Yep, Franken Stole the Election

"Every single dubious ruling seemed to help Franken."

[T]he board has been flagrantly inconsistent. Last month, Mr. Franken's campaign charged that one Hennepin County (Minneapolis) precinct had "lost" 133 votes, since the hand recount showed fewer ballots than machine votes recorded on Election Night. Though there is no proof to this missing vote charge -- officials may have accidentally run the ballots through the machine twice on Election Night -- the Canvassing Board chose to go with the Election Night total, rather than the actual number of ballots in the recount. That decision gave Mr. Franken a gain of 46 votes.

Meanwhile, a Ramsey County precinct ended up with 177 more ballots than there were recorded votes on Election Night. In that case, the board decided to go with the extra ballots, rather than the Election Night total, even though the county is now showing more ballots than voters in the precinct. This gave Mr. Franken a net gain of 37 votes, which means he's benefited both ways from the board's inconsistency.

There's more, but that right there damns this charade. Where Franken's election night totals exceed his recount totals, they go with his election night totals. Where his recount totals exceed his election night totals, they go with the recount number.

13 Coleman may as well let it go, because he will lose any court fight given how lenient federal courts are on state voting procedures.

The root cause of this problem nationally is the Soros-backed Secretary of State Program, which ensures that uber-leftys will be in charge of all close recounts.

This could be easily solved with national standards and a national voter ID, but that's the last thing the Dems want given that their strategy is to use our money to but votes from society's poor, stupid and outcast.

Here is what we need to do people. First stop doing business with any Democratic supporting company or business in your area. Next when you get the stimulas check from Old Big Ears don't run out and spend it. Use it to pay off debt or better yet cash the check and hide the money at home. Start paying for things with cash and do as much business off the books as possible. Trade for things if possible.

We need to stop helpping these people. Yes it will hurt our country in the short term, but think of the following example. Your arm is trapped under a tree and you are miles from help. What do you do? Sure the Doctors could save your arm if you get help, but there is no help coming. Your best choice is to cut off your arm and survive.

That is the choice we are facing. We must be willing to take the short term pain of "cutting our arm off" to make sure the Democrats fail. To the long term pain of living in the hell hole the Dems and libs want to turn this country into.

That sure is an awful lot of bad karma our Democrat friends are building up.

Anybody remember all that talk about a permanent GOP majority not so long ago?  I always thought that talk about mailing in this election cycle so we could come back stronger in 2010 or 2012 was a load of bunkem.  Now, I am not so sure...imagine McCain as President with this bag of mutts running Congress.

Why don't you just follow your ideas to their logical conclusion and set up a militia compound in West Bumfuck, Montana.

I don't often resort to profanity on a blog but I must say that these fucking butt biscuits here are going to reap the ass fucking they so richly deserve. This absolute joke of an election is the payoff. This vapid clown is the prefect representative of Minnesota.

I see major stag-flation coming with the Obomination's global warming insanity trashing the economy coupled with the trillion dollar give away. What's really going to put a smile on my face is when the taxes rachet up to really stupid levels. The EPA dorks are talking a $175 tax per cow to control cow farts. That translates into a price rise of around 50 cents a pound for meat and 25 cents a gallon on milk by the time all players have weighed in. The average American's real income is going to plummet as costs rise like the hot air from D.C. Nazi Pelozi is going to rachet light and heat costs to at least 30% greater than current within three years. Put it all together and while I'm retired in the Tropics living on non-taxable annuities these shit-birds are going to be lucky to pay their heating bills with two income earners per family. Ha ha.

No one is talking about taking up guns and shooting at people. Nor am I talking just about Stewart Smally winning in Minnesota. For the last 8 years the Left in this country worked as hard as they could to foil the Conservative agenda and do as much damage to this country as they could. They did so secure in the knowledge that no matter what they do people like you will shrug your shoulders, smile and then go back to the grind of trying to get ahead in life. They count on it. They build their plans around it.

You ever read "Animal Farm" by Orwell? Not to be rude but you are the Work Horse. Not to ruin the book for those who haven't read it, but at the end of the day when he is wornout from all the hard work he has been forced to do on the windmill project the Pigs sell the Work Horse off to the glue factory.

If we don't start digging in our heels and fighting back and start making them accountable for their own mistakes we are all going to get sold to the glue factory down the road.

Why do they even have standards or deadlines if they aren't going to repect them?  If votes were "found" then they are late and thus invalid.

If you can't figure out who won in less than a month then they should have a revote not another recount.

Better yet, lets have all the Coleman voters dress in red jumpsuits and all the Franken voters dress in pink tutus, give them all bats and have a state-wide battle royal to settle this thing.

Posted by: Lemmiwinks at January 05, 2009 12:40 PM (Nwbo8)

24 Shrug. It's a statistical dead heat. Instead of the recount, they should just have flipped a coin.

This is going to be good. Franken couldn't get a clean win in the most liberal state in the Midwest, in a Democrat year. Why? Because he's a clown! So MN can send a clown to the Senate, and I'll pop the popcorn. Seriously, this may turn out to be the Republican bright spot this year.

I told you months ago, the recount was only for the drama and to allow the (bought and paid for) media (The Red Star and Assoc.) an opportunity to have something to write about.  The DFL (corruptocrats) already had more than the needed dead votes (largest voting dead population in the country).  The DFL run the state government, the judges and the education system that allows them to teach the correct propaganda to the sheeple. Any doubt you may have had just look at our past 3-4 governors, most of our state house reps. these clown only need a circus. The DFL will continue to lie, cheat, and steal because there are no valid checks in this state.  They only want the power and cash and have not served the people of this state in a very long time but the ownership of academia allows them to convince the sheeple that it is for their own good that we are being screwed and laughed at.

Is anyone really shocked by this?

To the left the ends (electing leftists) more then justifies the means (election fraud). Drop by their chat rooms if you want to see what they really think...

Overall the Left has always had a low regard for representative government. In the past they have endorsed the likes of Mussolini, Wilson, and every flavor of communism. Their current love affair is with European technocracy.

You can make a strong argument that both conservatives and leftists want to temper the popular will. Conservatives do so with laws and constitutions, and leftists do so with powerful men who happen the think the right way.

First stop doing business with any Democratic supporting company or business in your area.

This already happens. A lot of merchants put "Kerry/Edwards" stickers on their doors, and a lot of Republican customers stopped going there. The opposite also happened. And we blame the media for a politically polarized society??

It makes more sense for (a) merchants to focus more on their businesses than on party politics, and (b) for customers to patronize the good businesses and stop buying from the bad ones. Commerce really works well that way.

Politics does, too.

I put up a comment on the moderated forum for WSJ a couple of weeks ago when an NR editor had a piece defending Sarah Palin and comparing her in some ways with a young Margaret Thatcher. I was surprised to see that most of the comments took the liberal line that she was an idiot, that the Republican party needs to be more moderate, yada, yada.

Right!

What was the margin before this nonsense started? How did Franken get more than 20% of the votes? What kind of crappy campaign does a guy have to run to allow Al Franken to get more than 20% of the votes?

It's all okay because that's who the people of Minnesota chose -- not all of the people, but half, plus a few, give or take, but most, par les regles.

36 OK- yes, we do suck in many different ways.
Our recount law is abhorrent and we desperately need a runoff election next time as we have a strong third party, the Independence (formerly Reform) Party, that makes these elections this close in the first place- the IP candidate this time was Dean Barkley- a long-running, well-known commodity who Gov. Ventura had placed on Paul Wellstone's seat after his tragic crash and before Coleman was sworn in.

But it should be noted that MN also fell victim to ACORN's "Secretary of State Project" (the brains behind this change-a-roo is an ACORN stooge named Mark Ritchie) so we didn't pull this crap all on our own (just like many of the mortgage companies didn't go subprime all on their own).

Anyways, I will accept a ton of vitriol from you people, but "Canadians" we are not- hell, the frickin' Canucks don't hold back their sneering disdain of all things "Americain" when they're in Minnesota anymore than they do in other states, so "STFU", OK?

Nazi Pelosi, Bumney Frank, this buffon dirty dirty little Harry Reid, Rhambo "fishwrap" Emanuel, Richard Daley, UAW, Obama. Is anyone dirty yet?

Stimulus package? Barry thinks $500 per taxpayer (or welfare recipient) or $1,000 per couple will bail this sewer of an economy out? Someone should mention to Barry that Bush tried it a year ago. The economy was flatlined, and barely jumped for all of about 3 weeks, then back to flatline. This stimulus is different how?

Watch how long it takes to get the balance of the package into the economy. I'll wager they don't have $100 billion spent by year end, what wirth repugnant union games, contracts, environmental laws, etc. Economists estimate that less than $10 billion in projects is "shovel-ready" (to work within 30 days). Average time for this type of spending to work into the economy? 4-6 quarters. By then roving gangs will rule the roost in this cesspool.

This economy is toast. Barry's plan is a dismal failure. I for one am in favor of breaking the country up so I don't have to live anywhere near these liberals imbeciles. Give 'em California and Utah.

The second Great Depression is guaranteed. Sell your stuff and buy gold. It's over.

Thanks, Liberals for ruining the country. A ssholes.

Anyways, I will accept a ton of vitriol from you people, but "Canadians" we are not- hell, the frickin' Canucks don't hold back their sneering disdain of all things "Americain" when they're in Minnesota anymore than they do in other states, so "STFU", OK?

imagine McCain as President with this bag of mutts running Congress.

I'm not one of those who thinks we're going to come back like the pheonix, but I'm happier every day that McCain didn't win. Now if we could just get him out of the Senate, so he doesn't make nice with the Democrats by giving them cover on every hot-button issue.

42 Who gives a shit. The worse this congress appears, the better. When does Barry don the Panama hat? Can you believe the cock sucking press hid his embarrassing pics while parading around Palin's? If Palin can't find a team of attack dog, media owning motherfuckers, she might as well stay home. She could when if she simply declared war on parts of the media.

43 "The Chair recognizes the lying, cheating sack of shit from Minnesota."

Pelosi's fluffing her husband's stocks and her donors' profit margins by keeping wages low in guam, Feinstein's contracts to her family's companies, Jefferson's cold cash, Reid's land deals, Dodd's land deals, Obama's mob-money house....

The Democrat Party is a Racketeering-Influenced Corrupt Organization. Given the massive corruption, I pretty much have to assume that all of them but Lieberman and Miller are in on it.

If only we had a journalist corps that had a shred of decency, all of that wouldn't

74 Players are always fighting in Runescape. It’s one of the reasons the game is so popular, being able to go to another world, attack monsters, and take their treasure . It’s adventure. It’s excitement. It’s fun. Especially through outstanding account.
And one of the best parts about combat (melee combat) is that it is by far the cheapest of all three combat methods.Ranging costs buy runescape gold because it requires the use of arrows. Magic costs even more because it requires lots and lots of runes. But melee combat is relatively cheap. The only and runescape money for sale you must spend is on your weapons and armor. Once you buy those things, you don’t have to keep buying more and more stuff to keep fighting. As you gain levels in Runescape, you will be able to buy better and better equipment. The better you get, the better the weapons and armor you can use, which makes you better able to keep your buy runescape accounts leveling-up.
And while we are getting the basics out of the way, let’s take a second to learn about the world of Runescape. Or rather, the worlds.
