Second, it puts me in mind of those ID v. evolution arguments throughout the internet.  If you've ever fought endless pointless arguments on the side of Chuckles Johnson, then how do you feel now?  If the most settled science can be based on wholesale fraud, what does that mean for other fields?  How do you convince somebody you aren't lying?

Third, how can anybody who did High School or college labs be surprised?  Those stupid physics labs never worked.  If you didn't fudge the data, you'd never think F=ma.

Fourth, climate science has been bringing in HUGE bucks by doing the chicken little routine.  Even if scientists are socialists, they're fundamentally greedy and want to see more of the pie going to their particular field.

"Irregardless" on the other hand doesn't even make sense - who the fuck would say "not regardless" when they mean to say "regardless" (which is basically what a person is saying every time they say "irregardless").

On a side note, it irritates me to all hell that my firefox spell check considers "irregardless" to be a real word.

The imprinting thing: furthermore, I don't understand why the author didn't find that creepy.  She could have written it so that the imprinting took place, oh say, 18 years later (or the equivalent) and get around the issue.  I am stuck wondering if it will stay as is in the movie franchise or if they'll fiddle with it.  Hollywood's not easy to read, especially after the defending of Polanski kerfuffle.

Yeah, my mother has a whole rant that she'll go off on whenever someone uses the words "these are the best years of your life" at a graduation. If that were actually true, it's pretty pathetic and depressing. My high school experience wasn't Hollywood movie-esque but it wasn't bad either. But it for sure wasn't the best times of my life.

It is greasy, but very good. It's a lot heavier than turkey and you can't stuff yourself like you can with a turkey. It definitely would not sit well in your stomach... I found that the way to eat goose is... in moderation.
