Tedisco Has 12 Vote Lead After Recheckin Machines and Correcting Typos

This isn't a recount, note. Just a "re-canvass," which I guess just means making sure you entered in the right tallies.

So, Tedisco leads, barely... until the inevitable recount begins discovering hundreds of votes from Al Franken supporting sections of Minnesota.

More [DrewM.] Here's a round up of the returned absentee ballots to date by party and county.

This was one issue I turned out to be wrong on. I predicted that without the affects of Obama and McLame the Republican would win easily. Well it turns out Obama is still carrying the liberals and the Republicans still did not turn out. Someone familiar with this guy and the 20^th district says the Republican is a RINO. That just shows that the wigs picking so-called “centrist” candidates is still killing the party. It appears that Republicans are just no longer going to vote for liberal RINOs.

And it also appears this one will be a little harder to “find” votes in trunks of cars since the polls were ordered to impound and lock up all the ballots immediately after the election.

The Corner claims that most of the counties in NY waited way too long to send out absentee ballots to the military and then required a postmark of March 30 (1 day before the election) in order for the votes to count.

9 @ dan-O no. 8: actually, donks often "correct" the tally in their favor during the re-canvassing. That's when a lot of phony votes get in.

Just look at the phony votes in MN that were added by double-counting ballots that were hard to read. This is what was supposed to happen:

step 1: make an exact copy of the ballots that are hard to read. Step 2: mark the originals and duplicates as such so nobody gets confused later which is which: Step 3: count the duplicates, do not count the originals.

Here is what actually happened:

step 1: duplicate hard-to-read ballots in an area that supports Franken. Step 2: don't mark any ballot as a duplicate or as an original. Step 3: count both duplicates and the originals.

Dems always cheat as much as they possibly can. Tedisco needs his people to be on red alert for this kind of thing.

17 New York is not Minnesota. There are no ballots to find in New York other than absentees, of which there is an absolute limit based on the number of absentees requested, and provisional ballots, which may or may not be counted.

New York usually votes on decades-old lever machines. There are no hanging chads or half-filled circles to interpret. The machines registered a vote or didn't. The only fight will be over the admissibility of absentee and any provisional paper ballots.
