Michelle Obama's $300,000 "Job" at a Hospital Obama Got Earmarks for So Scary-Important It's Eliminated As She Departs, With No Replacement Sought

Hmmm... I'm sorta thinking the "job" wasn't really critical at all, and certainly wasn't $300,000 per year critical.

The Chicago Way. Cush no-show jobs for political favors.

But remember -- Michelle Obama has had to work twice as hard to get half as far.

Thanks to Brett. Brett Weir.

What the hell has she done that warrants TWO biographies.  There was a third on their marriage, declaring them to be "America's Favorite Power Couple".

I threw up a bit in the back of my throat.

Being the lifelong cynic that I am,  I am looking at Zero's actions right now geared towards his re-election bid for 2012.  I am also fearing that there will be a movement to repeal the 22d Amendment.  Look for this to start around 2010 and push until it is repealed.  So, Zero's going to steal the election in 2012 and then manage to get around the 22d Amendment and look towards 2016.

I weep for our future.

Don't forget the "and 15 other executives" also laid-off part. Like most private universities, the U of C is heavily dependent on its endowment, and has been hit pretty hard by the financial collapse and stock market tumble. The hospital is having an especially hard time because a lot of people defer health care during economic downturns (or may have plum lost their health insurance if they've lost their jobs). I have friends who work at the hospital, and upcoming staff cuts were announced just before the holidays (to the great increase of everyone's holiday cheer to be sure). It's kind of refreshing to see administrators laid off before lower-level employees who actually, you know, take care of patients.

Obama’s position was probably also an attractive target because they didn’t have to actually fire anyone to save the money. (I work for another division of the U of C, and our bosses have said they’re going to try to do staff reductions exclusively by hiring freeze, but we’ll see how that holds up as the downturn continues …)

For Lady Unicorn to get a bump in salary approaching 300%, just after Messiah earmarks money for U of C, smells like twelve kinds of rot, yet ought to suggest that she was extraordinarily valuable if we assume this was fair play... FWIW, I am currently reading a biography of Stalin and I found it among a group of about four different titles on him at a Borders.  The author pulls no punches and points out just what kind of monster he was.  I'd skimmed the other titles, and they all seemed to paint him as a really bad guy (correctly).  So, at least this particular group of authors/editors/publishers haven't been drinking the Kool-Aid (either voluntarily or through coercion).

I will enjoy every misstep of hers.  And, given her inabiility to hold her tounge, I predict much merriment on this issue.

I have also cancelled my subscriptions to all magazines that have done a 'spread' on her, showing me what a fashion and womanly role model she is.

Rezko and his associates controlled that board, which they used to solicit kickbacks and payoffs, according to testimony at Rezko's trial. Rezko was convicted. Whitaker, who said he wasn't involved in the board's day-to-day operations, was never accused of any wrongdoing...." "Whitaker left the state payroll a year ago and joined Obama's wife Michelle as a highranking executive at the University of Chicago Medical Center. When he was hired, U. of C. was seeking permission to expand its children's hospital -- one of five expansions the university sought from the state while Whitaker was health director. All were approved by the planning board. Whitaker and the U. of C. said he had nothing to do with those approvals." "Whether and to what extent Dr. Whitaker had anything to do with the [approval] process while at IDPH was and is totally irrelevant to his hiring by or his work at the Medical Center," wrote Susan S. Sher, a medical center attorney." Oh, yeah.

 Lily, Ginger & Kelley....

There's a special place us women have for Michelle, I daresay. Something innately repulsive in her. The arrogance, the smugness, the lack of class, the entitlement mentality. She makes me want to wretch. It's a feeling many women I know have with regard to her.

Count me in.  I cannot STAND her.  Why the hell is she so praised by the media and all other useful idiots?  Like her husband, what the hell has she ever done in her life besides go to school?  (On affirmative action, too, which she admitted in an article, saying that her grades were not very good).  And the arrogance of it all.  Her attitude.  She has had everything handed to her and she STILL reserves the right to bitch and whine about everything in life.  Her attitude is repulsive.  She is not 'beautiful' like every magazine would have you believe--and the ugliest part of her is her personality, it seems.  She is ugly on the inside, and it shows bigtime, to those of us who see reality for what it really is.  She has absolutely no class whatsoever, she was just in the right place at the right time, just like her idiot husband.

88 Don't forget she comes from the right family.  Barry needed an "in" with the Chicago black community and marrying her provided him with one.

89 Aw, don't say mean things about the First Tranny. Her ass needs all the support it can get.

90 Well, the job is being eliminated because she did such a bang-up job by simply not showing up at all.
So perhaps the wrong Obama is being inaugurated. Let's swear her in, usher them back to the beaches of Hawaii for another well-earned respite and in 6 months there will be no need for a President.

Look at all THAT money we'll save.

91 Michelle?

Beautiful?

Look, she just about blew my picture tube when that snout of hers first popped up on my screen.

92 We have had enough corruption in the White House.  The Obama's are corrupt just like 78% of the people who work in the White House.  African Americans Obama is not the answer to the problems you face.  Education, business ownership, jobs, training, and better social programs is the answer.  Obama will fail.  You all will be so disappointed.  Those that voted for him will be thrown under the bus.  Like he does everyone else.  Get ready for a bumpy ride.

93 This isn't a depression, the economic numbers are left-wing bullshit....there s no "BUSH DEPRESSION"....Bushes policie did not caused th drastically overblown and liedabout "sub-prime" crap....and the reaon the stock market went down was a combination of the "news"(promotion by the msm) of Obama "winning"(fake ass polls he stole this fucing election BIG TIME)and the "bailout" the democrat orchaestrated with their money inflation and payola scandal on the economy. Bernake, Paulson, Dodd, Schumer, Clintoon, Obamafuhrer, and Frank etc. should all be in jail for causing literally every inch of this mess fom the scandals to the lying about it to introduce f'ed up legislation intended to prop up democrap money machines goldman sackofshit and the like.....Despite CRA which was imposed on the entire banking industry creating ashit ton of of problems it just like the fucking Savings and loan bs was not a signifigant factor in the economy. Government causes these problems th media cover their asses, and then Congresspushes the typical left-wing fascism to take more control and more "regulation" of America. Sickening.

98 Players are always fighting in Runescape. It’s one of the reasons the game is so popular, being able to go to another world, attack monsters, and take their treasure . It’s adventure. It’s excitement. It’s fun. Especially through outstanding account.
And one of the best parts about combat (melee combat) is that it is by far the cheapest of all three combat methods.Ranging costs buy runescape gold because it requires the use of arrows. Magic costs even more because it requires lots and lots of runes. But melee combat is relatively cheap. The only and runescape money for sale you must spend is on your weapons and armor. Once you buy those things, you don’t have to keep buying more and more stuff to keep fighting. As you gain levels in Runescape, you will be able to buy better and better equipment. The better you get, the better the weapons and armor you can use, which makes you better able to keep your buy runescape accounts leveling-up.
And while we are getting the basics out of the way, let’s take a second to learn about the world of Runescape. Or rather, the worlds.
