Chuck Schumer: The American People Did Say "Repeal ObamaCare" and "Reduce the Size of Government" In The Election

At Hot Air, Schumer continues this line of thought to say that they didn't say extend the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthiest Americans, but let's just focus on that first part.

He concedes the electorate did demand a repeal of ObamaCare. And a reduction in the size of government.

What is his justification then for refusing to join an override against Obama's veto of a bill repealing ObamaCare?

The defeated Iowa governor is giving raises to AFSCME employees during the lame duck. I'm not sure if they can be rolled back but even if they could in theory, Iowans left one house chamber in charge of the Democrats.

They won. They're not accountable. They have no basic honor or decency.

They have no independent morality. Passing laws against the will of the people is just fine because the will of the people doesn't matter in the service of the agenda. The ends justify the means. They hate invasive airport screening, until a Democrat is in charge. They don't get very fourth amendmenty anymore, do they?

This is what I heard:

Obamacare is Bad
Reduce the regulatory State / Nanny state
Reduce spending
Get the banks and wall street under control
Get rid of the Bush Tax cuts for the highest earners.

Those were the main issues. Very little mention of social issues.
