Mark Sanford: In Order to Oppose President Obama's Runaway Spending, I Have to Share With You the Details of My Tragic Love Story With My Soulmate, Who By the Way I Call "Pineapple-Head" Because She's So Sweet

The other day I asked if it was better if a philanderer was of the Bill Clinton use 'em and lose 'em variety, or the kind of guy to fall head over heels in love in the full maturity of middle-to-late adulthood.

I have my answer now.

Oh: He didn't really call her Pineapple-Head. I was trying to be hyperbolic. But it's hard to do so clearly, because he's saying crap that kind of walks up this line anyway.

The talk here in SC is that Sanford is not resigning in order to prevent sworn enemy Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer from taking office.  Bauer intends on running for governor in 2010 and his political enemies don't want him getting an 18 month trial run in the office.

27 I can see the value in getting any remaining dirty laundry out there to head off more scandal coverage. But for Sanford to say that Chapur is his soulmate, but he's trying to fall back in love with his wife is just too tone deaf (even if true). His judgment seems to be gone - time to hit him with the tranquilizer dart and get him out of there.

"His career is not a concern of mine."  --Jenny Sanford

I have sympathy for the gov, cuz I'm pussy-whipped too.  For those who don't, look at the above quote.  I've read repeatedly in psych books that in many apparently clear situations of abuse or infidelity--after looking closer at the facts--one begins to wonder who the real abuser is.  That quote above isn't conclusive, but it's a major signpost.  Another one?  Who got the emails to the paper?  Loyal, understanding, supportive, caring wife?  Also, I recall having read she already knew about it and that, to paraphase, I think, it had kinda' been over since last year.  Anyway.  She seems callous, selfish, and lacking in empathy.  "His career is not a concern of mine."  Major red flag.

And guys in love or in need of a bit of real emotional support begin to do anything to get it.  Think wife was supportive?  Not a chance.  Here's Ace's take on the smitten man:

[I]t's a silly song about an evil genius, but it really sums up, comically, the absurdity of male crushes. Guys really think like this when they're smitten, alas. If we had a Doomsday Squad with which to "ignite the atmosphere," we totally would brag about it to impress a girl.

I'm not saying what Sanford did is right, and I would never do such a thing.  I'm just saying the situation doesn't sound quite as simple as it may seem.  The guy's obviously hurting inside.  He's trying to fill a void in his soul.  He needs someone on his side.  I wonder if his wife fit that bill.  She sounds a little me-first.

40 What a day for the GOP.  Sanford runs his mouth, Franken gets intot he Senate and now Collins repeats, verbatim, Obama's fucking lie talking point about health care being "deficit neutral" - but of course leaving out the "within 10 years" qualifier which allows massive deficits now with a promise of savings later to "make up" for the deficits.

Fuckign fraudulent who're as the irish would say.
PHONING SNOWE: President Obama placed a phone call to Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe today, a key Republican voice in the health care debate, according to a release from the senator's office:"Today, President Obama reiterated to me that reforming the nation’s health care system is his highest priority, and that he continues to be open to suggestions and ideas as the Finance Committee crafts this vital legislation. As health reform would affect all Americans, I appreciate his understanding of the critical importance of producing a bipartisan bill with the broadest possible support, and his willingness to work together to achieve this watershed endeavor. The President repeated his goal of passing legislation in the full Senate prior to the August break that would be deficit-neutral while providing universal coverage -- and I reaffirmed to the President my commitment to ensuring the Finance Committee creates the best possible package to guarantee health security for all Americans." This reminds me of an idiot I used to work with.  Nice enough guy, but a total idiot.  First of all, he was idiot enough not to just have an affair, but to have it with his best friends wife who I also worked with.  Then when the news broke we tried to tutor him in the Three D's of getting caught red-handed:  Deny, Deny, Deny!   Don't matter how much evidence is stacked against you, at least SHOW that you feel guilty by having the guts to lie shamelessly and repeatedly about it.   People expect that, and they can even respect that.

Bill Clinton knew that, and look how that worked out for him.

But nooooo, idiot boy had to go sing like a bird - some kind of nonsense about how he thought confession was good for his soul.   Oh?  You think tellin' your good buddy how you nailed his wife on his own kitchen table was good for anything but making him want to stalk you with a hunting rifle for the rest of his life?

Idiot.  And now I see Sanford going down that same Moron's Highway.   I could forgive him for having an affair, most people would.  I can NEVER forgive him for the stupid shit he's pulling now, though!

45 rdbrewer, it's one thing to have an affair.  If that was it, I think most of us would still have a meh attitude towards it.

It's entirely another thing to fly to another continent on the taxpayer's dime, disappear for a week and lie to your staff when you're the chief executive, and constantly beg for attention over how in love you are.  If the marriage is bad, get a divorce, that really shouldn't affect your political future or even impede your job performance.

But if you need the affair and are going to completely disregard your duties to pursue it, than, no.  Resign and let someone do the job.

53 To: rdbrewer - you said;
I have sympathy for the gov, cuz I'm pussy-whipped too.

Is that your wife or mistress?

You also used the quote that Jenny Sanford gave that said his career was not a concern of mine.  I believe the quote is taken out of context.  Her family is falling apart in front of her eyes.  I am not sure if my husbands career would be my concern, either.  My family would be my concern.

I have a feeling what we are seeing now is something she has been seeing for the last few months.  I can understand her bitterness... what with his talk of "soul mates" and all that crap.  Apparently, he asked her permission to see his mistress.  Is she a cold shrew for telling him no?

My understanding is his wife is the one who made him into the politician he is - much like Elizabeth Edwards.  She has chosen to take a different path as Mrs. Edwards took and has decided not put on a front that they are this happy family and he is this great family man.

I actually admire Mrs. Sanford for not "standing by her man" like other politicians wives.  I think Elizabeth Edwards is as much a fraud as her husband and she hasn't gotten any sympathy out of me.  Jenny Sanford, however, I do feel for.

Yes yes. No doubt.

Seriously, I'm generally against this sort of thing. You don't see me defending Ensign or whoever it was 5 minutes ago, that guy was a bastard. But this guy doesn't strike me as so bad.

But seriously - who's perfect?

Look at congress.

You're asking for the guy to resign because of an affair and some buffoonery. We've got guy stealing money, guys selling out their country to foreign powers, guys trying to destroy society as we know it and reshape it into some totalitarian marxist utopia....

We accomodate all these despicable monsters in positions of power. Plenty of them engauged in bacchanalian sexual escapades of questionable legality that make this seem as pure as snow.

But this guy, oh noes, he's gotta go. Can't have him falling in love with someone other then his wife and then being stupid about it. That's way worse then if he'd just commited treason or something.

But, as I said, I don't have any personal reasons for trying to rationalize his behavior.  I realize that maybe some people do . . .

and for your viewing pleasure, he's a leftist douche at new republic totally pooning El Douche for being wholly misleading and indeed dishonest in his use of rhetoric.  Who were the fools sayign that all along again?

His worst moment came when he hid behind Martin Luther King, Jr.: "What we can do is bear witness and say to the world that the incredible demonstrations that we've seen is a testimony to--I think what Dr. King called the arc of the moral universe. It's long but it bends towards justice." The president was counseling patience, and it always looks so unwise, so impetuous, to be against patience. But King was not patient with injustice. And when it came to his own campaign, to his own hunger, Obama did not cite King on the long arc of justice. He cited King on the fierce urgency of now.

SERIOUSLY. Wasn't this guy a conservative hero before now?

Being in an extramarital affair makes you a republican-in-name-only regardless of your politics? Is this party a political party or a church organization?

We can't get politicians to be conservative for anything. We vote for them, support them... they run off and shove amnesty down our throats. So we kick their asses out and they go on MSNBC and slam their replacements and make even more money. Or switch parties.

If absolving them of any standard of moral decency is the price we pay for having them articulate conservative principles so be it. I find that much more palatable in congress then a bunch of profoundly decent communists.

God knows nobody with half a brain cell looks to government for moral leadership anyway.

Technically it was an 'affair' but for most couples a separation means the suspension of marital vows so it wasn't the betrayal that other scandals have been. His dumbassery was mainly having an affair with a staffer who was married and putting himself in a position to be blackmailed. Compared to Sanford this seems like a pretty minor scandal.

"His career is not a concern of mine." --Jenny Sanford

rdb -

I don't care if she's a saint or a bitch, it really doesn't matter. Obviously it takes two to have a successful marriage and it's highly unlikely that Mrs. Sanford was a perfect wife/partner/friend. If she was a lousy wife he should have divorced her. How hard is it for a guy who supposedly is into family values to focus on his head and heart before getting his johnson serviced?

With regards to your post, I'd caution you to take what you've read about the circumstances with a grain of salt. I'm sure there's lots of spin and just plain misinformation out there. For instance, I read that it was the mistress' other boyfriend who discovered their love notes and forwarded them to the newspaper. I've also read that the wife's discovery was much more recent, not the 5 mos or more that has been reported elsewhere.

Really at the end of the day the guy's problem is that he is not able to keep his priorities straight. They should, at minimum, be his job as governor and his role as father. It looks like he played fast and loose with the state's resources in order to be with this woman, so he needs to go.

Sanford doesn't give a shit and I don't blame him.

He's giving a big Fuck-You to the rules of politics and that, in my opinion, is good. His marriage is over and you're all naive if you think Sanford's affair blindsided his wife; she knew about it long before we did.

Posted by: Unicle tweets at June 30, 2009 05:14 PM (IjTSF)

113 I've never subscribed to the theory that marital fidelity is critical to a politician's ability to govern. I do think if they are going to wrap themselves up in the family values banner it is incumbent upon them not to be found wanting in that area, if only to protect the conservative agenda. However, I've seen 14 year old girls with their first crush less overwrought then this train wreck.

Whether Mrs. Sanford was a cold fish, and that is what motivated Gov Sanford, is open to conjecture. I'd be inclined to say he probably wasn't getting something out of his marriage that he needed since he doesn't give off that serial cheater vibe. But, really, outside of the salacious gossip angle it's no business of anyone else.

What is important is that he has provided fodder to further demean fiscal conservatisim and seems incapable of stopping this compulsive sharing of details.

I worry very much about the kids.  I know what my estranged husband's behavior did to our two sons.  A betrayal of the mother is seen as a betrayal of them; the other woman is chosen over their family.

OF COURSE Jenny Sanford said he couldn't go to Argentina.  What woman in her right mind would say okay?  Like my EH, Mark Sanford was more interested in his fantasy than his family, and he was NOT committed to restoring his marriage despite the chance he was given to do so.

As I understand it, the husband ALSO worked for Ensign. That's F'd up. He banged his subordinates wife (who, coincidentally, was also his subordinate). And may have abused his power to cover it up and/or threatened their livelyhood.

Engisn cheated on 2 people and broke 2 sets of marital vows. Sanford only screwed up one. One that appears to have been screwed already anyway, same as Ensigns was.

Apparently at the time of his trip to Argentina he and his wife hadn't been living together for a few weeks.

You don't know what goes on in the privacy of someone's own home.   However, sometimes tis better to end a marriage than to inflict any more parental harm on the children. Even when the parents think they are being discrete, the kids, even little ones, know, they know.  I mean if dad has to ask mom if it is okay to go see his  GF then the kids already are probably hearing fights.  Eventually you can repair your relationship with kids who love you.  And, if you were the innocent victim then  that may be different from making someone stay in a bad marriage for the sake of their political career which is what might have been happening.

151 Seriously, though, I think the admission of multiple infidelities belies the notion of a guy trapped in a marriage. In any event, he could have separated from her even if she wouldn't "give him" a divorce.

152 It's all very simple really. Believe me I know.  It's all about sex.  Nothing more.  Marriages with great sex last and are bulletproof (short of some inherent sickness).  Marriages without become adulterous or turn into an eternal friendship.  Most are the latter but if either spouse still has a high sex drive adultery moves to the fore.  One thing is for certain, there wasn't good sex going on and when the Gov stumbled on to the chance he fell for it like most weak men do or will.  His marriage will never work because if the sex was non-existent or very sporadic before it will certainly cease to exist now.  I can assure you that regardless of what the wife may want, after having new, fresh and hot sex the Gov will NEVER want sex with his wife again.  So at this point they might as well divorce.  Best for everyone.

159 This is 2009 on Earth:

DEVASTATED Michael Jackson fanatics have committed suicide because of the superstar's death, according to the singer's biggest online fan club.

Up to 12 heartbroken followers of the star have taken their lives - including one Brit — said the MJJcommunity website.

The startling claim came as it was revealed a Jackson lookalike in Russia cut his wrists after the star's death was announced.

Gary Taylor, who runs MJJcommunity.com, said: "I know there has been an increase, I now believe the figure is 12. I believe there may have been one Briton who has taken their life.

"It is a serious situation that these people are going through but Michael Jackson would never want this. He would want them to live."

Russian fan Pável Talaláyev was found bleeding heavily at his home in Moscow just hours after it was announced that Jackson had died.

But an ambulance crew found him in time on Friday and managed to save his life.

One of the ambulance men said: "He was in a terrible state and kept on saying: 'It's all the same to me. I'm going to kill myself. It's the worst tragedy of my life and I don't want to live any more. I don't know why you saved my life, I want to be with him'."

Pável — Russia's most famous Jacko lookalike — modelled himself on the star from the age of nine.

If you're referencing my post, I meant he could have obtained a separation when he realized that his marriage was not fulfilling and then go sow his wild oats. But it sounds as though he fooled around (with multiple women, not just his "soul mate") but wanted to maintain the appearance of being in a happy marriage.

As for the tipster, although I wouldn't deny a scorned wife the right to put the screws to her husband in the papers, I believe that it's thought that Sanford's girl friend's boy friend (now an ex-bf) is the one who tipped the paper. That scenario makes more sense. If the paper had a tip from the governor's wife, they would have run with the story... but by having a tip from some guy they didn't know anything about (from another country no less) they sat on it for 5 or 6 mos.

170 I'd like to sing a little song I wrote about my dear, dear, lovely, loving soulmate.

And it goes something like this:

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How your pussy used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could get in another girl's pants
And, maybe, Mr Happy would be happy for a while.

But Jenny Sanford made me shiver
If I left her, she would stab my liver.
Bad news - no Argentina;
No more fun for my weinah.

I can't remember if I cried
When dildoed Maria made me her bride,
But something touched me deep inside
The day my marriage died.

So bye-bye, to Jenny's sweet pooter pie.
Drove my weinah to Argentina,
Left my state high and dry.
And them good old boys were lookin for me low and high
Singin, "we can't get hold of this guy.
"we can't get hold of this guy."

Do you want to know just how we made love,
With me below and Maria above,
Not like the Bible tells you so?
Do you believe I could put my legs,
Behind my ears and Maria'd throw eggs,
At my pinkish, puckered, pulsing asshole?

Well, I know that you want to hear what we did
With a turtle, a table, and a billygoat's kid.
We both used lots of lube.
Man, I dig Maria's three boobs.

I was a lonely middle-aged horny gov
With a pinkish hard-on that I wanted to shove,
In the ear of a dear, dear friend I love
The day my marriage died.

I started singin,
Bye-bye, Jenny's sweet pooter pie.
Drove my weinah to Argentina,
Left my state high and dry.
And them good old boys were lookin for me low and high
Singin, "we can't get hold of this guy.
"we can't get hold of this guy."

Thank yew-w-w-w! Thank you so much.

We know because Mrs. Sanford said so.

1.  She found a letter & learned of the affair in December.
2.  She told her husband she wanted to work on the marriage but that he had to break off the affair.
3.  He asks her about a month ago if he can go to Argentina.  She said no and asked him to move out in order to make up his mind.

A man truly repentant and committed to saving his marriage would have broken off the affair and put his energy into his marriage.

I was a Sanford supporter, and even appreciated that he may have loved his mistress.  I don't often agree w/K. Parker but her latest piece on this and her mention of eros and that the Sanford/Ben Chapur saga is a subject that is treated over and over again in literature is something that I agree with.

So now, he may not be a serial fornicator but he's a serial grab-ass, on occassion, with the boys, when they're "blowing off steam."

He probably never loved his wife.  She had talents upstairs that he needed.  She had money, etc.

Her confabs with the press, however understandable, made her seem like she was trying too hard on one hand and trying to score points (I didn't think he had it in him!) on the other.  In one of the shots of her at home, she's sitting in a chair balled up in the fetal position.    And there are the kids between all of this.  He's their father, nothing is going to change that.  But I can't believe that he doesn't understand that continuing to play this in such a public manner isn't a crime against their innocence.

A week ago, I said we shouldn't even be talking abou this, but it's really like watching an accident and not being able to look away.

185 #161 Goddess  Sorry for your circumstance.  But don't let that cloud your accepting the facts.  Obviously my comments aren't an absolute but certainly true in the vast majority of cases.  Men aren't that advanced when compared to women.  They pale by comparison.  What they want and need to make them happy is very simple but women still don't get it and continue to blame everyone but themselves when things go sour.  Just read a new poll recently where close to 70% of men expressed a marked decline in their satisfaction with their marriages after kids came along.  Now just why in the hell do you think that is?  Again, continue to deny the very simple truth and once again risk being hurt.  Men are simple creatures.

Don't take that the wrong way. I called the reverse argument the same. I'm not being perjorative.

The point is merely we do not know all the details of it all. And to make comments - not neccessarily yours - as many people have saying 'he has no soul' or 'he never tried to make his marriage work' is not, as rdbrewer would put it, objective apprehension of reality rather then subjective perception. To make such judgements you have to read his relationship like a Rorschach. Everyone will see what they want to see to make their point.

The wife is not an unbiased impartial source of information here.

And she lies to maximize her public appearance - we know that. Not that there's neccessarily anything wrong with that, but while this dude was missing and shortly after she was not entirely forthright about what she did or didn't know. So it's not like the thought hasn't occured to her that's she's in public view right now.

Perhaps, just perhaps... she was a loving and caring wife up to and during his fucking around but, unlike too many women before her, decided to tell him to hit the friggin road. Perhaps, staying awake at night and wondering who your sworn partner is diddling will do cause a person to be less empathetic to the political aspirations of that person.

Perhaps, having to look her children in the face on Father's Day, no less, and tell them that she couldn't explain why their father wasn't there did it to her.

Don't get me wrong, women screw around too and if it was the other way around, my thought process would be no different.

Entropy, why are you so obsessed with the character assassination of Mrs. Sanford?

Because, at worst, I see it not so much effective as a character assassination but rather a balancing factor against the character assassination of Mr. Sanford.

Why are you so obsessed with the character assassination of Mr. Sanford?

You don't know all the details of why he's done all that he's done to be making half the judgements upon him that have been made by various people in this thread.

GRANTED, what he did was not exactly peachy. But there are so many terrible horrible people out there it's an odd priority. There's far worse found in the halls of government if you're looking the hyperbolize and make moral examples out of people.

You'll note I have NOT assassinated Ms. Sanford's character in any matter. I've said not much of a damn thing about her, other then "We don't know". I'm not saying it is or isn't her fault - I'm saying I don't know. Nor do I entirely care or need to know.

But rushing to one judgement or the other, same difference. If you ask me why I'm assuming one side of the argument, hypothetically, it's in reaction to you assuming the other.

But mine is hypothetical. You (or some others) seem to be asserting your judgement as fact, when it is not. This is what I'm illustrating with my so-called "obsession".

So, forget Sanford.  Even if he hadn't had the affair, even if he had defeated Obama in 2012, he still would have let us down in some other way.  That is what politicians do.

Versus her being a loyal loving supportive saintly mother and wife and him just being a callous lecher? Tremendously mitigated.

How? Really? .... Uh... self evidently? It just seems so obvious..

Yes. And if I had to guess, my GUESS is, you're very wrong here with your judgements against him. Because when I look at him, my intuition, with all this sappy pineappleheaded nonsense, is something else entirely.

But my assumptions are no better then yours. It could be either.

That's the only point I've got - everyones going to make these biased assumptions based on their own experiences. And there's nothing neccessarily wrong with that - it's nature, but we should be aware of our own bias and not mistakenly regard our assumptions as fact.

I accept that fact that sex is the number one priority in a marriage to many men, including you.  I still maintain that if a man feels unsatisfied, he'd better communicate with his wife and work with her on the situation instead of breaking his commitments and betraying his family.

Or he could've just skipped the diplomacy and threatened to ban chocolate, raise taxes on shoes, and mandate that the thermostat in the governors mansion be permanently set to 68 degrees unless she put out more.

Entropy makes some good points.

I thought Sanford's emails revealed a few things about their marriage.  As a single person, I've watched a few of my friends marriages fall apart and have had co-workers ask me for advice.  Why, I don't really know. I think probably because I did try to see both sides, and would call b/s if I thought they were sliding in some cant.  Sometimes I could see why their husbands would stray.  Not that they were bad women, it was just that they no longer had any idea of what their husbands needs might be.

Men talk after sex.  That's when you get to know quite a few things about them that you need or should want to know.  And it's been my experince that it's the most significant way they bond with you.  It's not merely about a drive to release. That's how they love.  Admittedly, I've been celibate for a long time now, so maybe my recollection isn't all that it should be.

I doubt he will stay married long...perhaps for the boys sake. But assuming he is financially set, he's gonna hitch with the argentinian sweetheart and live happily ever after.

And someone posted that his wife used to work as VP or M&A for Lazard....boy, why any man would marry such a woman escapes me. Its just like you should generally as a rule never marry female lawyers...they're over ambitious hard workers who have no sense of what it means to live life.

Reason enough to march Mark out to the firing squad.

Entropy, I asked 'what difference does any characterization of his wife make? because it is not obvious that it makes any difference.  Mark is unreliable (there's no question that he left the country and was out of contact for the better part of a week) and clearly can't do his job (as evidenced by his insistence on spending all hi time looking for a microphone and the next mea culpa),

I don't understand why you think he should get bonus points for hypothetically being in a sham marriage, nor do I think he should keep his job just because you can conceive of some way to spin the situation that might have defused it.

He should keep his job or not based on whether or not he's doing a good job, and by all accounts I've heard, he is.

I really don't care if he disappears for a week. If he HAD been hiking, would you still want him to resign? I wouldn't care.

I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you need to think your governor is working 24/7 because it gives you a sense of safety or something (maybe not, I'm being snarky), but if he gets the job done I don't care if he works 2 hours a week.

Hell, as a minarchist, I'd prefer it.

Should he be using state resources to go on vacation? No.

Will the next governor do it too, and more? Probably.

Most governors misuse resources way worse then that.

Hell I'm from Illinois, so long as a guy doesn't wind up in jail we consider him a paragon of virtue.

I disagree.  One of the perks of office.  You get to fly in the state plane.  Otherwise, Hillary owes us a lot of money for her round-the-world tour in Air Force One while Bill was president.  And then Michelle just had to stay in europe a few extra days to do some shopping.  You know how it is.  She just had to.  And O'Bama went on a rather expensive date recently.

I think it's a perk, but it should be used judiciously.

One time our governor years ago was confronted about the use of the state plane.  He took his family to some vacation spot or to take a look at a college for the kid or something.  Some reported asked in an accusing way whether he had used the state plane for personal reasons.  He said, "Yes."

Love that.

271 hmmmm. odd. I know some people want to paint the wife as a controlling shrill woman and maybe a mommy too busy to have sex... WE all know that story.

but i know something of men in prestigious positions. But with money and power can come weirdness. Its possible for one to have a hot wife, who gives him any kind of perverted sex, on demand with no strings attached, and if they have been married for years ... have him just get bored with her. Wealthy powerful men often feel entitled,  want some strange, and to try other flavours. This does tend to make wifey cranky when she finds out.

Man in question and woman that i knew tried to work it out for five years while he flagrantly had affairs (often in front of her) and acted like he was so put upon by his psycho wife, who acted neurotic and needy. New Girl is very surprised is surprised to discover, now that this guy is hers full time, that he's also violent in... aham...private. And the last woman wasnt psycho--she was terrorized. She still doesnt know about the men, im sure that will come out.

Sometimes things are not as they appear. they are much much weirder.

Just a true story i know. Dont assume a man cheats just cuz hes needy and the womans not trying to give him what he wants. Sometimes people are just weird.

Anyway, while looking at these websites...I like the variety and the search feature of Pornhub, I must tell you...Anyway,as I was saying. While looking at these websites at no time did I cross the line. I repeat. I did not cross the line...Oh, except maybe one time. I think it was an interracial gangbang scene with Sasha Gray. God, that little girl can take a big one....Goodness, me. But that's the only time...THE ONLY TIME. Ahh, wait a minute...OK, I think there might have been one other time of line crossing...Yeah, it was Angel Dark....on a pool table...with a dildo....you know, one of those clear plastic ones...boy those are sexy... and her tits are huge....AND REAL!!! Yeah, I did cross the line there too. And it got all over my pants. But that's it. OK that's all for today. I'd like to thank the press for coming. No pun intended. haha.
