By the way, I know Pam Geller is often the butt of some jokes here, but she was sturdy enough to go on the execrable Joy Behar's show, and face three yellovers at once regarding Palin's use of hand notes.
She stood up to it well. I'm not sure anyone on the left would say so, but Ms. Geller hit them pretty hard, and got back only, "Sara's stupid" in return. A proper response to Ronjr's childish taunting would be to let him know that you're thrilled to see him keep up the monkeyshine, since that makes Palin look smarter every time he spanks it. OT but a good child rearing story. I helped my fourteen year old daughter with her homework. She asked me how the Trojan War started. I told her about Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena and the Golden Apple of Discord. We got to talking about mythology. She asked whether Heracles was the son of Zeus and Hera. I told her that Zeus was a Tiger Woods kind of guy so Heracles was Zeus's son but not Hera's. The next day I overheard her tell her friends that I said that Tiger Woods was like a Greek god.
First, he doesn't look Greek. Second, I don't have a man crush on Tiger. (NTTAWWT) Posted by: WalrusRex at February 09, 2010 05:34 PM (xxgag) 105

Aaaaanyways, didjou'se morons watch Pam? I think she's learning to be less strident. Her research into the architect of the Final Solution shows some serious digging that the Howard Zinn fans would love to shut down, so that shows some serious committment. I think the threats she's had to deal with: the backstabbing from a former ally-turned insane fool, and the other crap she's dealt with, have knocked the edges off a bit and might be turning her into a major media player. She's now writing for Breitbart, for example.

Did somebody say wife jokes? A guy sits down to another guy on a plane, when they notice they both have throbbing black eyes. "Okay, I'll bite," says the first guy, "how'd you get yours?" "Slip of the tongue," says the second guy. "I got to the ticketing counter and the agent had this huge amazing rack. I meant to say, 'gimme a ticket to Pittsburgh,' but it came out 'gimme a picket to Titsburgh.' Pow, she belted me. How 'bout you?" "Same thing, a slip of the tongue," says the first guy. "This morning I came down to the kitchen and my wife says 'what do you want for breakfast?' Anyway, I meant to say 'a bowl of oatmeal' but it came out 'you fucking bitch, you ruined my life.'" You might wanna comment. Something about Hera, Aphrodite, and Tiger

Okay. 104 OT but a good child rearing story. The next day I overheard her tell her friends that I said that Tiger Woods was like a Greek god. lol, kids. Anyways, Zeus always liked to boink any mortal woman that moved. I guess that's due in part to Hera being Zeus's sister as well. Greek mythology may be the original source of the "golden shower" as he impregnated Danae, the daughter of King Acrisius of Argos and Eurydice, in the form of a golden shower. This child would be known as Perseus, who I killed in the Temple of the Fates by throwing him through a wall and impaling his heart on a hook. Here's a list of Zeus' "conquests". My mom's not on the list. I wonder why? Posted by: Kratos (on the back of Gaia, scaling Mt Olympus) at February 09, 2010 06:37 PM (otlXg) 232

"When the scanners were first introduced, it was also
speculated that images of famous people would be ripe for abuse as the
pictures produced by the devices make genitals “eerily visible” according to journalists who have investigated trials of the technology.
However, the Transport Secretary’s assurances were demolished after it was revealed on the BBC’s Jonathan Ross show Friday that Indian actor Shahrukh Khan had passed through a body scan and later had the image of his naked body printed out and circulated by Heathrow security staff." heard Bob the Beckel on Hannity. Here Varney and Hannity were laying it out how racist the democratic party has become and asking very very direct questions of Beckel and I listened as he manipulated the words in his questions and didn't answer the very direct questions.

@277 I don't quite understand the Birth Certificate issue. I think he was born in Hawaii, unless I actually find evidence otherwise, but it really pisses me off that the Administration won't just end the controversy, by showing it, and walking the public through all the facts. It is my belief that the reason they won't do it, is so they can use it as a poltical wedge, giving them the ability to call anyone who questions them "Racists." All the evidence I have seen, along with the Constitutional Laws involved, presents the situation to be pretty clean cut, but I understand how important it is to clear the air about all this...It's a morale issue, and they would actually release some tension by ending the issue...so I don't get it! Can somebody explain this to me?
Yeah kind of simple really. Hawaii was in the habit at the time of issuing birth certificates to those not born in the US. That, or the fact that he wasn't born in a hospital, if true, would be recorded on a long form birth certificate. US law would prevent him from being a US Citizen at birth under the circumstances, if he were not born in the US. So some hold out the belief, based on other testimony and evidence, that he was born in Kenya, then flown to the US a few days after birth. Possible, yes. Far fetched, yes. Would it disqualify him? Probably (Supreme court would make the call). Obama has the political motivation of making his opposition look like crazies by not complying. Reality check. Even if the events of paragraph 1 were true at the outset. Face it right now he has a long form on file which dutifully shows him being born in Hawaii whether it is true or not. Bottom whether or not there was a cat up this tree a year ago is irrelevant, there ain't one now, so we can stop barking. We just look stupid now. Beck is making me distrust Palin. some woman called Beck's show and said they were not so thrilled with her endorsing Perry since the woman said Perry is a progressive. And then they were talking about the endorsement of Rand Paul and of her campaigning for McCain, who, Beck convinced the audience that McCain is a progressive based on what his daughter has been saying all over the airwaves about being a Progressive Republican. So if progressives don't care what letter is next to their name as long as they get elected then maybe Sarah Palin is a closet progressive too, and then I don't want her.

The Fallacy of "Fairness" by Thanks for posting that, Willow! My favorite paragraph was: Unfairness is often blamed on somebody, even if only on "society." But whose fault is it if you were not the first born? Since some groups have more children than others, a higher percentage of the next generation will be first-borns in groups that have smaller families, so such groups have an advantage over other groups. As a second child of four, with a very motivated, very smart older sister, I used that excuse to vindicate my sometimes less than stellar grades. Just as long as he claimed Citizenship to the United States while living here before age of twenty he would qualify, assuming one of his parents was already a citizen. 431 runningrn, I don't watch it either. It's either wine or The View. My brain cells can't handle both. I'm just dying to know what the twit said about Sarah, especially since Palin is campaigning for the chub's dad.
Megyn is definitely an idiot. I'm sure she gave Sarah some backhanded compliment. I was disappointed that Sarah would campaign for McCain, especially since his campaign staffers were so rude to her, and that John is such a squishy Rino. Sarah must be a very loyal person. Good night, Herr! I should get going too (go make dinner). I wish Nam Grunt were here to cook it for me. Whatever he makes always sounds better than what I'm going to cook! The White death has stopped DC dead in it's tracks. I heard on Fox news tonight that Congress is so frozen in fear, that it will be two weeks before it gets it's nerve back and can have a quoram. The Dem's most likely fear that they will lose another Dem Senator. Isn't it awful the way that they keep dying even though Obama expressly forbade them to do that!

The Supreme Court is stuffed with lawyers, but there is no law that requires the president to appoint a lawyer. Come on y'all. this is the typical obama white house snottiness. this is straight out of the alinsky playbook. It's ridicule and mockery, and you know what? it works. like obama, gibbs is a petty, snide, arrogant, smug prig. this is just the kind of thing they would do. what makes it most galling is the way obama says he wants to extend a hand to republicans, and elevate the level of discourse in washington. yet, there they are, acting like petulant little snotty children, trying to humiliate sarah palin, and he does a good job of it. the american people fall for this crap, even though they claim to hate political bickering. the truth is, repubs don't play dirty like this, and rarely stand up to the dmubocrats when they engage in mockery and ridicule of this nature. hell, the dems frame the arguments, and write the "narrative" while republicans let 'em get away with this crap. palin is much too nice of a person to withstand the shit storm of pure evil character assasination that will be coming her way as we edge ever closer to the next presidential election. i feel bad for her family. this stuff will only escalate.
these people never cease to amaze me. the obama administration could do much to improve the "tone" in washington. as matter of fact, he could improve things literally over night! all he would have to do is step down, and trundle back to illinois with his pose of chicago crooks in tow. D.C. is going to just get worse with these jerks in office. from rahm, to astroturf-axelrod, to her heinousness pelosi herself - never has there been a nastier, meaner, more despicable group of people in office. hell, they make nixon look like a nice guy with clean hands. bunch of jerks... I forgot to add that gibbs probably got his pudgy butt kicked everyday at recess when he was in first grade. the reason he is like this is because he's never gotten over it. he was also most likely picked last for kick ball, and unceremoniously always found himself to be the favorite target.
and axelrod? oh, he used to pull the wings off of butterflies for fun while playing in the backyard as a kid. rahm? oh, rahm poisoned the nieghbors dog, and pelosi? well, she was hated in high school for not following the girl code. she would go out with her friends' exes and such. and obama? do we really need to go into the absent father, look at me-look at me syndrome? that's who these people are...
