You asked a reasonable question:  How would Pelosi win this?  I don't know.  I'm mostly just saying that I think she's powerful and ruthless and wouldn't hesitate to retailiate, national security be damned.  Plus, her district is San Francisco, not Salt Lake City.  Demolishing the CIA would be seen as A-OK, not a career killer.

So, if being bold means having to worry about endless hassles from the media and congress, I suspect most will start being more concerned about covering their asses.

 

Keep in mind, I hope I'm wrong.  I'd love to see the CIA smack Pelosi arround like a pinata over this issue until she breaks apart.
