Pretty much sums up why I rarely go there anymore also. I think the guy's gotten a lil' full of himself over the past year and he can get fairly arrogant occasionaly. Don't get me wrong I think Charles has done and continues to do great things over there on his blog and LGF is still top notch, but he should get a co-blogger or too like Ace does here. It would make the content alot more refreshing and interesting, and offer a welcome break to his smarmyness at times.

Seitzman's one A-list movie that brought in any income was the putrid "North Country" that starred Charlize Theron. He has a few widely spaced B-listers listed on IMDB but I would imagine that his "understanding wife" pays for the house in Brentwood. As for IMDB credits, it doesn't take much, they even list porno movies so some 18 year old doing a week's worth of shooting for drinking money at UCLA has a bigger resume than Seitzman.

One last question: Does the Attorney General of the US have to be a practicing attorney?
I know that Uni-Brow Dohrn does not have an atty's license in Illinois or New York because of her criminal record and jail time. Each state bar actually has a character clause, so to speak, for applying to the bar, in addition to the test. She was rejected by the Bar of Illinois because of her criminal record and didn't bother to push the character issue with the New York Bar. She can teach law, she can call herself a lawyer but she can't make appearances or practice without a license. Funny how that works. But I don't know if that precludes her from the position of Atty General. (Other than the fact that her nut-bag husband is the only mammal on the planet that thinks she should be considered for the position.)

Discovery Channel had several "Megadisaster" docudramas on that were quite good, you can see them on Youtube. One was "Solar Storm" in which a sunstorm of high intensity with a rare magnetic polarity match knocks out just about every electronically dependent device and power station in the world. This docudrama places it in November of 2011. We are going into a very active period of sunspot activity. That storm would sure play havoc with Obama's teleprompter.
Another hypothetical Megadisaster portrayed was the supervolcanic total eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera. It's been shakin' a lot up there for the last week, you never know. If it blew before 1/20/09, any surviving troofers and Huffpo would claim that Bush set it off with nuclear bombs to trigger the volcano. A simple military coup and martial law would be a bit easier to handle, but as they say... never let logic get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.
