NY Appeals Court Dismisses Rather's Case Against CBS

Courage (yes, I've always wanted an excuse to use that).

The ruling on Tuesday by a panel of judges of the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division said Rather's $70 million complaint should be dismissed in its entirety and that a lower court erred in denying CBS's motion to throw out the lawsuit.

Rather claimed he had been made a scapegoat to "pacify the White House" (seriously, he claimed that), and lost business opportunities because CBS didn't release him soon enough.

Of course, when they did, those offers sure came rolling in baby, didn't they?

Seriously though, were Rather and Mapes the final nails in the MSM coffin? Was their over-the-top bias and jettisoning of anything even remotely resembling 'journalistic ethics' the final straw for most people? Other than SEC and some NFL games, I don't even bother with CBS anymore. If they had any sense they'd pay off this clown so nobody would be talking about the whole thing now, maybe people would start forgetting. Instead they're doing a great job of keeping their institutional douchebaggery in the spotlight. That whistling sound you hear is Katie's ratings, plummeting towards zero.

Last weekend, I ordered chocolate Ugg Classic Cardy hoping they wouldn't show marks as much as my beige ugg cardy boots and waterproofed them when I first got them.
