Ogabe's enviro-freak Energy "czar" Browner to be axed, position to be eliminated

Another one under the bus.

...Carol Browner is leaving her position as White House "energy czar," and a staff shake-up is likely to eliminate her post altogether, according to Democrats familiar with events...

Carol Browner: victim of the reelection pivot strategy. With Billy Jeff, it was a lot easier for the electorate to swallow since he his ideological basis was always pretty soft to begin with. Bill is and was a babes and good times kinda guy, any ideology was strictly eyewash for scoring hot leftist babes.

If you're trying to convince businesses you're not completely hostile towards them, and maybe they should hire more people, this is nice gesture by Obama, but it comes long after the horse has left the barn. Nobody is going to respond to gestures and B.S. anymore like they did two years ago. They'll want something more substantial than the sacking of some ridiculous czar.

Not that many will be foolish enough to actually believe Obama of course, but teh one must keep up appearances and toss an occasional scrap to the rabble. Give the MFM something to masticate on for a while to distract them from other weightier issues.

1 I'd like to see the new congress consider new laws strictly limiting the Czars of the executive branch. The president can have as many advisers as she wants but they should not be allowed to direct personnel or dictate policy in the various departments. Those powers should come directly on down through the cabinet secretaries.

Yep, key words there, gesture, rhetoric, and other non-action verbs. He is trying to pull a Clinton and act like he is "triangulating".

When he redirects the EPA to quit harassing the shit out of businesses and kill the unconstitutional CO2 regulations I may believe him a little more.

But just in case, we should also have the House give the EPA zero budget.

7 My thought on these "czars" was that they actually replaced the Department Head for significant sections of the department.

It is a mechanism to get people in place who would not be approved by the Senate. People who are avowed communists would have a hard time getting approval even from Dems in the Senate.

They are plainly unconstitutional.

That is because the MFM is out to sell news with hype. Too many people listen to them, especially on the right. Even here in the Moron Nation we have far too many people quoting them for stuff as if it were true.

Presidents have always appointed special envoys to particularly problematic areas, and they routinely stepped on the toes of the Sec State. Those aren't my concern.
Policy is dictated from above, so these czars aren't doing anything that Obama(pbuh) or Axelrod or Emanuel don't want done. From an organizational standpoint these are terribly inefficient and in some ways destructive positions. I think that they are examples not of Obama's contempt for the constitution and the rule of law, but his executive incompetence.

18 I think you all should be prepared for a complete makeover tonight.

I noticed in the Arizona speech that he seems to have hired a new speechwriter (and probably a new speech coach as well). That speech was much more poetic and lyrical (looked at purely on style points) than anything he has given, including the Inaugural.

This morning ABC radio was saying that this speech will not be a laundry list, but rather a positive affirmation of America.

I expect his points will go up. I also think that the Daley brothers are now in charge, and they do not want to see the democrat brand destroyed. Browner being canned is one of those decisions that is going to move Obama back to the center for public consumption.

No, I don't think this is a permanent decision, nor do I think it is one that Obama is comfortable with; he is a child of the far left.

But I think he wants to keep his job, and I think the Daleys want him to keep it so that democrats in the lower tiers keep THEIR jobs. The danger, of course, is that once he gainid a second term he would do more country-destroying stuff and we would be screwed.

The correct response to this speech is "Is this the REAL Obama?" Or is the angry and arrogant person we have seen for 2 years the real Barry?

Carol Browner in the Obama Regime was simply the lead motor-mouth trying to get Cap 'N Trade through as law. That failed, thankfully.
It will be a long a hard battle to discredit and stop the stupidity of the Green movement and the attendant politics of it. Even now, many large corporations (like the one I work for) have openly embraced this nonsense for PR purposes, at least.

29 But I think he wants to keep his job ...

And there you have the real driving force behind all of this apparent moderation ... a nightmarish fear of being embarrassed. For an egomaniac like Obama, mere electoral loss would be a soul-crushing humiliation.

Even viewed charitably, his man is a liar and a fraud through and through. As we've already seen, he's perfectly willing to throw even his own grandmother and lifelong friends under the bus if it helps him get his way.

Obama might not be the worst President we've ever had (then again, he just might be), but he is certainly the smallest man to ever be President.

And more on point to the original post: I share the view of several others that, yes, the general public actually is so ignorant that they think he's doing a better job now, and they might actually re-elect his commie ass. How could they not be when they get virtually all of their news from television, where nice-looking liberal Democrats with fake tans lie to them night after night on the evening news?

Businessmen, though? Not so much. No one with a brain would put a penny in play anywhere near a company this administration might be interested in meddling with. For the time being, I look for corporations to continue to internalize profits and "hoard" cash (which we call paying down debt and saving), and new hiring to continue to lag far behind Administration expectations. They don't appear to have any recognition of how badly their own actions harmed the economy along the way, so, not surprisingly, they don't have any idea what to do about it now.

When I research a topic, I may be interested in just the methods, a specific result, the interpretation, or perhaps I just want to see a summary of the paper to determine if it is relevant to my study. To this end, many journals require the following sections, submitted in the order listed, each section to start on a new page.

There are variations of course. Some journals call for a combined results and discussion, for example, or include materials and methods after the body of the paper. The well known journal Science does away with separate sections altogether, except for the abstract.

53 It's right here that yesterday in Bible study we were discussing what evil angels do, and the topic came around to discrimination. I said there are two kinds of research paper discrimination. The first is what we think of usually - when we make judgments based on what doesn't matter, like not voting for somebody because of their race or gender research paper. That's bad discrimination. But there is discrimination that's good and necessary. For instance, "You have no way to pay this loan back; therefore I'm not going to give it to you." When we don't properly discriminate, evil thrives research paper.

I explained that the KGB wanted to get rich, powerful people in media, education, and business to believe it would be good to have a society with NO discrimination research paper. That doesn't just mean we don't have the bad discrimination, but also that we don't have the good discrimination. So there's no difference between those who work and those who don't, research paper those who make sound choices and those who don't, etc. Everyone is guaranteed the same outcome regardless of what they do. Nothing we do matters research paper. That's what communism is, and people who live under it often end up alcoholics or an average of 6 abortions in their lifetime. If what we do doesn't matter, we lose the will to live. That's the legacy of communism research paper.

I mentioned that Yuri Bezmenov was amazed at how the openly-communist folks from the '60's are in control of media, education, and business. And wherever someone totally controls the flow of ideas research paper, it's ripe for the devil and his surrogates to lie and deceive. As long as the realities of life and the truth are observable to everyone, we're not going to wander too far from reality research paper. But when the truth is hidden, people can't learn from reality.

Then I made my fatal error. I mentioned that all of the news companies have the proof that Obama is a member of The New Party - a branch of the Democratic Socialists of America research paper. I was going to say that they won't let anyone know that truth research paper. We can make our choices for whatever reason we think best, but when someone needs to deceive us, evil is at work and we need to watch out.

Before I could finish, though, a lady jumped up waving her arms and shouting that we shouldn't talk about this in church. Church is for how we're supposed to become better people research paper. Then she and her husband stormed out.

Later, someone commented that the devil can work wherever he wants to, and if we refuse to consider his role in any area of our life, we give him free rein there research paper. Another added, "I think it was clear that the devil was right here in Bible study - and didn't like being recognized." It's right here.
