That is not mentioned on the tape – it is part of a long-term plan to smear ACORN Housing for political reasons and provide entertainment in the process. But that does not excuse the behavior of the employees. We have fired them and are initiating an internal review of practices and reminding all staff of their obligation to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards.
Fox's attempt to smear ACORN Thursday September 10, 2009 is despicable, part of a coordinated, long-term campaign by Fox to damage ACORN, the premiere community organization of low- and moderate-income people in the United States. Every day ACORN members are working for health care reform, living wage jobs, to end the foreclosure crisis, and to strengthen our public schools. For its part, Fox is running a campaign to demonize ACORN. They will get attention, but they will not succeed. In July 2009, Fox agents attempted to enter ACORN offices in New York, in Philadelphia, in San Diego, in Los Angeles, and possibly other locales. In each case they were turned away, and in Philadelphia ACORN staff were concerned enough that a police report was filed. In Baltimore, the Fox squad deceived ACORN staff by consistently misrepresenting their intentions. No tax returns were filed and no assistance was provided. But the ACORN personnel in question have been terminated because their handling of the Fox agents provocateurs did not meet ACORN's standards of professionalism. The larger pattern of Fox's irresponsible actions here is the real news. From Glenn Beck calling President Obama a racist, to Fox inciting racism and threats of violence with the Teaparties, to Fox unleashing a hit job on ACORN the day after an inspiring Presidential healthcare speech before Congress, Fox has long since abandoned any journalistic pretense. It is clear and not coincidence that FOX continues to attack and divide our nation along racial lines. We believe our country is beyond this type of attack and call on all Americans to demand that FOX stop its racist coverage.It is clear and not coincidence that every single time a minority or minority organization gets caught dirty they scream it's just "raaaaaacism" to blame. This means that the Moron Nation needs to call their legislators and demand that ACORN is investigated. The radical left is completely unhinged and very dangerous, and I truly worry about the safety of all of the aforementioned. Van Houten and Krenwinkle are by all accounts model prisoners. Atkins was the most depraved of the bunch, so she's going to die in jail. This was predicted when he was elected, right here I believe. The statement was made that his presidency would either help relations along if he made it a priority or if he became what he preached against, it would take race relations several steps back. For me, my friends are my friends regardless, although several of my best friends served with me in the A.F. and having known them for a long time, I can say they are nearly as conservative as I am. Having been the unwilling subject of torture worse then waterboarding from DCAA and the GAO; I can attest that the spin they are trying to put on this story is going to hang them. In the eyes of Government investigators and auditors, the apparent fact that ACORN had no institutional mechanism to report fraud and abuse, no policy to involve local law enforcement, no practice of retaining data (evidence), and no effective independent internal monitor on the activities of their staff is far worse the sins of four low level staffers.
If this latest tale is true, and they were turned away from five more offices, then the lack of an institutionalized response is going to make it very difficult for Government Contract Officers or Grant Managers to obligate funds to ACORN. Those who already have need to be put on notice by Congressional inquiries and FOIA requests.

She came up through the path of fighting segregation in the South...and good for her, it appears she has done a lot of good towards that cause. She was actually a 16 yr old plaintiff in a desegregation case in Mississippi. Privately, as a lawyer, worked on behalf of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

You must remember that the GOAL of Obama, Ayers and other communists is all-out racial warfare in America.
