"Oldowan" sent this. As you can see, the scammer writes in the same exotic English as the typical Nigerian scammer.

I would like to share some highly personal classified information about my personal experience and role which I played in the pursuit of my career serving under the U.S 1st Armored which was at the fore-front of the war in Iraq. Another great one is Busted.

The trick isn't that they waste these scammers' time. The trick is they con the con artists, and actually chisel money and work out of them, and then promise then tens of thousands of dollars... which somehow never arrives.

They get very angry when they begin to suspect they've been promised something the promiser has no intention of delivering and that they've furthermore been scammed out of time, labor, and effort.

Funny, that.

10 What I thought was funny was I'd see these things that were from units that weren't there during the invasion, like the 1st Armored Division, they came that summer, or allegedly "from-theater" e-mails from units that weren't deployed at the time. I had a guy e-mailing me claiming to be in the 101st in Iraq, and the entire division was home on Campbell at the time. And if ANYONE in this world would know that bit of info, I would.

24 Z Ryan, I reported them to their ISP and the Feds. I have received four of them so far and all came from different ISPs and all in Europe or Asia. I report all spam with all the needed full headers and other info needed. I hate spammers more than I do hobos or liberal butt nazis for that matter.

Specifically, can they get 50 AK-47/AKM rifles with no serial numbers for an important client in an unnamed Central/South American county. He, of course, is very successful in the import/export business, but needs to arm security guards at his warehouse.
