What a Coincidence!

Buried in the story about Obama's Health-Care forum is this:

The president called randomly on three audience members. All turned out to be members of groups with close ties to his administration: the Service Employees International Union, Health Care for America Now, and Organizing for America, which is a part of the Democratic National Committee. White House officials said that was a coincidence.
Out of an audience of 200, the president just happens to choose three who are part of organizations working to pass his health care legislation.

Troll extraordinaire palin steele said we should try harder to say nice things about the president. So in that spirit, boy, that Obama's a lucky guy, isn't he?

Hey, remember when a plastic turkey held by a president was worth its own investigative news stories? Those were the days.

Before people debate government takeover of healthcare, they need to see the picture of what Obama's done so far. I compiled a list of what's happened since Obama's inauguration so people can see a concise picture of what's going on. My sister posted it for me. Check it out, tell me any corrections or additions you suggest, show it to others, and then let's get mad and hit the streets on July 4. http://veritasbelt.blogspot.com

However, the rise in the unemployment rate from 9.4 percent in May wasn't as sharp as the expected 9.6 percent. Still, many economists predict the jobless rate will hit 10 percent this year, and keep rising into next year, before falling back.

All told, 14.7 million people were unemployed in June.

14.7 million people out of work. Good thing we got that stimulus shoved up our ass, or we would really be in trouble! Or is the fact that almost 15 million people don't have a job just a coincidence, too.

The woman (Debby Smith) he had the Oprah hug moment with worked on his campaign and was chosen by the White House to be there. Totally unscripted I'm sure.

Afterward, Smith seemed less than satisfied with Obama's reassurances, telling reporters that it was still unclear how she would get the treatment she needs before she becomes eligible for government aid in nine years.

Which in turn would have caused him to fuck up the answer. My only question is this: Were the teleprompters color coded to his pre-written answers so that he didn't chance giving the wrong answer to the wrong question? Not that it would've mattered as all answers were completely  filled with vague but important sounding bullshit that doesn't even attempt  to answer the original question.

43 Can we go with the Biden partition plan here in the U.S.?
We don't have to divide into three parts , two would be sufficient . I realize other morons have postulated this idea previously . It's becoming obvious that a contiguous country has become unworkable.
Examples ?
Pelosi , Frank, Dodd , Reid,Conyers, Boxer, Feinstein, Waxman,Harken, these people couldn't win an election for dogcatcher in my area .
I propose the old confederacy plus most of the west and Midwest . We'll also have to invade and conquer at least one state on the Pacific coast . Gotta' have deep water access to the Pacific. I propose Washington for that distinction .
I predict this new country would become an instant superpower .

To return somewhat to the topic , this new country would have the best medical care in the world . I nominate Monty to handle the tort reform for our new AMA , assuming he would go with some version of "kill all the lawyers".
Umm, not the moron lawyers , of course.

Hiring of lobbyists despite pronouncements on 2nd day of his infestation that he would not do so. Believe the number is up past a couple dozen at this point.

By executive order, the continuation of extraordinary renditions.

Continuation of warrantless wiretapping, fully backed by his justice dept.

I-Pod with his idiot speech reading on it to the Queen of England.

Michelle the gargoyle groping said queen.

Immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq- just now happening, 5 1/2 months in.

Immediate closure of Guantanamo- uh, right.

No new taxes of any kind for people making less than 250k. Cigarette tax alone makes that null and void. Look for health care benefit tax, cap and trade taxes, etc. to further invalidate this nonsense.

Mr. Postpartisan has on several occasions used the "I won" justification for his actions.

Yesterday I happened to catch the tail end of a news segment that was essentially about Obama's goons denying particular treatments to patients. Which patients I did not hear; VA Hospital patients possibly?
