treatment under the law to implement "Affirmative Action". The only reason this clymer is in the WH is he can mau-mau blacks and self loathing whites. The man with no resume or past gets elected because he is black and we are the racists.

You must be
a racist if:

1. You disagree with any
Obama policy.

2. You fight against the CBC
and Pigford because you think it is a fraud and a scam.

3. You are against
set-asides, affirmative action, quotas, diversity, and any other organized
policy that violates the civil rights act of 1964 by favoring one race over
another in policy.

4. You are against ANY politicians
who use their office as a means to advance their relatives and cronies using
federal dollars, including black politicians.

5. You are for enforcing ALL
laws equally among ALL people.

6. You urge voter picture ID
cards to prevent voting fraud.

7. And most of all, you must
be a racist if you want to keep your own money and not give it to welfare
drones and drug addicts.

Among all the other reasons I'm looking forward to him being defeated in 2012 is the simple fact that he's an embarrassment to the Office. Ticks me off that our history books are going to be stained with his base appeals to the lowest common denominator, and his low-rent dishonesty, for all time.

87 One thing to consider is that Obama, in his head, conflates the birth certificate movement with the Tea Party movement.

So what if he does? The friggin' President needs to to show his birth certificate to the various states just to get on the ballot (though the states all abdicated their responsibilities in this area). Calls for documentation are perfectly legitimate, and then some. And the Indonesian Imbecile knows, better than most, that he's ineligible.

In any event, the Indonesian Imbecile has been calling Tea Partiers (and pretty much all Americans) "raaaaacissssssts" since he first started running. He was bouncing these two troublemakers out of the club, when they started trying to give him some flak. A nearby officer came up to see if he needed some help. One of the two tried to claim that he was being racist against Vietnamese. My brother started cracking up. When the officer asked what was so funny, my brother told them "my mother is Vietnamese!" yeah, that shut them up.

138 What I don't get is...I actually know Democrats who loathe Obama. They supported Dems for fifty years, but hate Obama. Now, why is that? A reasonable case could be made that race plays a factor. It might not, it could be Obama's personality. But a reasonable charge could be levied.

Meanwhile, I loathe Obama the same way I loathe Harry Reid and Dick Durbin. I could be a racist, who knows? But you certainly couldn't make the charge based on my politics. There's no doubt I'd oppose him no matter what.

You know what smart libs actually believe, but won't say? That Independants and Moderates are motivated by race in backtracking. In their heart of hearts, they know conservatives oppose the president for his status as a liberal. They DO think, however, that moderate whites who aren't republicans have been motivated by race. But they can't say this at ALL. It'd be political suicide. Attacking swing voters? Please. So, they accuse conservatives of "inciting" racism to "win votes".

Of course, it's all bullshit. Obama won more Indy's and Moderates than Clinto, Gore or Kerry. The idea that they voted for him and just now discovered how much they hate blacks is absurd. Of course, it's not like Obama is black anyway.

From this morning's Savannah Morning News:

Two local lawmakers want more documentation from Barack Obama if he's
to be on Georgia's 2012 ballot as a candidate for re-election.
They
back a bill related to disputes over whether Obama meets the U.S.
Constitution's mandate that the president be a natural-born citizen.
Savannah
Republicans Ron Stephens and Ben Watson - plus about 90 other state
House members - are co-sponsoring legislation by Mark Hatfield.
Rep.
Ann Purcell, R-Rincon, who represents west Chatham County, initially
signed on as a co-sponsor, but withdrew her support Wednesday.
Stephens said it's important to verify that candidates meet the constitutional requirement.
"This bill goes to the heart of the matter," he said. "It's what we ought to do and one of the most American things we can do."
Sen. Ben Watson is Rep. Jack Kingston's b-i-l.
