White House: Obama Did Not Bow To That Guy. King Abdullah

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The video is below the fold. Obama's left hand is clearly on his leg while bowing. So exactly how many hands does Obama have?

BTW- The whole Obama is taller thing? No sale. I'm 6'5" (real world, not fakey internet height). I'm taller than a good 90% or so of people and I've never bowed low enough to check out a guys package while shaking his hand.

So somehow, God knows how, we get through the photo op and one of the Poohbah's minions shows Barry the jakes. And it's one of those squat jobs, not a regular American toilet. But Barry's in a bad way and the express train is coming at high speed. The Secret Service guys swore later that the smell was so bad it set off the smoke-detectors in the hallway and scared the shit out of some bomb-sniffing dogs outside.

Anyway, alls I'm trying to say is: give Barry a break. The dude ate a bad burrito and got the runs. It happens.

283 This is one of those things where the bow itself didn't actually bother me that much (as long as he never did it again of course). The guy made an idiotic mistake, everyone gets a few of those. Bush pulled some knucklehead things while in office.

I wasn't bothered at first, either, because I thought he had bowed for the queen, as well, and I thought even if he was mistaken, he was at least consistent. But the he didn't bow for the queen.

Unilateral bowing is a bit different. It isn't an act of friendship, it is an act of deference, submission, or fealty.

Newsmax contacted the Sutton family and they categorically denied Wardally�s claims to Smith and the Politico.com. So there was no retraction of Sutton�s original interview, during which he revealed that Khalid Al-Mansour was �raising money� for Obama and had asked Sutton to write a letter of recommendation for Obama to help him get accepted at Harvard Law School.

Sutton�s personal assistant told Newsmax that neither Mr. Sutton or his family had ever heard of Kevin Wardally.

�Who is this person?� asked Sutton�s assistant, Karen Malone.

When told that he portrayed himself as a �spokesman� for the family, Malone told Newsmax, �Well, he�s not.�

Someone is clearly lying or mistaken here, I am just not sure why it should be seen as Sutton and his assistant.
