Megyn Kelly-Kirsten Powers Cat Fight! UPDATE: Video Added

The 10 Minutes fight between Megyn Kelly and Kirsten Powers on FNC may be the greatest ten minutes of television, ever.

I mean it.

Somebody please send me this clip. Not only did Kelly reveal Powers to be a know-nothing mouthpiece for the left (something I've always asserted), but she further owned her for knowing next to zero about the New Black Panther case.

Now I know why Dylan named his album "Blonde on Blonde". That's shorthand for "so awesome it hurts", isn't it?

UPDATE [DrewM.] Because I'm a giver. It starts about 2:45 in. Not sure what the history is between them but there's got to be some because Megyn just ripped into her from the get go. Either that or it's the greatest set up for attention ever.

BTW- This is the video that was release that Kirsten Powers doesn't find intimidating.

10 That was just awesome. I think Kirstin was going to cry at the end.

So ... the lefties are all going with "astounding ignorance" as their defense. That fits pretty well with the Jersey ruling that Fox just talked about where they said that cops must communicate with people in their native language ... even while they're drunk ... especially when they're drunk!

It's almost over.

28 knowing next to zero about the New Black Panther case

That's what I was talking about 2 threads below.

It's like the media treats these stories like Fight Club. How can any pundit (legal or otherwise) not know enough about the NBPP dust up?

It isn't that Fox News is conservative, it's that Fox will talk about the stories the MFM won't even discuss.

In any case, she's really taking it to the libs today. Whatever she drank this morning, I wanna send her a case. And a case to all the other softball-throwing enabling turds (think Hannity, O'Reilly, Sheplet Smith -- when he's not dribbling over Barefoot Bandit) that populate TV "news."

If we had more of Megyn's brand of hard-core "is it right or not?" questioning, along with a hefty dose of "don't change the subject," Osma Obama would still be an affirmative-action community organizer.

Kirsten is really hot for a leftie. She brought up some good points, but I think Megyn's points were stronger.

I don't think the guy outside of the polling place was THAT big a deal.

The NBPP guy was acting against the policy of the NBPP, so the case specifically against NBPP as a group may have been overturned on appeal. (but not against the specific guy).

What is disturbing/interesting is that the DOJ got a default judgement, and then dismissed it because of the race of the defendant(s).

So it wasn't so much the merits of the case, It was more so the unusual act of the DOJ to "un-win" a case they had already won.

Imagine if someone got a speeding ticket, and didn't show up to the court date, and they were automatically found guilty, as is almost always the case. And then, because the prosecutor was a black guy, and the guy who didn't show up to court was black, the prosecutor said "oh thats ok we will dismiss the case because the facts don't support the case and we might have been overturned on appeal". Prosecutors just don't do that.

That is the problem here.

160 I don't think the guy outside of the polling place was THAT big a deal.
I lived in Philadelphia fifteen years, and to see a couple knuckleheads like that milling around really isn't a big deal. Hanging out in front of a polling place on election day is what makes the difference.
Otherwise, Philadelphia is home to a radio station - 900 on the AM dial - that regularly broadcasts anti-whitey hate speech. There has never been one peep from anyone at the Inquirer or Daily News about the anti-caucasian racism on that station. There was a TV show on public access TV every Sunday night which featured some African-American guys in crazy outfits bellowing their special all-Black religion. They had a table set up in front of the Gallery, and their presentation could have been very intimidating for those who didn't know better. Because essentially, they were knuckleheads.
I'm glad that these NBPs made Philadelphia the national focus of negative attention. I hope Mayor Nutless is really proud of his inaction and his reluctance to address the knuckleheaded in his own town.

164 Powers knew what she was doing.

She threw in several personal attacks and lies just hoping to distract.

Several times it worked relatively well.

If you don't have a case, pound the table and distract. When Kirstin noted she had asked questions about a completely unrelated story, Powers started repeatedly saying 'and you didn't ask'. Obvious attempt to get Meghan off track.

Kirsten's initial argument was that she didn't see this as a big deal, that Meghan was racist and scared of the big black man, that it wasn't intimidation at all. At the end of the video, she's saying she completely agreed it was intimidation, but it's not like Obama's DOJ 'did nothing' (which is a ridiculously low bar).

Meghan caught on to this really fast, probably because it was completely expected. The idea that a Republican Bush administration preferring conservative employees is somehow similar to Obama's DOJ dropping cases because of race is so insane and disgusting.

At some point, these sophist democrats need to reevaluate their politics if they knowingly distort to this ridiculous extent in service of partisanship. They look like braindead zombies.

LOL.

Show me a debate like this on CNN or MSNBC or NYT or NPR or ABC or CBS.

They may have some debates, but you will not see this kind of thing. There's a reason FNC is crushing the opposition. I can't stand TV news, but this is the best there is right now.

And the fact is, it is completely normal for debates to have stipulations agreed upon across all debaters. For example, one in this debate is that blacks and whites are equals and all deserve the right to vote. Anyone arguing with that would not be allowed on.

198 I don't think KP was a lightweight so much as she tried to pull the normal Dem response to anything like this; lie about everything and try to change the topic.

Megyn didn't want to call her a liar because she is a paid Fox commentator so she just said she didn't know what she was talking about.

Bush's US Attorneys were conservatives. He had a preference for hiring conservatives.Really. That's what Kirsten was comparing to outright racism. Even though Obama has a preference for liberals and Clinton fired every single US Attorney except one partisan democrat and filled them with exclusively like minded liberals. Bush did a similar thing (though to a lesser extent) and the democrats had nothing better to work with to accuse him of corruption. They know Bush's defenders were likely to simply note: this is normal and OK and within Bush's rights as executive. The GOP could have said "well, Clinton did the same thing! They are just as bad", except it wasn't really bad.Classic democrat sophists. And obviously a red herring. By the time we discuss this, the flow of the argument against Holder's DOJ racism is broken. That's all this was about.I learned in law school, a trial tactics course, to throw in an objection if I can when a witness is doing my case great damage. Just try to break up the flow of their communication. Powers clearly thought her case was so bad this was the best option she had. She's right.

Presumably, she was referring to Alberto Gonzales who fired a number of US attorneys for essentially political reasons and which was, and is, a standard practice. Clinton fired every US attorney when he was elected and that was OK. Gonzo fired a few and that was a crime. So it's practically the same as stationing thugs with nightsticks outside of polling places.

Republicans send poll watchers out. Their primary purpose is to identify long lines so that the problem is fixed and the poll isn't ordered by a democrat to stay open late (when the really egregious fraud occurs).

Sometimes, some really screwy shit is noticed. Usually in the inner city where the election judge is an overt partisan and many fundamental steps are simply ignored to foment chaos. They call the Republican (often an out of state lawyer, white, male) some kind of intimidating presence.

But I thought Kirsten was mainly referring to the 'politicizing' of the DOJ.

Bush isn't the president right now. It's fine to criticize him, but doing so to interrupt a scandal about Obama is obviously a dishonest attempt to cover for current crimes. Kirsten wants more voter intimidation.

I didn't particularly like Bush much of the time. But the one clear difference between Bush at his squishiest/dumbest and Osama Obama is that Bush loves America. You can't honestly say that about the Traitor-in-Chief, even though it is America that elevated far beyond his abilities, and is possibly the only nation this side of Venezuela, North Korea of Kenya that would have done so..Oh, yeah: if you're going to diss someone for not being able to string two sentences together, using words like "truelly" and could'nt somehow makes your argument less persuasive.Let he who is without sin... and all that.

Let me see if I can help you comprehend. Nobody here supported Bush because we thought he was an articulate speaker. Clearly he wasn't and isn't and unlike when Obama says something epically stupid like he visited all 57 states during the campaign the MSM was there to pump up the volume and make every gaffe seem like it was tragic. But Bush wasn't and isn't stupid. I don't know anyone who supported Bush on everything but he was honest and good hearted and he took responsibility for his actions.

Obama on the other hand does an excellent job reading the words others write for him as long as the teleprompter's batteries hold out but he has proven to be dishonest, hyper-partisan and incompetent. But perhaps his worst characteristic is to blame any issue on someone else, usually Bush. This is a loathsome quality in an average person, in the President of the US it is beneath contempt.

Obama ran for the Presidency specifically because he said he could "fix" all of Bush's evil policies. He has proven to be a human clusterfuck and a weak man. Bush had his faults but compared to Obama his Presidency was a model.

302 Iraq, as Obama and Biden admit, is a massively good thing Bush did for the world.

I laugh at liberals who bring it up as a strike against Bush.

Bush handled the 2001 recession that Clinton left him by being an idiot about terrorists.

Obama made it worse.

Bush handled Katrina well, albeit it sucked.

Obama made the gulf spill much worse and continues to ruin the gulf economy.

Bush hired conservative lawyers

Obama's liberal lawyers have an overtly racist policy of enforcement.

I can see why liberals only want to talk about Bush.

But I would vote for Bush over Obama in 2012. We'd be very lucky to have that choice. Anyone who would choose Obama over Bush at this point is a nutjob.

You're kinda stupid so let me use small words. The Supreme Court did nothing but properly interpret the Constitution. This is their job. I know this is tough for a liberal to comprehend but that's how the system is supposed to work.

And incidentally, the ruling also lets unions pour the money they take from their members into campaigns. For all the whining you liberals do about evil corporations and the influence they have on politicians you seem blissfully unconcerned when Obama puts thugs from the SEIU/ACORN in senior positions in his administration.

Just a fun fact that you are not likely to encounter in DU or Kos, in the last decade unions have poured hundreds of millions of dollars into campaigns, almost exclusively to Democrats. Here's the facts.

http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list.php

What Obama was pissed about was not that the SC did it's job properly. He doesn't give a damn about the law as he demonstrates all the time. What he was pissed about is that corporations now have the power to counter the union money. Tough shit.

Reagan was brilliant, and never got credit for it. He wrote his ideas about government down and gave thousands of speeches about those ideas for decades and those ideas finally won the day.
W was so dumb that he managed to survive flying second-generation fighter aircraft without getting killed, which is no small feat. My dad is still the smartest man I've ever known (received his aeronautical engineering degree from St. Louis U. in under 3 years), but he washed out of Air Force flight school when they were using only the P-80 (first generation jet not nearly as complex or difficult and dangerous to fly than an F-102). Dad says the P-80 was "always 5 miles ahead of my brain." Somehow W with his shockingly inferior intellect, possessed a brain that was able to keep up. Yes, we went to Iraq for oil and then, just to throw you liberal super sleuths off the scent, we allowed the Iraqis (who we secretly control with the Haliburton Mind Control Machine) to open their oil fields to international bidding. It's all part of the master plan.

Of course, as Fortney "Pete" Stark (D-Assholio) so wisely pointed out on the House floor no less, Bush and Cheney needed some entertainment and nothing entertains evil Republicans like seeing our soldiers die so there was that too.

But what really made the plan so monstrously evil was getting the support of virtually everyone in the Clinton administration and Hillary to boot and a majority in both houses of Congress. This despite the fact that Congress was privy to the exact same intelligence information as the Bush administration was. Evil genius.

Then she can pull out the intellectual machete and hack them to pieces as they try to claim that "law of Naturalization" means residency (which it doesn't - the federal government gets its responisibilities over legal residency from national security and the need to guard against invasion, not a law of naturalization which merely dictates what circumstances and/or actions lead to American citizenship) and hit them with Art IV, Sec 2, "Citizens of each State" and the Constitution thus identifying, explicitly, each State government's likewise responsibilities for the population present on its sovereign territory.

There were a few times Powers looked like a teenager. Like when she said, "Like," and when she snorted and flipped her hair and said, "No fair!" The best was when Megan brought up the multiple injunctions and how they were dismissed. This was after Powers admitted this was voter intimidation and wrong. "I never said it wasn't wrong! Don't put words in my mouth!" So, Megan says, "Then you admit it was wrong." Brings up the civil rights hero appointed by Kennedy to the DOJ and how he said it was the worst case of voter intimidation he had ever witnessed in America. Kelly emphasizes that the Obama administration dropped the injunctions despite credible testimony. Powers says, "Well, shyeah." Then goes on a rant that Bush only appointed conservatives ...like that is somehow corrupt or unusual? It was a pathetic showing by Kirsten Powers.

She didn't agree it was wrong. Only a moron would interpret her comment that way. She was saying that even if it were wrong, it's not relevant to this wrong. It's dismissing the illogical argument without falling for the trap: the trap is defending Bush era policies all day long, right or wrong.

Obama's zombies want to bring up Bush because, even if you defend him well, he's not running for reelection... it really gets the right no where. If we waste our time talking about that every time some major scandal involving Obama comes up, Obama gets away with his crimes. It's just smarter to say 'two wrongs don't make a right, shut up about the irrelevant stuff and let's talk about Obama's disasters."

Of course, the democrats understand exactly what they are doing. Shouting at a monotone voice to make the video unwatchable, lying about racism, contradicting themselves to make the topic about them instead of Obama... these people are happy to intimidate voters and steal elections. They are democrats."

The Wise Latina. Quite possibly the only appointment who could have made Harriet Myers look good.

Kagan. Another liberal idiot who has not only routinely lost at the SC but had the justices question her understanding of the law.

389 The testamony of other witnesses was far more damning than the video tape. Little old black ladies actually were seen to be turned away from the polls. Many were intimadated according to testimony. And Obama said it would be okay if they did it again in the next presidential election. How is that anything? It doesn't even stop them or slow them down.
I like Megyn Kelly but I suspect she had a bug up her ass for some reason that day. Kirsten was bafflingly disconnected from events and clearly had not read the damning testimony.
I also hate it when democrats start saying things like; "Well it happned thousands of times under BUSH!" Which is insane. You cannot just wave vaguely off in the distance and say, "well they did too!" I want to see the evidence, I want the testmony, I want it all."
I have heard a number of people try to excuse this by saying, "well black people see cops at the polls and feel intimidated and don't vote." So naturally they put on these military costumes and shout at people and threaten them at the polls. This doesnt' bother democrats because the panther voted for democrats.
Uh, cops are black too! And they are there to protect and serve. Why would they scare you unless you were voting illegally? That is no excuse to allow blacks to intimidate other blacksor other races.

391 I thought KP did pretty good. Am I alone?
I'd say that's probably a safe bet. Powers got her ass handed to her, big time. She tried talking in generalities, Kelly nailed her. She tried misstating facts, Kelly nailed her. She tried the old "But Bush was terrible" routine even though Bush has been out of office for almost 2 years now and this had absolutely nothing to do with the Bush Administration, nor did anything even remotely like this happen on Bush's watch, and again Kelly nailed her to the wall.
Powers obviously knew nothing about the case, knew nothing about the witness testimony, knew nothing at all about the underlying facts of the story at all. She came on there completely unprepared to do anything other than spout liberal talking points, and it showed.
Kelly ripped her a new one, and rightfully so - Powers attempts at obfuscation and just trying to BS her way through were completely transparent. My favorite part, when Kelly turns to the audience and apologizes for having a guest who was so completely unprepared on her show. That pretty much summed it all up for me.
Nope, Powers does this on most of the programs she's on, comes on, spouts liberal talking points, obfuscates, constructs strawmen and then argues them instead of facts. Kelly didn't let her get away with any of that crap, and Powers came off looking like exactly what she is, a lightweight who was completely out of her league.
Hats off to Megyn Kelly. I'd absolutely love to see a lot more of the so called "journalists" out there run a lot more interviews like that. This notion that you let the person continue to spin and repeat the same nonsensical crap over and over again and never really answer a question just pisses me off, and when a hack like Powers gets away with it for that long it's really refreshing to finally see someone take her to task for her obvious lack of knowledge of the subject matter.

IOW Kirsten was making the "tu quoque" fallacy and Kelly didn't let her get away with it.

My favorite is the part where Powers tries to accuse Kelly of twisting her words. Very typical liberal slant there. Whiny, self absorbed and in full-on denial. She couldn't even watch Kelly's interview with the former DOJ guy, apparently. Will she take Gibbs' spot when he retires in a tiddly-fit? She'd be perfect in that administration.

So are you the only dumbshit in your family, or is it a genetic thing? Powers hadn't read the testmony before the civil rights commission. Unfortunately, this puts you in the same camp as KP - someone who just doesn't know what the Hell they're talking about.

KP pretty much OPENED by saying that this wasn't intimidation, which is plain wrong. She followed by accusing Megyn of being a racist (the "scary black man" comment), tried to change the subject to "evil BOOOOSH", and whenever she asked Megyn a question, she ignored the answer (i.e. MK told KP at least three times that MK had asked Adams about the Bush cases, and KP kept asking MK why she didn't ask him.

She also said there was no intimidation, then whined that people were accusing her of saying there was no intimidation. And ignored MK's answer about what should have been done.

KP clearly didn't have a single God Damned clue in the world what the controversy was about, was prepared to accuse Adams of being a liar based on nothing and ignoring all the other witnesses (and yes there are other witnesses at the DOJ, which you probably don't know 'cause you're as ignorant as KP is).

All in all, KP completely beclowned herself, Megyn was just the method she chose to do it.

If someone was invited into MY house and acted like KP did, they'd be escorted out, I don't need any ignorant lying false-accusing loudmouth boors around here. In other words, Megyn was more patient than I think a lot of people would have been.

And please, do tell, what "valid point" did KP have that was relevant? Was it something she said before or after the video I saw of the event?

Kelly - the second best example of a journalist (or lawyer) acting like a genuine human being that I've seen (Santelli still takes the cake, soz MK).

I'd still say Chris Wallace is the biggest gun Fox deploys (pushing Bubba into losing his cool is one of the most underrated journalistic achievements of the last 20 years) But Megyn Kelly just totally impressed the hell out of me and she's capable of taking the crown off his head.

Megyn - please request an interview with Eric Holder - and one with Elena Kagan. And, why not, Helen Thomas, too. Raise holy hell when every one of the requests gets ignored.

I will concede that , in my momentary exasperation with Ms. Kelly, I was cranky and, oh, perhaps just a wee bit too strident, actuallywith a tone similar to Ms. Kelly's tone to which I was objecting.
But I wasn't taking issue so much with what she said as with the way that she said it. Inasmuch as they work for the same network, Ms. Kelly could have been more courteous with Ms. Powers, especially since Ms. Powers is always at a distinct disadvantage whenevershe goes up against people on FOX like Ms. Kelly and Sean Hannity.
I don't share Ms. Powers'opinions or her viewpoints. But I like her and I admire her spunk, and she has never behaved in a way that would justify rude treatment of her. (Unlike Alan Colmes, who deserves a smack upside his head.)
In her anxiousness to make her own points, Ms. Kelly wasn't listening to Ms. Powers and she was talking over Ms. Powers and she wasbeing inappropriately snotty and condescending with Ms. Powers, instead of systematically addressing Ms. Powers' comments point by point, which would have been more effective.
Sean Hannity makes Alan Colmes look foolish, too. But he does it nicely and jokingly without becoming impatient, snotty and condescending with Colmes.
In her discussion with Ms. Powers, Ms. Kelly came across as being impatient and rude, and inappropriately so, in view of the circumstances..
If you thinkMs. Kelly's behaviorwas appropriate, that is your prerogative. Your comments show, however, that you were tuning out what Ms.Powers was saying, presumably because you disagreed with her positions on issues. I disagree with her, also. But I understand the points that she was trying to make, and, therefore, I wished that Ms. Kelly would have shut up and allowed Ms. Powers to make her points, out of common courtesy if for no other reason. BTW, you attributed comments to Ms. Powers that she simply didn't make. But then, you have a tendency to read things into statements which simply aren't there, coming up with contrived and bogus assertions, so as to advance your own agenda, which is shallow at best.
Try to be fair and objective. You will have more credibility. Kirsten Powers is more tolerable than many liberals are.

Posted by: Doo Dah, Doo Dah at July 14, 2010 07:37 AM (sYrWB)

418 BTW, if you listen to that video without watching it, and if you are fair and reasonably astite, you will recognize that Ms, Kelly was deliberately misinterpreting Ms. Powers' comments and taking Ms. Powers's words out of context and twisting Ms. Powers' words in a sleazy attempt to make Ms. Powers sound foolish.
Ms. Kelly is an attorney, and an unscrupulous andsomewhat unethical one at that. That is apparent every time that she speaks. She gets a little bit too smug and too cutesy for her own good. It isn't surprising that she no longer practices law. Her demeanor is such thata savvy attorney would clean her clock in a courtroom, and she would try the patience of most judges..

420 ..... and if you are reasonably astute, also .......,
(BTW, you atributed comments to Ms. Powers which Ms. Kelly said that Ms. Powers said, but which were not what Ms. Powers said.Try to sort out who said what before you make irresponsible allegations.)

Posted by: Doo Dah, Doo Dah at July 14, 2010 08:45 AM (sYrWB)

421 I will concede that , in my momentary exasperation with Ms. Kelly, I was cranky and, oh, perhaps just a wee bit too strident, actuallywith a tone similar to Ms. Kelly's tone to which I was objecting.
Funny, I don't recall Kelly saying to Powers that she deserved to be spit on. I do recall you making such a statement about Kelly.
Inasmuch as they work for the same network, Ms. Kelly could have been more courteous with Ms. Powers, especially since Ms. Powers is always at a distinct disadvantage whenevershe goes up against people on FOX like Ms. Kelly and Sean Hannity.
In as much as this is Powers job, and she's supposed to have at least a basic grasp of the facts she's commenting on and obviously didn't, I'd say she got what she deserved. She walked in there completely unprepared, tried to BS her way through, got called on it and then tried to obfuscate and even threw in the racial red herring (scary black man indeed). Powers got exactly what she deserved.
Your comments show, however, that you were tuning out what Ms.Powers was saying, presumably because you disagreed with her positions on issues.
Try again dipshit. I wasn't tuning out what Powers was saying, I didn't have too, she never said anything substantive at all. But since apparently you've appointed yourself fairness monitor, by all means, point out on salient point Powers made that is actually supported by the facts. I'll wait.
Try to be fair and objective. You will have more credibility. Kirsten Powers is more tolerable than many liberals are.
My position onvarious issuesis based on facts. If you think it's "unfair" that I have so little tolerance for bullshit artists, well I guess that's your perogative. But I honestly don't give a rat's ass what you think of my credibility, and I have no compunction about pointing out when someone is full of crap, be they liberal or conservative. So, perhaps you should try to be a little less full of shit yourself. It might improve your credibility. My, that is condescending as hell, isn't it? Well, at least I didn't threaten to spit on you now did I?

Still waiting for you to post anything factual that would make me change my assessment of Powers performance. Instead you do just as she did, obfuscate and change subjects.
In short, your full of shit. The only fool here is you troll boy. Crawl back to Kos with the rest of your liberal ilk. Your way out of your league here.
Learn how to spell and how to use proper grammar. You write at a 3rd grade level.
Rotfl.. standard libertard blog retort, when you have no case, no facts to present, attack spelling and grammar. Pathetic. BTW genius, before you start lobbing the tired stones of grammar and spelling mistakes, you might want to check your own postings a bit more carefully. That's a big ass glass house your living in and not likely to hold up well if you keep throwing rocks like that against the side of it.

426 Powers kept bringing up the report about the Republicans giving employment preference to conservatives at DOJ during the Bush Administration. I may be wrong but I do not think the report accused the Bush DOJ of refusing to investigate cases based on race or politics.

So in other words when I ask, repeatedly, for you to back up your statements regarding Powers performance, youdemonstrate yet again that you cannot. You've still produced nothing other than a bunch of childish nonsense often heard on the pre-school playground.
Yes, there is little doubt your nothing more than yet another liberal troll talking out of your ass. Well, by all means if you ever do come up with a single fact to support your position, let me know.
Powers tried a similar strategy with Kelly, and got crushed. I think it's fair to say you have too, seeing as how you still can present nothing to support your idiotic assertions and have nothing left but childish behaviour.

435 (sigh) Let me spell it out for you, shit-for-brains.
I don't give a flying fuck what Kirstin Powers thinks on any issue.
My exasperation was with theinappropriate way that Megyn Kelly conducted herself with one of her ownco-workers. It's not like Kirsten Powers is another Alan colmes. She is a nice girl, albeit a misguided one. Ms. Kelly shouldn't have been so rough on her.
But you've proven yourself to besuch acrass peasant that it isn't surprising that you're defending Ms. Kelly's inappropriately snotty behavior. You don't know any better.
Too bad that Ms. Kelly wasn't as patient with Ms. Powers as I've been with you.

Kirsten Powers Hubby-

Yeah, actually, you can dress in anything you want outside of a polling place.

So I would not have a problem with someone dressing in a KKK hood outside of a polling place, and just doing the exact stuff I saw on the video.

It's the actions that are important, not what someone is wearing.

From the video I saw, I didn't see anything that rose to the level of a crime. If there was OTHER stuff that happened that wasn't on the polling-place video, then it's a bigger deal. That has more to do with the specifics of the case, though, and not DOJ policy.

The REALLY big deal is the Department of Justice changing their minds on the case because the defendants were black, even AFTER the DOJ had won it.
