| Stupid Leftist Tricks: Left Pushing a Video Supposedly Showing an "Angry Crowd" Disapponted that Palin Won't Sign Their BooksAs Just a Grunt (at JWF) explains, one of the women quoted (of course!) by AP seems to be an Obama fan. In the supposedly angry crowd, you hear only one woman droning on "Sign our books" with the exact cadence of "O-ba-ma," and one heckling male. Based on two likely lefty disruptors, the left wants to call everyone else in the crowd "angry." In fact, they all look just like looky-loos, crowding in to photograph a celebrity. But the media is putting out the word: Don't buy her book, or you'll be very angry at how she treats you. I can't tell, by the way, but it sure sounds like Sarah Palin comes out to address the looky-loos here, and, conveniently enough, the "angry crowd" video ends just after that. Just a Grunt is refusing to link the video, as lefties are trying to make it viral, and I'll respect that advice. But if you're curious -- as he says, it's on every single lefty site. Corrected: Poster "Just a Grunt" wrote that post, not JWF.Comments1

Hey, remember when Barack Obama was the President of the United States, the Democrats had overwhelming control of both houses of Congress, the deficit was out of control, shysters were trying to destroy the health care system, unemployment was 17.5% and the war in Afghanistan was being lost? Yeah, neither do the lefties. Holy crap, how she must scare them. Posted by: Circa (Insert Year Here) at November 20, 2009 05:54 PM (B+qrE) 3

Palin has a negative appeal in addition to her affirmative appeal that is hardly ever mentioned. Like someone said a long while ago, she pisses off all the right people. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Posted by: The Boobie Watcher (rdb) at November 20, 2009 05:56 PM (p5QqI) 5
This morning, just for laughs, I read the one star reviews of her book on Amazon. There did seem to be a theme.
Listen up, folks: Those of us who want to buy the book will buy it. Some of us may buy it just to piss off the lefties. Pick your battles. Posted by: fluffy at November 20, 2009 05:56 PM (4Kl5M) 6

Governor Palin has already responded on her facebook:
The response on this book tour has been overwhelming. We are truly humbled, and I thank you. I've been told that yesterday there were supporters in Noblesville who stood in long lines for hours in the cold and rain, and the book signing event ended without a chance to say hello to everyone who showed up. I am so sorry. We are working on a solution for those who were left behind. I apologize. - Sarah Palin Posted by: enoxo at November 20, 2009 05:58 PM (+J6OV) 10
As a life-long conservative Christian Republican and strong Sarah Palin supporter, I must say I'm disappointed.
That fact that Sarah Palin refused to sign everyone's books and that she started a near riot! Well, after that I could never ever vote for her. I'll just shut off my TV when she comes on and I urge all true conservatives to do the same. Posted by: Concerned Palin Supporter at November 20, 2009 05:59 PM (HylJ6) 11
She must be an Obama supporter because she chants "sign our books" with the exact same cadence of "O-ba-ma"????? Are you kidding? Is this some kind of stupid joke? She also used the same exact cadence of "Let's go Mets!" and "At-ti-ca". That must mean that she's also a Mets fan and a prison rioter!
Are you really such a warped wingnut that any time you hear a chat with a three-beat cadence you assume that person is an Obama fan? Or is that just whenever it suits your justifications ("this video MUST be a hoax -- I'll find the down-low Obama supporters in it!"). From what I’ve been able to find out from local news (yes, local, not the national) she met over 1,000 people in scheduled time. Her contract with Borders stated she had to leave at 9pm, no later, but the bookstore gave out more wristbands (around 100 extra at max) than possible to fit in the time slot.
She signed books as she moved through the crowd to the bus. And listening to the video, there were only around 3 people shouting / booing. I attribute those to liberals who were just going to sell the book on ebay (which has over 100 copies up now). No 'Cuda fan would be shouting, calling her a quitter--those were flat out liberals. GO TO THE LINK and read about one of the "protestors" twitter links. On the other hand, I'm more than happy to discuss that bullet we dodged last November since Mr. Happy Changey is doing such a bang up job. You've already made clear that you want Palin hate from Column A. How about an Iranian nuclear test from Column B or perhaps 20% unemployment to finish up your dinner special? Yes, I must agree with the others here who have voiced their concern. Sarah Palin's distinct lack of concern for the feelings of those concerned about their health-care has this staunch conservative who loves apple pie and race cars and Toby Urban records very concerned. I'm afraid I may have to support Bernie Sanders for president if my republican party (which I love more than dear jesus himself) doesn't come to its senses and get behind a less divisive and more reasonable candidate who supports a woman's right to choose and a Frenchman's right to U.S. taxpayer-funded healthcare. Do precisely two angry hooters convert the other 300 picture-takers into an "angry mob"? If 300 people are at a bar and one yells "I love rape" are the rest rapists? Are you a fucking moron? Politico saw no "angry crowd," by the way. They were there and didn't see this "angry crowd." That's because two idiots hooting near their own cellphone's microphone do not an "angry crowd" make. And yes, the O-ba-ma thing is a stretch, but not so much given that one of the supposed Palinistas quoted byu the AP turns out to be a fan of Barack Obama. Bullshit. I just got home from the Columbus book signing (Borders) and if anyone is to blame, it was the book store. After having camped out all night in 39 degree temps, they didn't tell people until the next morning that they were cutting the wristbands from 1000 to 500, and it was because at the other signings, she was nowhere near done after her 3 hour scheduled time was up when doing 1000 wristbands.
I got to the store at like 11pm on Thurs night, so I was like the 90th person in line, and it was a steady flow all night and then a surge in the morning right after sunrise from people that had no idea what kind of turnout she would get. I'd say that they had 2,000-2,500 people easy where I was. The line wrapped all around the strip mall (Borders situated in the middle) until the end met up with the beginning. Anyway IT WAS AWESOME and I got a good chunk of time with her because she loved my 'Reagan Resistance' shirt and the people who had already gone ahead of me said I had the most time with her up to that point. AWESOME. She's more gorgeous in person, and way more petite than I imagined. It totally had a campaign rally feel to it, not gonna lie. Just sayin. I had a blast, met some cool people, and would do it all over again in a hot minute. Signing your name 1,000 or 2,000 times (people can get up to two books signed) in three hours is almost as bad as closing on a mortgage. ;-) Give the lady a break. Even baseball pitchers only throw about 100 pitches before they take them out so they don't injure themselves. She can only do so much. And she's arranging to make amends for those who were left out.

I often marvel at how people IGNORE all of Sarah Palin's accomplishments. They act like she has none and is popular for no particular reason other then people identify with her. Please share these FACTS.
1. Sarah took on corruption in her own party and risked her career in politics doing it. Name one politician who has done this that is currently serving. By the way, has Obama asked Charlie Rangel to step aside? NO, they are in the same party after all. 2. Sarah cut the budget in the Alaska which is unheard of. She saved money when the oil money was flowing in so now when the oil price dropped they are not cutting police or education or raising taxes to balance the budget. How are New York and California doing by the way on their budgets? How is Obama doing with his deficit projections? 9 trillion right? 3. Sarah TOOK ON THE MOST POWERFUL COMPANIES IN THE WORLD, the big oil companies to make sure Alaskans were getting a fair shake and SHE WON. Has Obama bucked the big labor unions in a similar fashion? Or the trial lawyers? 4. Sarah negotiated a natural gas pipeline deal that will result in the largest construction project in North America which will produce REAL JOBS and will provide CLEAN energy to the lower 48. Has Obama ever...oh never mind, its obvious he has not done anything like this and neither has anyone else who currently serves. Posted by: Dan at November 20, 2009 08:48 PM (KZraB) 108

yeah, it all sounds so true. I know that I base my support of Sarah Palin on whether she acknowledges my existence or not.
I'm claiming bullshit on people like this: There were approximately 400 people holding coveted wristbands outside in the rain when Gov. Palin's bus pulled away. I was one of the disappointed 400. At a minimum, she could have apologized and posed for a photo for the group. Instead, she waved as the bus pulled away. I'm returning my book to Borders tonight and I am rethinking my position on Gov. Palin. You are such a piece of shit. There's no way you were ever a Palin supporter if that makes you rethink your position. Posted by: pajama momma at November 20, 2009 09:14 PM (W2yhR) 114

This isn't the first time Borders has screwed up with book signings. They give out too many wristbands and then the people who got there late don't get in. They handed out 1000 wristbands and expected her to sign that many in 3 hours? Yeah right. Gee, I'm surprised Borders even wanted to sell her book. They usually bury any Conservative author's books somewhere, even if they're best sellers. And I'd be willing to bet that most of those late-comers were simply hoping to get an autographed copy to sell on EBay, not because they were fans of Sarah.

Well I will tell you that the one that I was in (I don't normally shop there) had the book placed in such a way that people saw the 'Sarah From Alaska' book before 'Going Rogue' - when I was there to buy the book, numerous people walked right by the half-ass display and asking where it was. Methinks that was not coincidence. Posted by: tdpwells at November 20, 2009 09:46 PM (Ei3oZ) 120

Have you Palin fans actually heard her respond to policy questions? Do you care that she is not even conversant with national issues, much less international ones? She is not intelligent. She is not knowledgeable with regard to basic policy issues. Do you care about that at all? Or is her likability and down home conservativeness all that matters to you? Do you really want a female GWB?
Is it really enough to you that it makes you all tingly when she winks and says something brilliant like "youbetcha"? The really sad part is I think many of you people support Palin because she has a limited vocabulary, little knowledge of key issues and doesn't think very quickly on her feet JUST LIKE YOU. You want to think that someone like you can be president. You wan to believe that someone with limited knowledge or intellect can really become the most powerful person in the country. So you jump on this dimwit's bandwagon to vicariously live out your fantasies of power. That's sad. Posted by: Sally Ann Cavanaugh at November 20, 2009 11:05 PM (FRErk) 123

Yeah. I watched her outperform the dickhead from my State, Delaware/Scranton's own Joe Biden. You know him? He's the idiot who's been on the wrong side of every major foreign policy issue in the last 25 years. And HE is somehow the current expert on foreign policy. Why you hate her so much, I neither know or care. It is interesting, and probably telling, that you show up here whining about a book tour while the Dear Leader screws up on four continents simultaneously. 123 - Listen cunt, I'm not complaining about a book tour. I'm commenting on and mocking a person of below average intelligence and below average intelligence who hardly has the skills to be a decent small town mayor. What makes her worthy of comment is that -- amazingly and sadly -- about 20-30% of people in this country both like her, take her seriously and might even vote for her in a national election. It's bizarre really. You people should really take a good, long look at yourselves. She's a moron. She's a genuine idiot and you champion her as a great future leader. You should be embarrassed.

Way back when in the 90s, Hillary Clinton came to a bookstore near my office in north Dallas to sign her book, "It Takes A Village," for her fans. When the fans lined up, they found Hillary handing out already signed books. A week later, one disgruntled Hillary fan wrote a letter to the editor of the Dallas Morning News that complained that a bunch of them had compared books after the event and found their signatures identical. Further comparison discovered that there were three different signatures used, evidently by an autographing machine, in order to fool her fans. It was a Classic Clintong Moment: Looking her supporters right in the eye while accepting their praise for a book she didn't write and thanks for an autograph she didn't sign. By contrast, I note that Palin actually writes her own book and signs them herself. Posted by: Tantor at November 21, 2009 01:10 AM (Ek/Oc) 127

In terms of the similarity of the marks, Christian louboutin Shoes has not shown that the use of the word Christian louboutin Shoes, when heard or viewed in the totality of a radio ad, brochure, or counter display, was likely to cause confusion. For many reasons, the use of the word Christian louboutin in the context of these two promotions would have seemed utterly unexceptional.
