Whence the First Lady's Dress?

Hahahaha, look at his big ear.

2 As a lifelong Democrat, I have to admit I have grown tired of stupid McChimpyHussein and his puppet master Darth Hairplugs and their Wars against innocent people.

Just yesterday the Fascist rounded up a Million Innocent Civilians in Freezing Cold and subjected them to the infamous unbearable torture called "Aretha Franklin". That man is a WAR CRIMINAL and should be arrested immidiately!

3 When I see that photo, I'm reminded of a favorite saying.

"Messy desk, tidy mind."

5 Is it me, or does he look like a little boy playing in his father's office? I don't understand why a lot of people think he looks Presidential.

6 Did they just staple the Klingon back up into the curtains?

Posted by: Dan at January 21, 2009 07:18 PM (53iqM)

I was also thinking that desk ain't gonna get too much messier in the next few years.

Remeber all the jibes about Bush being a "Hands-off" manager, like that was the sure sign of cretinism?  Ain't seen nothin' yet!  Now we're gonna find out that leadership is really all about talking out your ass a lot.

Posted by: sherlock at January 21, 2009 07:18 PM (jdXw+)

8 Ok when you think about it it would be handy to have a few Klingons hiding in the curtains in case an assassin gets through the layers of security.

9 I have about a hundred "Star Trek" quotes that come to mind for that pic.

10 Nice shiny desk for the One to gaze upon his magnificent reflection.

Oh and those curtains should have stayed in the 70s.

11 It's called camouflage.

No way Barry's getting a Monica in that office.

12 I was watching this program on National Geographic channel the other night about Air Force 1 and they were following W around on his trip to Africa a couple of years back and showing the huge amount of logistical work that goes into making a trip like that come off. And I was thinking about how fuckin' neat it would be to ride on AF1 and how even neater it would be to have it at your disposal 24/7 and then I had the following thought.........I can't imagine BHO even looking for a minute like he belongs there. What a miniature figurine 52% of our countrymen have put into this position that would appear to require an awesome human being.

If Obama being *selected* to head the Harvard Law Review was the main reason for his book deal, shouldn't we ask why that it's such a big deal?

I mean, so what? Almost a quarter-century before Obama was given his position at HLR, Thurgood Marshal was appointed the first black Supreme Court Justice in 1967.

A black man heading the Harvard Law Review in 1990 was really no big shakes, if you think about it.

I really, really, really hate seeing him at that desk, and I hate even more that the klingon lives in the White House now.

I'm curious when he took the couple of hours off in the middle of the day "just to contemplate things," as he indicated was important during the campaign.

89 You know what is driving me nuts ... Michelle Obama is not an attractive woman. I am not catty. It is just the way it is. She is hulky and most of her clothes look odd on her. Not to dis another first lady but Michelle is a younger, black body shape of Barbara Bush. No one ran around saying how beautiful Mrs Bush was.

Everywhere I turn Michelle my belle is being shoved down my throat as soooo fashion forward. In the age Obama ugly is pretty when our better tell us so.

The woman should never wear a dress. She is bow legged with cankles or bowkles.

"

In other news, we’ve been watching pictures of the coronation ceremony since they keep popping up everywhere. First off, let us compliment the G-d Emperor on his choice of clothes. He looked just like a scrawny scarecrow in an Armani suit which, come to think of it, pretty much describes him: All suit, nothing but straw inside.

His First Sasquatch, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as subdued. She went all out celebrating her newfound fame and fortune as First Ho of the United States, showing up first in an outfit that made us weep for the rococo couch that had to give up its life and be skinned to cover her doublewide arse. And then, later on, she showed up at the inaugural ball dressed up as the Charmin’ mascot (minus the bears), and we have to admit that we never thought that any land object of that kind of mass could be TP’ed that artfully, but still she managed.

You can throw a nobleman into a burlap sack without him losing his bearing, but no matter how much you dress up a peasant, it will still be obvious to all and sundry that you’re dealing with a peasant.

We were a bit surprised that the Beanstalk-in-Chief agreed to her baring her shoulders like that, though. Not out of modesty, we’re not even sure that the Husseins are aware of the meaning of the word, but because it has to be a bit embarrassing that her shoulders are broader than his even when he’s the only one wearing padding."
