I think one of the problems with the last rounds of "styles" is that everything is so freaking clinical. I mean, I get the whole aerodynamic necessity.. but I do think that it robs from the creative designs when computers pretty much determine the same basic shape as optimal and the designers have ended up working around that in their designs.. even in their mock ups. But let's remember the key point - Barry thinks its only fair that a big fat vehicle should get bad mileage and not be penalized, but a small car should do better.
