| Post-Racial President Marks Historic Win By Reaffirming Commitment To Blaming The White ManObama's not voting 'Present', he's voting "Past". A year after his historic election, President Barack Obama sought to remind Americans on Wednesday the biggest problems he is grappling with -- from the economy to the war in Afghanistan -- are the legacy of his predecessor, George W. Bush. ... "One year ago, Americans all across this country went to the polls and cast ballots for the future they wanted to see," Obama said. But he said his administration was also confronted with a "financial crisis that threatened to plunge our economy into a Great Depression, the worst that we've seen in generations." "We had record deficits, two wars, frayed alliances around the world," Obama added. He said his administration had acted swiftly to save the economy from "imminent collapse."Let's consider what the Bush administration was facing on the one year anniversary of election day...a terror attack that left 3,000 people dead, an economy already in recession after their predecessors tech bubble run and now damaged by fear and uncertainty. They were also a whole month into the war in Afghanistan and listening to likes of the NY Times compare the campaign to the 'quagmire' of Vietnam. But of course we all remember how Bush for months, if not years, blamed Bill Clinton for spending too much time screwing around with the interns when he should have been going after al Qaeda. Bush was a leader. Obama is a whiner. Keep fucking that chicken Barack. It's a sure winner. *New headline from Ace Comments1

Obama keeps blaming Bush because it still works -- at he thinks it does. And he'll continue to think this is effective (and true) as long as he listens to his cheerleaders. A Republican was elected governor of Virginia by a 60/40 margin has nothing whatsoever to do with national issues -- but the special election to see who represents Upper Chateaugay Lake, New York, is a referendum on how great a nationalized health-care industry would be. Please keep thinking that, Mr. President. You're all that and a bag of chips. I guess it is just a big coincidence that the economy fell apart about a year after Obama and his allies took over Congress. The funny thing about that though, is that Congress has much more power over the economy then the President. So let's review: Rep President, Rep Congress: 4.5% unemployment, $250B deficit Rep President, Dem Congress: 8% unemployment, $750B deficit Dem president, Dem Congress: 17% funployment, $2T deficit it is almost like there is a pattern here... If dreams come true and 2010 is a Demotard bloodbath, enter a prediction: Barry is too narcissistic and radical to pull a Clinton. He will not triangulate, ever. In fact, expect him to push even harder for all-out socialized medicine and crap-and-tax before summer of 2010. His plan B is to simply put much of the collectivist agenda in place by executive order and regulatory fiat. We'll get our crap-and-tax, by way of edicts to the EPA. Who knows what other kind of hell he can raise at HHS and DoE, using regulation to force obedience. The FTC alone could do serious damage to insurance companies once Barry puts his mind to it.

He said his administration had acted swiftly to save the economy from "imminent collapse." Yeah right--he doesn't realize that with the current financial state of the country, the collapse is likely imminent regardless. All he's done is kick the can down the road, the same as previous administrations, in the hope that it doesn't collapse again before he leaves office. He believes that all the country's financial problems have to do with health care costs and not the $140 trillion in debt and unfunded obligations the government has. Not to mention the vastly over-valued real estate market that he and Congress are trying every trick in the book on to keep from plummeting to its actual market value. I'm getting sick and tired of this guy and his supporters going back to the "Blame Bush" well time after time. At some point, he's going to have to put on the Big Boy Pants and start taking ownership of his presidency. Posted by: David Axelrod's Combover at November 05, 2009 11:48 AM (/Pw+r) 119

Thank you, oh wise one, for being here to give people your profound parental wisdom, i.e. encourage your kids to study harder. So nice of you to humiliate your daughter by revealing a mediocre grade she got when you were too ashamed to reveal your own grades as a student at Columbia. Maybe if you had a teleprompter on either side of your desk while in class back then, your grades might have amounted to something worth revealing. If dreams come true and 2010 is a Demotard bloodbath, enter a
prediction: Barry is too narcissistic and radical to pull a Clinton. He
will not triangulate, ever.
As his poll numbers continued to go South, and as he became marginalized with a Republican-majority Congress (should we be so lucky), he'd have no alternative. For Obama the choice would be to either give up his overtly leftist agenda and moderate or continually fail at enacting it, turning himself into a laughingstock. I think his ego would almost certainly ensure the former. Any political advisors he retained would be driling this into him, and unless he threw ALL of them under the bus to be replaced by sycophants (not an impossible scenario, by the way), he'd follow suit. I only wish Bush was this president while he was actually still president. I only wish Bush had just stood up to the press when they lied about him. For instance, he could've asked them how the economy was "the worst since the Great Depression" when unemployment was at 4.5% and GDP growth was an even higher percentage. That would have done wonders for his approval ratings and shown how biased the press really was, in an embarassing way, on the national stage. Wrong attitude buddy, and unlikely to do you any good in the new year. Here's the bottom line, Barack ol' boy. You won the election. You are the president now, not Mr. Bush. What you do now will be to your credit, or your blame. Why? Because you are the president now. All the dodging and weaving and blame-avoiding will sound real thin to the voters next November, especially if that blame-avoiding is for mistakes of omission or comission that can be linked to White House policy. SCM spin or no, if the President continues to whine and avoid responsibility, he will fail, big time. Which I am OK with, up to the point where the failure has lasting effects for the USA. But that's the danger of a failing president who'd rather watch movies about himself than actually make hard decision, right? Posted by: exdem13 at November 05, 2009 01:29 PM (lYKj1) 171

That could be the good news or the bad news, depending on your perspective. Depending on your perspective, the good news or the bad news could be, also, that I am inclined to suspect that Obama's presidency will be such an utter and complete dissaster that even if the Democrats themselves don't tar and feather Obama and carry him out of Washington on a rail, his presidency will ensure that this country won't have another black President for another 250 years. People who are quoting deficit and employment rates need to cite their sources.
Let's give the former president one year benefit of the doubt, and go from 2002-2008 2002 409.5 Billion 2008 1.017 Trillion So, from 2002 to 2008 the deficit more than doubled..... If we start with 2001? 144.5 Billion... That's almost a 10X increase. Source: http://tinyurl.com/yadhbfh I won't get into too much detail about the current spending habits of our president (I don't like them either), but if you can't prove your point without shading the stats in your favor, maybe you aren't as right as you think you are... As far as criticizing the current president... Did all of you speak out when George Bush blamed his predecessors? He blamed Clinton for not doing enough against terrorists, for not doing enough to stop North Korea from building a nuclear arsenal, for rising gas prices, etc. He even blamed 4 of the previous 3 presidents (excluding his father, of course....) for not doing enough to respond to terrorist attacks! Oh, and this was after he said it's not the president's place to finger point. http://tinyurl.com/ydowq8c So, the previous president did everything the current president is doing, including lying to us, the senate, and anyone else they need to establish the agenda. Can we realize now that all politicians are liars who will do anything to get what they want. They will blame anyone, throw anyone under the bus, and do whatever it takes. The problem isn't THIS politician, the problem is politicians! Posted by: Bill at November 06, 2009 09:21 PM (oYxvK) 185

As a years of sale jerseys fans,I watched countless jersey store. Therefore I am not only like plenty of cheap jerseys at different times, but also very interested in the cheap jerseys which different players wear when playing the game.
NBA jersey is the one of the most important equipment expert the basketball shoe.It is more standing for a banner of sale jerseys, even a symbol of urban culture than an important sign of jersey store. So I am very concerned about the NBA jersey.Although a lot of NBA jersey¡¯s design will be changed, the style of cheap jerseys should be basic fixed. However, the new design just change slightly , doesn¡¯t undermine the overall style and characteristics of jersey store. Therefore , as a professional sale jerseys fans should buy jerseys. Posted by: sale jerseys at November 15, 2009 11:02 PM (O2sZu) 202
