| Finally: Dino Rossi Announces He Will Run Against Patty "Dum-Dum" Murray For WA SenateHe also announced that, yes, the rumors are true, he shtupped Patty Murray up the squeakhole at a Kiwanis mixer. But he won't say anything more about that. He's only saying that much because the press has been hounding him about stories he was spreading about the affair. And also, they were cutting off pieces of his face with switch-blades. (Usually called switchblades, but yeah, I should talk about improperly using hyphens, eh?)Comments1
Mis-using hyphens fills me with gob-smacking heart-ache.

That Patty Murray isn't living in a refrigerator box and living onroadkill is a testament to the greatness ofAmerica.

The problem with Washington state is that the latte-sucking fashionably-miserable hip-sters will vote for any-body who runs as a Demo-crat. Even if she's an id-i-ot.

Let me be the first to call bullshit on the Kiwanis story. "Shtupped" is the giveaway, everyone knows that the proper phrase is "dorked her in the squeekhole".
Dorked. Posted by: IllTemperedCur at May 24, 2010 08:31 PM (foPGG) 7

While I would love to see that little retard Murray lose, until the dems do not control the vote counting in King County, can't see it happening.

Now if that guy Folks had said he was schtuping Patty Murray, then he'd have a story with legs. After all, people could really appreciate how those two would be attracted to each other.

ND,IN,AR,NV,DE all look good
Illinois is looking better Colorado and Pennsylvania are looking tougher but are doable. We hold Ohio and Florida.. and we just need to flip CT, CA, or WA to get to 50R-48D-2I (1 socialist 1 Liebermanist).. Jeebus. I've been all excited about my father-in-law becoming a real, true conservative. And then he breaks my heart this morning sending me some spew that was forwarded to him by an Israel-hating Arab friend of his, denouncing Beck, etc. Guess where his info was from? HuffnPuff. Le sigh. I tried to put the old man some knowledge. Gently. No response all day.

I think of Vino Rossi, one of the best things about living in Rancho Cucamonga (up there with being in one of the most conservative districts, one of the largest-breasted congressional districts (dont ask how i know that), and being one city over from the land of the BACON-AND-BATTER cupcake...) The Morons' Choice (/sarc), Dick Morriswas on with Hannity and said there are now 13 senate seats in play and the dems are below 50% approval in 10 of them. Blue Menthol is among the 10. Hmph. Will wonders never cease?
He also said Rossi was "considering," so not a sure thing. Also, Russ Feingold has a Repub challenger who is self-financing and according to Morris, no slacker. He'll give Russ a run for the $$. I saw a sidebar somewhere today that talked about the RNC's dismal $$ shortage. Heh, heh. Didn't click on it, but I'd guess thattheir beltway boy Mitt isn't inspiring many donations. They might have to swallow their gargantuan pride and admit that either Palin's their candidate for '12 or they'll fade off into obscurity and guaranteed communism/no repub representation anyhowthe next time out. Let's hope that the ballot count is a bit more honest than when Dino "lost" to Christine Gregoire for Governor in 2008.
I still lived in Seattle when the Mom in Tennis Shoes was elected to the Senate. My ex proudly voted for her--come to think of it think that's probably part of the reason she's my ex. It's all the rain and gray skies that makes the natives vote for people like that--softens the brain. Posted by: Zardoz at May 24, 2010 10:57 PM (+RkTM) 44
It's not so much a "heavily democratic state" as a state with a few heavily democratic counties. In the '08 election, King County alone accounted for about 30% of the vote, and that went about 2:1 dem.

I've often found that people like that tend to be in very secure positions where they're either on a pension, or they couldn't be fired unless they were in jail, or they had a nice trust fund or other backstop. Posted by: spider costume at May 25, 2010 04:05 AM (bE5eK) 48

Things are starting to get a little more interesting here in Washington State. Latest polls put Rossi v Murray in a statistical dead heat. Murray has a ton o' cash, but Rossi should catch up pretty quick, now that he has formally announced.
