However, I went to the Cinncinati Tea Party site, and he's merely listed as one of about 20 speakers at the event. I perused the rest of the Tea Party website, and nowhere is he listed as an organizer of the event and neither is there any evidence of his affiliation with the Cinncinati Tea Party organization.

Yet Charles refers to him as "one of the main organizers." Why?

Simply because it sounds more damning to name him as an organizer of the event rather than just one of many speakers appearing at it.  He's been trying to tie the Tea Party movement to some radical fringe on the right, and he found one speaker at one event with fringe beliefs and Charles decided it would bolster his case to name him as an organizer rather than simply a speaker. And he makes the claim thinking that its too incidental to be researched and refuted.

But unlike disproving a theory, Van Jones’ claim has to be backed up with evidence. There is no direct evidence to support his claim, so CJ needs to interview all the petition signees, determine their credibility and whether they may have signed unknowingly. Even then all he has is indirect evidence that Van Jones may have signed unknowingly. If two signees were duped but the other N-2 were not, then Van Jones’ claim cannot be substantiated. On the front page of LGF,  directly below the post on the Cinncinati Tea Party is another post entitled: Glenn Beck, Ron Paul and the Truthers

Charles writes a post falsely asserting that the San Antonio Tea Party from which Glenn Beck did a live broadcast was organized by a truther group called We Are Change San Antonio 911 Truth.

Charles writes:

"LGF reader Killgore Trout has discovered a truly shocking piece of evidence, at the meetup website for the April 15th Tea Party in San Antonio, Texas: Glenn Beck @ San Antonio Tea Party @ the ALAMO - We Are Change San Antonio 911 Truth (San Antonio, TX).

Charles provides  a link which he refers to as "the meetup website for the April 15 tea party".  It's obvious that the website he links to has nothing to do with the organizers of the Tea Party that Beck broadcast from.  If you click on the link, it doesn't take you to the website of the group that organized the tea party. It takes you to the website for a Truther group called We Are Change San Antonio that is announcing that Beck will be appearing at the San Antonio tea party. Apparently, the We Are Change people are organizing a meetup of their own members at the Tea Party and this is the page that Johnson refers to as the meetup website for the San Antonio Tea Party.

If you read the first-hand account on Townhall, and look at the pictures, you will see that there is absolutely no connection between the San Antonio Tea Party organization and the We Are Change people.  And if you look over the webpage for We Are Change that Charles refers to as the main site for the Tea Party, you can read first-hand accounts by the We Are Change truthers who attended the rally and it becomes obvious that the Truthers attended the rally as anonymous guests just like all the other attendees and had no affiliaton with and played no part in the organization of the San Antonio Tea Party.

The San Antonio Tea Party that Beck broadcast from had an attendance of about 16,000 and also featured Ted Nugent.  Apparently the organization that set up the Tea Party in San Antonio was part of the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition which also organized Tea Parties on the same day in Sacramento-at which Neil Cavuto broadcast his show, Atlanta-at which Sean Hannity broadcast his show and New York which featured Newt Gingrich. Pajamas TV coordinated with the organzation which set up the San Antonio event for their live coverage, as can be seen here:

Anyone who followed researched his attacks on Robert Spencer, Pam Geller, Gates of Vienna and others knows that this is the method of Charles Johnson.
