Agreed. While I was pretty frustrated that people -- including bloggers who were trying to be careful not to expose Obama's radicalism too much, for fear of being called 'fringe' or 'racists' -- the info that did get out there about him SHOULD have sunk him. It would have sunk pretty much everyone else. But the cult worship was just too much, the accusations of "RACIST!" to anyone providing any facts about Obama were just too much and the mass media going all-in in their worship of him and propaganda campaign in support of him and against any of his detractors was simply too much for anyone to overcome.

I believe that even if Obama did rape a dead body on TV, the mass media would have spun it into some kind of positive for him.

That said, I am STILL not over being called a racist and ignorant and a smear-merchant by many during the campaign last year -- including a few of my now former lefty friends -- for simply exposing facts about Obama's past and background. And I also am not forgetting any so-called conservative who decided to ignore all the background info about Obama and support him anyway. Those people have absolutely no credibility with me anymore. Steven Gilbert at Sweetness and Light was on top of the radical church of Obama, TUCC, back in JAN 2007. I made a post about it on my blog at the time and it got little to no hits (FEB 2007 I had 19 hits a day and then pretty much nothing the rest of the year) until all of a sudden, a year later, I started getting close to 100 hits per day (a big deal for my little-read blog) about it, in JAN-FEB-MARCH 2008. Soon after that is when the main popular conservative blogs and the mass media FINALLY got around to reporting on it.

So Ace is right, most of the mainstream alternative conservative blogs dropped the ball on Obama. Whether it was out of fear, out of not wanting to seem 'fringe', out of not wanting to be deemed 'racist' or out of simply scoffing at all the background research that people such as Steven Gilbert at Sweetness and Light had been doing since JAN 2007, I don't know.

All this info was out there to be found all the way back as early as JAN 2007. Imagine if the conservative blogosphere had bothered to start vetting Obama in JAN 2007, instead of dropping the ball until Spring of 2008.

I'm not going to harp on it, but I was EXTREMELY frustrated during 2007 and early 2008 when I kept posting links to my research of Obama and that of Steven Gilbert and AllahPundit, Ed Morrissey and Bryan Preston -- when he was still there -- would refuse to post anything about it.

People were simply foolish enough to believe Obama was some sort of new 'moderate' and were buying into his dreamy speeches and BS and refused to see the facts of his background and refused to believe that Obama was simply an extreme America-hating radical who was BS-ing his way through the campaign, pretending to be a post-partisan, post-racial 'moderate'.

Nothing we can do about it now though, so it's all a moot point.
