| Charlie Crist: It's Not That I'm a RINO. It's That I'm Functionally Retarded.Obama Stimulus...? Not ringing any bells. What year is it? Is my name "Patient"? I think that nurse is stealing from me. Is it cold in here? Can we get to Red Lobster by 4:00? I have a coupon, or did, before my schvatze nurse stole it from me. I know it's Florida, but... O/T: watching Major Garrett report on Prez's foray into the press room this morning where Garrett felt "it is his press room as much as oure" and 'he doesn't ahve to answer questions since he wanted to drive home that the AMA and AARP is in favor of this house bill". Now either Major has developed O'Really syndrome or Fox is doing exactly what Michael Savage predicted three weeks ago "slowly, rolling over like the rest of the MSM but doing it so the average person won't detect it". My read on watching Major was that people will take away "well if the AMA and AARP are endorsing it and major seems ot think it is good, well then maybe I should go along with it". Highly unusual for Fox. Interesting that Major is the second fox moron to roll over in a major way.

Crist looks like a dufus standing there with the O But, on the substance, IMHO we have to take a careful line on fiscal stimulus of the economy....fiscal tools are useful to moderating downturns. So we have to have a clear response. O's "stimulus" was ill constructed. His goal was to carve out more private sector money for government programs. So stimulus is ok, spreading out $$$ for 3 or 4 years is just building government And, btw, rather than use pork, can we just say patronage. That the machine language....O is all about patronage, it is the Chicago way, I'll pay you, you vote for me.

Yes, RINO because he stood on a platform with a Democrat and joined him in endorsing a huge sweeping porkfest that contained every Democrat welfare wish list item that they have wanted for the last 50 years.
There was very very little stimulus and whole bushel baskets of socialism in that bill.

Think of all the barn building analogies the republican party can then use. I eman a barn raising is a quintessential American ritual. Your neighbors come together, the men rebuild the barn, the women cook and provide three great meals and the kids just play, unless theya re olf enough to learn how to build the barn. But heck that is the analogy Steele should be adopting. Forget the stupid suffocating hot/cold dirty subject to the wind and elements, without light....tent.
