btw on a sidenote, that clip that has gone around the net on Pelosi answering a question on getting jailed via Pelosicare, you can thank Todd Schnitt for that who asked his friend to ask that question at the presser. He's a little known but pretty widely syndicated talk show host (also has a morning show dj fool around w/ sidekicks kind of show too called the MJ morning show).
His afternoon show is more political and the guy's pretty funny and absolutely can't stand Pelosi. he gets a little heat for being kind of moderate on some issues, but he's great at mocking people like Debbie w/e her damn name is, calling her Nancy's Pet Gerbil. He also makes great songs lampooning Obama & once when a Daily Kos diary misconstrued his comments about telling employees that were pro-obama about probably ending up jobless because he'd have to pay higher taxes and not be able to pay their wages, he actually tracked down who posted it and tried to debate the guy on air. the guy has had a lot of things done before anyone else but gets no credit for it whatsoever (he was on Jeremiah Wright before Hannity brought it up). so thank him for that clip that has people talking. ok, finished my rant, just get kinda miffed when people don't get due credit for things and people rip it off and say it's theirs. the "backbenchers" as Levin likes to talk them down as are more important then people think. I think the more important question here is, how was Karl Rove able to sneak into Mr. Jefferson's house to plant the cash in his freezer and how much does Dick Cheney know about this and when did he know it ? Posted by: Your average Kos Kid at November 13, 2009 06:25 PM (+FzLa) 9

The perfect "MSM coverage of this" analogy. I click on the link and all of the page loads as "page done", I even get a popup for 'Classmates', and only the masthead and the two side columns and links crap at the page bottom are visible and the central, story area is completely blank. Just like both Times (NY & LA) and WaPo on this and on Charlie Rangel. Congratulations, NOLA State Legislature News. Well, at least there is some justice in this world. Democrats seem to skate free a lot (Rangel, Dodd, Geithner, Teh Bamster). And yeah, you'd better believe that if he was a Republican, this would be an endless loop on CNN, MSNBC and the Alphabet networks. Rush Limbaugh was awesome today (talking about the criminal trials in NY for the five 9/11 terror suspects). He is going to have Sarah Palin on his show on Tuesday, so you might want to have a listen. He said her new book is the best book on policy that he's seen in a long time. It's already making lefty heads explode. Posted by: runningrn at November 13, 2009 06:35 PM (qP2BK) 22

6. Schnitt happens heh? I have a problem with his daily name dropping/self grandizing schtick. It seems justice has been served in the Cold Cash case. Its about time a real punishment has been doled out for a real crime. It makes me wonder how he even got prosecuted? Yeah, just like Obama's DOJ is more serious about prosecuting terrorists in civilian criminal courts, conferring rights to a trial with a jury of their peers when they aren't American citizens, they were terrorists who admitted to bringing down the towers, and they weren't read Miranda Rights when they were caught. Please let this be the first of a parade of them. Rangel, Murtha, the dozen or so under investigation by the ethics committee - a few percent are so dumb that they get caught but you can bet a lot more are dirty. The fact that the rest of them tolerate the known crooks makes them all guilty.

O/T, but it's possible that the Census Worker who was found "murdered" may have manipulated his own suicide so that his dependents got the insurance money. From Hotair Headlines: WASHINGTON — Investigators trying to solve the mystery of a census taker found hanging from a tree with the word "fed" scrawled on his chest are examining whether he manipulated the scene in order to conceal a suicide and make a life insurance claim possible for his son, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press. Two law enforcement officials, who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case, said investigators were trying to determine whether Bill Sparkman committed suicide but altered the scene to make it look like a homicide, allowing his son to collect. Sparkman, 20, who is unemployed, said he's convinced his father could not have committed suicide, even though law enforcement officials previously told the AP on condition of anonymity that they were looking closely at that possibility and increasingly doubted he was killed because of his government job, as was first feared. There were no defensive wounds on Bill Sparkman's body, and while his hands were bound with duct tape, they still were somewhat mobile, suggesting he could have manipulated the rope, the officials said. He was found hanging from the tree yet was in contact with the ground. Homicide, suicide and an accident were all being considered as a manner of death, authorities said.Kentucky State Police Capt. Lisa Rudzinski declined to comment Thursday on whether a life insurance policy connection was being probed. She said investigators still have not determined the manner of death and were still awaiting forensic tests. Because he was a census employee, Bill Sparkman's family would be eligible for up to $10,000 in death gratuity payments if he was killed on the job, according to the Office of Personnel Management. He was not eligible for a separate life insurance policy through the government because his census work was intermittent, Census Bureau spokesman Stephen Buckner said.
