Presidential Triptych

Compare and contrast.

I like that post because it's all pictures. Perfect for you inbred redneck rethuglikan Morons. When you try to sound out the words you just get pudding all over your shirt anyway.

2 What a perfectly lovely website, thanks for the push. I agree with the point, and wish to add that all one need do is check what passes for American action hero at the box office these days. Hahahahaha, Nick Cage? Hahahahaha.

Now Hollywood importing them from Oz and even the UK. Sad that. American metrosexuals don't even know they are pussies.

A suburb study of manly men:  http://tinyurl.com/yf78swd

From Dave Barry "Truck ads: Like a crock"

... But you are envious of the men in the truck commercials -- manly, bulging men, with manly, bulging vehicles; men who handle large tools; men who do not mind getting sweaty and dirty. In the morning, when white-collar Camry drivers like you are applying underarm deodorant, these men are deliberately perspiring and smearing dirt on their bodies, preparing to go work on the rig.

That's where the men in truck commercials always work: on a rig. You have never, in your accounting career, seen a rig. You're not sure what a ''rig'' is. But now you wish you had one. You have rig envy.  ...

9 Laura -- Was reading (somewhere on the www) about this same subject...I think it was regarding the change/evolution of what women find attractive in a male's face/body...(think Heston, Lancaster, etc. to Pitt, Cruise, etc.).  It was an interesting read.

11 ...and in short, the article came to a similar conclusion...we're being pussified.

Now, 'scuse me while get back outside to my smoker (baby-backs on Applewood), throw another log on the firepit, clean a gun or two, clear some more brush (yes...and burn it) and get my van ready for tomorrow's workday.

Have a great day, Morons!

12 One of my favorite all-time cartoons was from Playboy magazine, from about when Reagan was President. A couple was seated at a table in a restaurant. She had obviously just jabbed him in the face with her fork, which was still stuck in his nose. He continued to sit there nonchalantly while the caption read, "You're a real man, Chuck. I l like a real man."

The DC area has mostly been a metrosexual-opolis for quite a while. Sorta reminds me of preening pansies of the 1700's in France: no problem ignoring how their policies hurt and killed the peasants, the ruling class had art, culture and fine living; the 'others' were there to support the rulers.

A whole lot of correlations, when you think about it.

Funny they didn't want any opinions but their own inner circle, they knocked out business and didn't consult those leaders, they knocked out the republicans, well that was a great strategy, how's it working for them?  While all the other countries are recovering, we are lagging behind.

At a party in the DC burbs I heard 4 men discussing their yard service. I found this interesting because all of them had had career setbacks requiring their wives to take on additional work and in one case put their house up for sale.

Despite having 3 guys in the house over the age of 14, I often weed wack, mow, and edge the considerable lawm myself because I do a better job, I want it done before the weekend, or it burns calories.

I wanted to ask how long they had known they were pussies?

His then finance told me this with a straight face. The other two are conservative guys but "metro". I think it may be a mult-generational thing. My parents were farm children and my mother thought nothing of mowing the lawn or shingleing a roof. Perhaps the know-how is lost over the years? My sister is a therapist and insists she can guess a guy's sperm count from across the room. Mr. Chaffing has had some trouble conceiving....

While Barry's having an arugula omlette, the mister just loaded his truck with the remains of three trees he cut down this morning.  And he's (gasp!) taking them to the dump!  Wonder if Barry knows there are such things?

My 81-yr-old mother prefers to cut her two-acre property with a push mower "because it doesn't skin the grass like the rider does."  She also washes down the siding of her two-story twice a year on a ladder.  She was one of 10 children, born in 1929, and she's still more of a man than the community organizer will ever be.

I have always said, I already have one pussy and I don't need another one. My manly husband is spending the morning cutting down a dead tree in our yard and he'll likely spend the afternoon drinking beer, eating wings, and watching football. Back when Bush was running for governor against Ann Richards he went on a photoshoot dove hunt and ended up shooting a killdeer.  His excuse was that the guide told him it was a dove.  They look a little like a dove, but not enough that anyone who's been dove hunting more than once would ever shoot one.  Ann Richards gave him a huge ration of shit over it.

Neither here nor there, but I'd wager Bush hasn't been any closer to a gun than the nearest Secret Serviceman's piece since then.  Doesn't make him any less manly, though.

64 Presidential candidates should be required to know how to use at least one of the following:

1. A shotgun
2. A chainsaw
3. An air compressor
4. A power washer
5. A non-electric start, walk-behind law mower.

If the candidate cannot do any of these things and is not incapacitated (like Charles Krauthammer) then his candidacy should be declared null and void.

We sure could use another Ronald Reagan…or even someone like Jeane Kirkpatrick:
“And I have no doubt that the American people generally believe the world is safer, and that we are safer, when we are stronger. ”

“Democrats can’t get elected unless things get worse, and things won’t get worse unless they get elected. ”

She was the one that coined the phrases “San Franscisco Democrats” and they always “Blame America First”. She was our own Iron Lady, and she took no bullshit from anyone.

Like Carter, Obama has never met a dictator he doesn’t like. He’s a socialist empty suit who kowtows and apologizes to every malefactor on the planet. That must be the new requirement for the Nobel. Leftwingnuts will not be happy until the United States hits rock bottom with a devastated economy and our sovereignty is totally diminished. Gawd, it’s gonna take decades to unfuck all the damage THE ONE will do.

Anti-shoes (sometimes called Antishoes) are a style of unisex sheepskin boots lined with wool on the inside and with a tanned outer surface. MBT M.Walk often have a synthetic sole, although this is not universal. Swissmasai have been considered a fashion trend since the early 2000s. The terms MBT Shoes, MBT Lami Brich have been used as generic terms for sheepskin boots in Australia since the 1970s, when they first appeared in advertising and other publications on mbt online .
