Got a nominee for the Nobel Prize in Economics. FOIA, the person(s) who leaked the CRU data. With luck, this person will save us billions of dollars, if not more. Or, even better, make sure that any scientific debate now is clear and in the open, at least concerning matters that may cost us money.

One good piece of news; the sun has finally came out here after days of cold wet drizzle. makes we want a porch rocker day except it is still cold.

With the number of registered moonbats in Maine and their representatives in the US Congress, it seems appropriate to take a crew with chainsaws and axes, chop off Maine from North America and float it over to hook-up with Great Britian where moonbattery and acquiescence to Muslim law is all but a done deal.

Yes, after the glaciers receeded, thanks to the greedy, environmentally irresponsible cavemen who started up a campfire every time it got the least bit cold outside.  Bastards killed us all, even as evidence of receeding glaciers was documented by noted caveman environmentalist Ag Gorug.

OK, maybe that's a bit harsh.  Our farts may have contributed a little.  You try a strict vegan diet without passing some gas, jerk.

The Commiecrat, "he's not taking a chance we will get an agreement and legislation". (typical moonbat BS).

The Bush squishy Repub "I agree that people voted for "climate change" bla bla bla....but our version is better.

Not one mention of the fact that expense is not the question and that the entire thing is a scam and a fraud.

And I accuse Kay of extreme racism: ALL global warming deniers are white Kay?  Are you sure of it?  Does this mean you believe that brown people don't have the mental power to disagree with you?  Does this mean you believe that brown people are somehow not human, as they all think with a group mind?   Gee Kay, you seem a bit bigoted there -- I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you for hate thought.

AJ,  you can pick up any of the pies I made last night -- three pumpkins, an apple (was going for one of each, but when I got done mashing up the pumpkin I realized there was too much in that one small pumpkin for just one pie)...and then my mom brought over chocolate cake and a coconut cream pie (why, I do not know, she knew I was making pie...of course this is probably a mother-daughter competitive thing -- whose pie will everyone like the most).  Tommorrow we'll have to fend off his family trying to foist more goodies (like pie!) off on us to take home (SIL-wife who's food is the best competitive thing -- I swear holidays are merely intermural bake offs). I've locked it all up to keep the kids from having a sugar freak out.  Hmm, can you freeze pie?

Hubby and I were just talking about this.  Does the left understand that calling every disagreement an exchange about racism makes the word racism mean nothing?

My kids' classes in the Christian school are more racially mixed than they were in the public school.  Our charities do more to reach out and save lives regardless of color than the invective of stupid leftists.  I know that my circle of acquaintances is more racially diverse than the very vocal democrat I work with.

A recent movie about the left was named something like "Not Evil, Just Wrong."  I have to disagree.  The reflexive name-calling to suppress the opinions of others is evil.     It is part of the left's disconnect with reality; self-delusion is a crucial ingredient for evil.

Regarding #99

The accusation of racism exacts such a violent, knee-jerk reaction that it is a powerful tool.  Thanks to the many "fact-based" movies about the horrors of racism, nobody wants to be perceived as racist and it seems to be the strongest insult to throw at someone (even if it stupidly false and completely random).

183 What would be the level of the ocean, as compared to the current sea level, if every piece of ice & snow and every body of standing fresh water was put into the oceans? Posted by: Rocks at November 27, 2009 If I read that book right the sea levels have risen over the years (centuries? since the last ice age?). There was a city off of the coast of India that is now underwater so the water level has risen. We're just now figuring this out as we thought that the city was just a rumor.
