The Comedy of Errors Continues

President Obama's choice for #2 at HUD?

The 'most fined' bureaucrat in Washington state's history.

Sims is culpable for what may well become the largest fine for violations of public records laws in U.S. history: see Yousoufian, Armen

My own public records suit against Sims (for delaying release of election records which revealed that King County officials unlawfully counted hundreds of ineligible ballots in the 2004 governor’s race) goes to trial in April.

Read Ed's whole post. This is yet another unforced error by Team Obama.

Predictably, some in the media are still busy spinning.

Well, if the shit hits the fan on this one, at least the people who get their news from  the Seattle P-I might finally get to read about who really won the 2004 Gubenatorial election... or about this lawsuit at all.

Again the MSM covers itself in glory, although to be fair, anyone who didn't know the the election was rigged in King Country is arguably comatose.

The New York Times has started selling front-page ad space: $75k during the week, $100k for the Sunday edition.

Michael Steele ought to buy an ad, run some call for resumes from "honest, taxpaying, law-abiding Democrats to staff the Obama Cabinet."

We deserve a better quality of villain than The One is giving us.

Please, can we ixnay on the Simsnay. I'd like him to go far, far away from Seattle. It would be great if Gregoire trotted off to DC as well. And, is it possible that they'd like one Mayor, slightly used, and full of stupid?

I mean I know it would move them from ruining one city and state to creating epic fails on a larger scale, so I'm sorry about that. But, I really want them gone from here so we can get in a new set of fuck-ups.

23 This has to be disappointing because here in WA Sims is known as the Supreme Party Leader. When he got tapped for the #2 job the other day, this is one thing he said:

None of you lowly conservatives know the truth about "The One". He is smarter than all of you put together. You see his plan is to drag out getting the stimulus bill passed by turning Pelosi's people against her. And while that is going on he is going to nominate every democrat for some position or other so that their tax scoff lawing can be revealed. Thereby forcing them to pay up and then there won't be a need for a stimulus bill.

Isn't "He" just wonderful?

32 Thanks for noticing the inconsistency of appointing Ron Sims, of all people in the entire country, to anything in the Obama administration.  Obama's campaign rhetoric included an emphasis on "transparency" and his first executive order was to lift document production restrictions under FOIA.

If you're curious about the details of my 12 years plus long Public Disclosure Act litigation against King County (Washington State) Executive Ron Sims, resulting in the highest court ordered fines in U.S. history under any state's open records act, check my website: www.ArmenYousoufian.com or my blog: www.Yousoufian.blogspot.com.  You'll find links to articles, You Tube videos explaining it all, the legal rulings through 6 court appearances (I prevailed every time), legal briefs since 2001, etc.
