There's a growing groundswell of support for JD Hayworth to rise from the ashes and challenge McCain for the nomination in 2010. If McCain tries this shit and gets it through, I think he can kiss his Senate seat goodbye. Napolatano at least took the hint and got the hell out of Arizona as fast as she could thanks to a fucked up state deficit and a complete 180 on her border enforcement policies. Because that's exactly what we need, with a ballooning debt, foreign wars, and economy in tatters. A sweeping expansion of federal entitlements, which is exactly what amnesty will bring. (Not that we weren't in for that already, mind you.) I really though O might have a difficult time passing amnesty, and he would have without the cover Johnny Mac just gave him. Anyone else have the sneaking suspicion that John McCain actually voted for Barack Obama?

McCain is up for re-election in 2010 per this article in the WA Post. Someone needs to challenge him in the primaries. Note that this was tried with his butt boy Linseed Oil Graphamnasty in the last election in a State more conservative than AZ. It went to a run-off between Graham and another guy with Graham the odds on favorite.
The poll workers were shocked that I chose to vote in that primary because if you voted there you could only vote for one of those two. The Democrat primary runoff had ALL of the other lower offices, most of which would not have a Republican candidate in the general election.

Okay, Palin should run for Governor of Arizona AND Alaska. Then New York, then California.... once she is Governor of all the states, we pass a Constitutional amendment and she becomes Queen, and we turn loose a mighty army of bulldozers and raze DC to the ground, except for the nice memorials to what great leaders we used to have. I am amazed that nobody has thought of this simple solution before. Of course, I am on my 3rd Gracious in Defeat*, a cocktail named in honor of Sen. John McCain.

I knew he'd be on the amnesty shitwagon the minute he got the chance. What does he care if the entitlement system will balloon to unfathomable levels? He's got enough money to take care of himself & his family so it won't affect him in the slightest. What does he care that all these illegals, should they get amnesty, will be forever in the election pockets of the Democrats? Hell, he's one himself. I regret any donations I made to him. McCain? He's a disaster even though I ended up voting for, however reluctantly. I'm even thinking it's a great idea that should Bush leave office immediately, as suggested in a recent NYT column. How interesting to see how things unfold. Couldn't be worse that what's going on right now (well I guess it could, but that's coming anyway). Look at the bailout for Citicorp/group? Allow the graceless and corrupt Democrats full responsibility. They have education, media, government, and now the economy (really can't call it an economy anymore).
