Bastards: McConnell Agrees to Earlier Christmas Eve Vote So He Can Go Back Home

He could have held it up 11 more hours.

Instead he caves. To go home early for Christmas.

Dude, people miss Christmas, you know. Not to play the troops card. But okay, what about the troops?

And millions of other Americans miss Christmas with the family, or have a later Christmas, because it's their job to miss it.

And you can't?

Senator McConnell, how many times have you missed a home-for-the-holidays Christmas? I bet we are talking an extremely low number here, and not for years and years and years.

You should get your ass to work for the same reason 7-11 employees work on Christmas. Because it's your job to do so, asshole.

210 I don't see this as that big of a deal. All that McConnell can do is delay it 11 hours or so. It will still pass. Also this only sends it out of the Senate. You still have the reconcilliation that has to occur with the House bill and then you have to start all over again. If they can only delay it a few hours and will then have to start all over again next year it makes more sense to save all the tricks to delay next year when it gets reintroduced.

They look for a miracle on November 10 to put them, if not back in control of at least one House, to make it impossible for the enemy to just ram things through over their opposition. That implies that the election is the key. Elections are won by a lot of hard work by a lot of people. For the Republican party, those people are the Conservatives who they spend most of the election cycle pissing on. And then a couple of months before the election they say it is our fault if we don't carry their asses across the finish line. Why the hell should Conservatives bust their asses for this lot of lop-earred duds? If they win, they won't fight for us, for the country, or the Constitution. They won't even inconvenience themselves by having to take a later flight out.

There is no time to put together a 3rd Party before November. Hell, there is no assurance that there will even be an election in November. [Maybe they know that and that is why they are phoning it in.] I am lucky that my Congressman is one of the few who has stood up and fought back all the way [which is why the Colorado Republican Party tried to replace him with a RINO who wanted to reach across the aisle]. Our Senate race is open still, but unless the RINO [yet another Party Central Committee insider] running gets the nomination, I will have to vote Republican. If they force the RINO on us, I will vote Constitution Party. But if we are still having elections in 2012, please; let there be a TEA Party, a Conservative Party, or an Arctic Fox Party.
