And the Bush 300b TARP fund to buy toxic assests which they then abandoned and decided instead to give the banks cash. What a circle jerk! I've stopped paying as much attention because every time I do I come up against the hard truth that "we are in uncharted waters" and nobody seems to know what the fuck to do, least of all the government. How can we spend our way out without massive inflation? Indeed, without massive Stagflation?
