You Stay Classy President Obamanation....New White House Website Trashes President Bush

Earlier somebody in the comments pointed out the new White House website was redesigned to celebrate America glorify the jackass who was just sworn in. Turns out it also now takes several swipes at former President Bush.

Under the “agenda” portion of the site regarding Katrina, it reads: “President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. He and Vice President Biden will take steps to ensure that the federal government will never again allow such catastrophic failures in emergency planning and response to occur.”

“President Obama swiftly responded to Hurricane Katrina,” the statement on the site continues. “Citing the Bush Administration’s ‘unconscionable ineptitude’ in responding to Hurricane Katrina, then-Senator Obama introduced legislation requiring disaster planners to take into account the specific needs of low-income hurricane victims.”

Hey Obama...fuck you and your fellow travelers.

Yeah, the honeymoon is over.

I trust the legislation directed low-income folks to vote for better mayors and governors. That seems to make a big diff.

I tell you, when the crash comes, and the facade falls, it will be something else to behold. Pretty words, to be sure, come from Obama. But when you compare those words to...

The 'accidental' middle finger given Hillary during the primaries...

The same 'accidental' finger given to McCain during the general...

The 'lipstick on a pig' comment on Palin...

And now this, this is a man who has risen too high too fast for his own good. He was a mere state senator four years ago at the last inaguration.

Hubris is a son of a bitch, and right now Barry is rolling in it. When the inevitable crash occurs... it will be something to watch.

Biden, Obama helped keep 'Bridge to Nowhere' alive

DEWEY BEACH, Delaware (CNN) -- Although Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden routinely mocks his Republican counterpart, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, for her onetime support of the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere," Biden and his running mate voted to keep the project alive twice.

Both Biden and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama voted to kill a Senate amendment that would have diverted federal funding for the bridge to repair a Louisiana span badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina, Senate records show.

What broken promises. How mnay BILLIONS have we poured into that sinkhole already?

What failure? FEMA was not and is not a first responder, not even a second responder. The fault lies entirely with the local and state governments.

What did he do? What? Vote? Is that doing something now?

WTF? He wasn't President when Katrina occurred. How in the world could he swiftly respond to something that didn't happen during his presidency?

What's next?

"President Obama swiftly responded to the Nazi threat?"

Or

"President Obama swiftly responded to the problems of black slaves, and began what became known as the American Civil War."

Or

"President Obama swiftly responded when the young nation was looking for leaders, and advised Washington, Jefferson, Franklin and Hamilton on how to create a democracy, and helped write the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and The Bible."

33 Obama's plans for America are exactly what led to the debacle in New Orleans to begin with:  a population of people incapable of doing anything for themselves but who wait for government to sweep in and guide them through their lives.  Add to that the same kind of incompetence and corruption that thrives in his home state of Illinois, and you've basically got the recipe that turned Katrina into what it became.

Sheesh, libs, everything is projection to you, isn't it?

54 The only thing I credit Bush for is that he fucked up the country so bad that the nation turned around and elected a black guy with the middle name Hussein, and whose own citizenship is questionable, to the Presidency. That should be enough evidence alone that he was so terrible at his job, the country decided to go in as far the other direction as possible.

That and the worst approval rating in history when he left office. But that won't matter to you guys though, I'm sure. The 3/4 of the U.S. that say he sucks, they're just all extreme lefties, right? And that they all are dumbshits, right?

But not to worry, because most of you still think that this is a right-of-center country, right? Sorry, it isn't. Under normal circumstances, the electorate may be right of center. But it ain't now.

68 You must read the rest (all )of the Agenda?? It's bad:

Barack Obama and Joe Biden believe we must be as careful getting out of Iraq as we were careless getting in. Immediately upon taking office, Obama will give his Secretary of Defense and military commanders a new mission in Iraq: ending the war. The removal of our troops will be responsible and phased, directed by military commanders on the ground and done in consultation with the Iraqi government. Military experts believe we can safely redeploy combat brigades from Iraq at a pace of 1 to 2 brigades a month -- which would remove all of them in 16 months. That would be the summer of 2010 -- more than 7 years after the war began.

I'm sorry...what??

Move Toward a Nuclear Free World: Obama and Biden will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons, and pursue it. Obama and Biden will always maintain a strong deterrent as long as nuclear weapons exist. But they will take several steps down the long road toward eliminating nuclear weapons. They will stop the development of new nuclear weapons; work with Russia to take U.S. and Russian ballistic missiles off hair trigger alert; seek dramatic reductions in U.S. and Russian stockpiles of nuclear weapons and material; and set a goal to expand the U.S.-Russian ban on intermediate-range missiles so that the agreement is global.

Since I was so utterly sick of the Obamania, I snapped back, "Why the fuck should I waste my time listening to Obama?"
She responded, "Well, when your grandchildren ask you what it was like to witness the first African-American being sworn in to being the president, you'll just have to tell them that you didn't feel like watching it. You're just being a sore loser. You don't have the right to talk shit about Obama since you didn't watch the inauguration."

Testy testy testy Nick.  There is no need to present any defense because you and the rest of your liberal family remain safe after 8 years of George Bush.

However, when al Qaeda does return, it's going to be blood bath and your family is in the bulls eye.  It's a shame your poor mother and father will suffer because of your mindless drivel, but it is a liberal desire to placate and make friends with the enemy.  Better call old mom and dad and tell them good by cause under O'Bambi, it's just a matter of time.  Boom!

I am so sick of hearing about President Bush's mistake with Katrina.

How f'ing stupid are you if you have a mandatory evacuation and you decide not to leave???

This country is all about the victims of their own stupidity anymore.  Whatever happened to personal responsiblity???  It is no longer.  I have yet to hear one liberal ever even consede that perhaps the people that did not leave were idiots??  No all you hear is how awful the gov't and President Bush were.  Do they live there?  NO,  you do,  so get your stupid ass head out of your ass and leave, and quit bitching when you are a moron and get stuck there.  How about being thankful someone would risk their life to come save your buckfuckingstupid ass?

If the GOP doesn't take advantage of this shit, then we are done as a country. I am so ashamed of 52% of my fellow country men.

It's country women who elected this classless, unexperienced communist. What the hell is wrong with the womenfolk in this country?

Also, screw you Barry! I will do my best to never say or think a kind word about your sorry ass for the next four years. And when your kiester is roasting over the hot coals there I'll be with a poker to jab at your loins.

God, you and your minions are the most classless bunch of assholes ever to take office. I thought Clinton was bad. Then again, I thought Tom Daschle was bad, too. What happened to the Founding Fathers? Are there any statesmen left in this country?

91 Under the “agenda” portion of the site regarding Katrina, it reads: “President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.

Bush signed a relief bill for 250 billion bucks to rebuild that shithole when it would have been better to fill it in with dirt. Just because the dirtbags who run that dump have stolen the money doesn't mean he broke his promise. Besides, I thought that throwing money at a problem was tantamount to fixing a problem

Katrina is a fucking red herring. During and after Katrina Mississippi recovered just fine, texas recovered just fine. In other hurricanes Florida recovered just fine. They all had republican governors. The only place that was totally fucked was a fucked up state (at the time ) run by democrats who let the busses drown with their citizens.

Democrats can fuck up an anvil with a rubber mallet.

94 The 3/4 of the U.S. that say he sucks, they're just all extreme lefties, right?

Nope. On the other hand, who knows what they think. At the ballot box they re-approved a Congress with even lower approval ratings than Bush. One thing's for certain - they aren't a monolithic block who think Obama is the shizzle, or who think his Marxist vision of the future is the shining path to prosperity. Otherwise Supreme Mr Cool wouldn't have lost a single state.

There are many reasons why Obama is in office, but chief among them is McCain's 'honorable' stance not to pin the blame for the financial meltdown squarely where it belonged, on the Democrats' meddling with mortgages and insane insistence that 4,000 sq ft homes are a basic human right, regardless of the 'owner''s ability to pay. Obama got away with lying about Bush's 'deregulation' (as if there are no regulations) of the financial system as the source of the meltdown, but curiously no-one asked why Obama and the Democrats who had House and Senate control did nothing, ah, don't ask tough questions of The One, he's above the fray, he doesn't sweat, please. In the absence of an alternative narrative, enough people were stupid and ignorant enough to believe Obama's simplistic lie.

So now you'll get more misguided regulation, more Sarbox, more tying the hands of capital, more taxes, and you'll wonder why prosperity isn't flying in on the unicorn like Obumfuck promised.

Too fucking bad. Wonder how many more thousands of revisions of Obama's promises we'll get in the next months.

I would hope an enterprising reporter in the MSM would do some checking.  For example, Katrina hit LA late August 2005.  Obama was sworn into the Senate in January 2005.

It should be a pretty easy matter to check bills sponsored by Obama in the 109th Congress and see what he actually did and, well, what actually passed.  Bills like S2257 (To provide for an enhanced refundable credit for families who resided in the Hurricane Katrina disaster area on August 28, 2005) which didn't make it out of committee after being proposed in February 2006 (or almost six months after the hurricane).

Or like S1770 (To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide for advance payment of the earned income tax credit and the child tax credit for 2005 in order to provide needed funds to victims of Hurricane Katrina and to stimulate local economies. ) which similarly didn't make it out of committee.

Or S1865 (To ensure the evacuation of individuals with special needs in times of emergency. ) because, well, I guess responders can't be trusted to help special needs people in times of emergency and, um, also didn't make it out of committee.

Or S1638 (To provide for the establishment of programs and activities to assist in mobilizing an appropriate healthcare workforce in the event of a health emergency or natural disaster.) which didn't make it out of committee and had zero (ZERO) co-sponsors...in other words, a vanity bill.

That's what he sponsored.  He co-sponsored a few others, but I can't find anything that links well to the description on Dear Leader's Whitehouse.gov webpage.  It would be interesting to know specifically WHICH bill Obama is taking credit for, and I'd like to know on behalf of the Katrina victims on whom he is namedropping what part of their suffering was alleviated by Obama.  Because from what I've seen, nothing Obama sponsored even made it out of committee, much less passed.

Yes...that's the kind of reporting I'd love to see from the MSM and not some bored accountant doing a comment on a blog.

And this is the same asshole who preaches about how now it is time for "unity" for "healing" and time to "come together".  Nice job of uniting us, jackass.  You just lost your chance with 48% of the country.

To Obama, it is all about Obama.  No one else, probably not even his unproud wife or even his kids, who knows.  But one thing is for sure: it certainly is not about any of us.  Nor any of those gullible dunces who voted for this douchebag.

I still can't believe that you idiots are stupid enough to think that McCain didn't use a particular line of attack because of some unexplained "honor" when the simplest and truest explanation is that he didn't use it because it wasn't true.

Had McCain tried to confront Obama on that in a debate, he would have got squashed.  He knew it and you should give him more credit than to assume he didn't.

I said it before and I'll say it again 1984 was a work of fiction, not a how to guide.

"Day by day and almost minute by minute the past was brought up to date. In this way every prediction made by the Party could be shown by documentary evidence to have been correct; nor was any item of news, or any expression of opinion, which conflicted with the needs of the moment, ever allowed to remain on record. All history was a palimpsest, scraped clean and reinscribed exactly as often as was necessary."

seattle slough...I am not so sure that I would discount the Democratic culpability on this one, though I am sure you are right in that Obama could have probably pounded him on that (with such scant evidence).

Maybe it was lack of regulation, but I tend to think, perhaps to a flaw, that government intervention tends to be responsible for more economic mayhem.  The prime rate had been lowered and raised several times before, what was different here?  What happened beforehand that could account for this?

Morons, I think that we should table the GWB legacy project for now.  As conservatives, we should be confident that intelligent people like seattle slough and Nick will discover things for themselves.  A legacy needs to be able to stand on its own not propped up with the equivalent of the treasury of a small country (or, in this case, it could be the actual treasury of a small country).

152 If we let him take away our civility, he controls the way that we interact with our countrymen, we become like those inhumane posters at the Democratic Underground or at Kos.

Hot Air and some other sites are telling us to be nice and raise our hands. After all, being like the Kostards just turns people off. Keefums cut and pasted that to his teleprompter. Huffpo posted vile scribblings from Hollywood scum and it was reprinted in the DemSM. That vulgar and vile stuff really drove the moderates and polite society away from Obama and the Dem Congressional and Senate candidates, didn't it.

This is true, but we should not fall into the trap of making everything about politics.

Do you think that GWB wants you to waste the next 4 years trying do defend his legacy?  If he did, he would be no better than his opponents.

I am sick of being asked to make nice with shitcocks who spent the last 8 years calling people like me Nazis and shit because I don't want some Jihadi Jackass blowing my fucking head off while I took a crap in the bathroom of my local mall. I'm not going to "unify" with these mealy-mouthed emo bitches who tried to pretend to bravery by constant denigration of a President who was doing everything in his power to keep some coprophiliac bukkake jockey jihadi motherfucker from blowing their stupid fat heads off their pencil necks.

And now Imperious Leader Obamajebus is trying to pretend he was doing something when Katrina hit other than sitting in his bathroom in Illinois whacking off to taped lectures by Noam Chomsky? Bull-fucking-shit. Trying to say that Bush broke his promises to the people of the Gulf Coast for rebuilding? Bull-Fucking-Shit.

I just looked at it - under "other issues" and found this:

"Senator Obama also laid down principles for how to discuss faith in a pluralistic society, including the need for religious people to translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values during public debate."

Now ain't that just dandy?

163 Wait wait - what's this:

Create Automatic Workplace Pensions: The Obama-Biden retirement security plan will automatically enroll workers in a workplace pension plan. Under this plan, employers who do not currently offer a retirement plan will be required to enroll their employees in a direct-deposit IRA account that is compatible to existing direct-deposit payroll systems. Employees may opt out if they choose. Experts estimate that this program will increase the savings participation rate for low and middle-income workers from its current 15 percent level to around 80 percent.Expand Retirement Savings Incentives for Working Families: The President will ensure savings incentives are fair to all workers by creating a generous savings match for low and middle-income Americans. His plan will match 50 percent of the first $1,000 of savings for families that earn less than $75,000. The savings match will be automatically deposited into designated personal accounts. Over 80 percent of these savings incentives will go to new savers.

It's late in this thread, but it bears pointing out that Nick didn't have a word to say about the complaint that launched this thread:  the nakedly partisan misuse of the whitehouse.gov site to diss the previous occupier of the Oval Office.

Fair warning, Nick:  you come back here pulling that shit, and then telling us WE aren't dealing with the issues, we will pull your intestines out with grappling hooks.

Harsh?  No more harsh than Rahm stabbing dining table with his steak knife, threatening death to his political opponents.   But I expect you're down with that.

Oh and btw, fuckwit,: "worst presidents" don't get re-elected.  Jimmy Carter is the perfect example.  On top of that he's the runaway winner of the Worst EX-President Award.

Russian joke told by Leonoid Brezhnev on becoming Supreme Soviet Leader:

When I took over, I asked my predecessor if he had any advice,  he said:  in that desk are two drawers with 2 envelopes in them,  when you get in real trouble and the people want your head on a platter, open the first one and do what it says, and the 2nd time open # 2 and do what it says.  So the first time he got into real trouble and the people wanted his head, he opened the evelope, the letter said "blame you predecessor" which he did and it worked.  The next time he got into real trouble and the people wanted his head, he opened the second envelope, the letter said:  make two envelopes.

The citizens of Iraq had better start looking for a fast exit ramp out of Iraq. The Obomonazi's will surrender the victory to AQ within months. AQ will have full control of the country in less than a year. Then the left wing Obomonazi's will find out just who has the WMD from Iraq. I see about 40 AQ members got their 70 virgins early by playing with some of the nonexistant bio/chem WMD.
